{•Lynette, now Dream•}

I stood at the window, watching the guards and workers repairing the walls outside of Warhol Manor while I was leaning against the wall as I stood at the open balcony door.

The last 2 days after the great battle felt like years for everyone.

Despite taking Remington's blood and my broken bones and other severe injuries being fully healed, I still needed a lot of rest, and to recover like many of us did, since it was all still mentally exhausting in the end. So that's why I've mostly been in my room, just me and Remington, while most of us took some time to heal and process everything.

Warhol Manor took some hits from some bombshells, and some soldiers did attack, but thankfully the damage wasn't as severe. However there were some casualties, and some were exposed to the poison and injured.

Damiano, Austin, and one of the young vampires from the Transylvanian realm, Matt, were exposed to the poison, and are in recovery before figuring out if it is possible to turn them back.

We sadly lost so many other soldiers and friends, Colson, Tyler, Hannah and Ashton included, among many others.

Genevieve is working to bring back Colson, Lady Moon, as well as anyone else turned to stone, which may take some time. Anyone else who cannot be revived is to be given their proper burial at the Blackwell Cemetary, or have their bodies transported back to their own realms for their own proper services.

Reparations on not only Warhol Manor, but also Blackwell Castle began. I'm also told that Sebastian is going to look into how severe the damage at Lieseil Castle is, and consult on repairs to begin as soon as possible.

I took a deep breath as I held my pendant in my hand, smoothing down the skirt of my dress.

(Picture: Example of
Lynette's dress)

Emerson had experimented with some fabrics he found in my mother's safe while he was fixing up her Calypso outfit for me, so I decided to wear one of them.

The color is not something I'm used to, but I don't hate it either...

I looked up as the sun shone through the clouds, warming my skin.

I sighed and closed my eyes and took in the rays, feeling calm.

At least it's all over....

As Laura's lateat headline read in The Obsidian Empire Chronicle that day.... PEACE AT LAST

Remington and his brothers were currently meeting with Alister in the throne room with the other leaders, while Larisa, Shy, Justin, Jay, and some of the maids went to help the villagers, Shy helping at the hospitals to heal the injured.

Lilath's body was recovered, almost unrecognizable and in pieces according to Samuel and Captain Sixx, and we were unable to stop the former prisoners and citizens of Obsidian from expressing their revenge on her. Remington says that her remains will be cremated and disposed of properly, far away from the Void Realm.

I shuddered at the thought, taking another deep breath deep breath.

Any surviving members of the rebellion were arrested and will face trials or immediate sentencing. They are being held in both the Blackwell Castle dungeons or the ones here in the Warhol Manor, heavily guarded and awaiting trial.

On top of the end of the Visigoth rebellion, as well as the end of the curse that anyone of Visigoth blood suffered according to High Priest Oracle Mars, I also found myself mentally preparing myself.

My thoughts were pulled by a knock at the door, which then opened as I opened my eyes and looked out again.

"Your majesty..." Andrew's voice spoke.

"Andrew....." I scolded softly with a frown, crossing my arms.

Once things were settled, the staff and soldiers had begun to officially recognize me as Princess Dream Rosalind Lieseil."

It was going to take some time to get used to it, so I asked them for now just keep things as they were before.

"Right.... Apologies, milady...... Someone would like to see you now...." he said, making me look to see him, Hermes and.....

I gulped softly as I turned, facing Bartholomew as he walked in....

My father....

He looked at me, and he pursed his lips as he looked at me sadly but relieved.

I pursed my lips shyly as I looked at him.

I still can't believe it... My father...

After so many years of pain, anger and separation..... Here he stands...

"Dream...." Lieseil mumbled with relief, his eyes getting watery. "At long last...."

Dream....

My name.... Is Dream....

My home.... Is here....

I have a family..... I have a father.....

I whimpered and ran to him as we pulled each other into a tight hug.

He held me tightly against him as I felt tears streaming down my face as I broke down.

"My sweet little Dream....." He said softly in a shaky voice, stroking the back of my head. "I've waited so long...... God, just look at you...."

I took a deep breath as I pulled back and looked up at him.

Blue eyes... Just like mine....

"All these years.... I thought I was alone..." I said. "T-That I had no one...."

"Please, find it in your heart to forgive me, my sweet daughter.... We only ever wanted to protect you from the harm that was coming for you..... We never wished for you to suffer your whole life in the Earth realm like that.... Or to bear our burden here...." he said, looking down.

I sniffled and shook my head, looking up at him. "You didn't have a choice.... It's not your fault...." I said. "Or my mother's fault, I know that now, and I am so sorry for thinking otherwise and ill of you both...."

He looked at me sadly as he spoke, then stroked my hair softly.

"I don't blame you.... I know of the atrocities that you suffered in the Earth realm before Remington bought you back...." he said. "It killed me for nearly 30 years having to watch with my hands tied.... Only being able to see your face through potions and orbs.... Only when Remington came to Earth and met you was when I was able to finally speak to you from Oblivion...."

I frowned and looked up at him, feeling tears fall down my cheeks

"Losing both you and your mother on the same day broke me..... I couldn't even give Eloise a proper burial because of the Visigoth's...." He said.

I sniffled as he gently wiped my tears away.

"We beat them.... Its over, and we found each other....." I assured him.

He took a deep breath and he then gently held my face in his hands.

"You look so much like your mother..... Ellie would be so proud of you.... Proud of the woman you've become.... Of everything you have accomplished...." he smiled.

I smiled up at him, more tears falling down my cheeks as I wiped them away.

"My precious Dream... Our beloved princess..... Welcome home...." he said as my father and I pulled each other into another strong hug.

{•Remington•}

We peered in from the hallway as we saw them embracing each other.

My brothers and I smiled as we admired the happy little family reunion.

"Words cannot describe how grateful we are to you, Blackwell Brothers.... You've reunited our broken family, helped break our curse, and you saved our beloved empire when we were powerless to do so...." Alister stated to us three as we looked over at them, all of us in the hallway.

"We are forever in your debt...." Hermes said with a respectful bow.

We smiled at each other and then at them as they stood back up.

"I only wish our poor little sister was with us to witness this moment...." Alister said sadly as we looked back at the father and daughter reunited.

I frowned and looked up at him. "She's with us in spirit.... Lady Eloise would be relieved knowing her daughter is home, now safe and reunited with her father and uncles, and that the people of the Obsidian Empire can now sleep peacefully at night once again..."

They smiled as then someone cleared their throat.

We turn as then Lieseil and Lynette stepped out, Lieseil holding her hand.

Or... I guess we all call her Dream now....

We all bowed in respect as Lieseil then looked at me.

"Remington.... Son of Buckminster and Marguerite," he said in his strong tone.

i gulped nervously as I stood there before Emerson nudged me to step forward, which I did and quickly bowed in respect.

"Lord Lieseil...." I said.

"I understand you were the one who found my daughter in the Earth realm, and you rescued her from a severe attack there," he asked. "Which lead to bringing her to Obsidian.... Correct?"

I nodded. "Yes, sir... With help from my brothers..... I met Lynette... Sorry, I mean, Dream.... When we were in the Earth realm collecting supplies to help aid the villages, and to hunt.... I found her working in a shopping center during a break from our mission...."

He nodded in understanding, looking at Dream and then back at me.

"I also understand you and my daughter are mated and betrothed.... Correct?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at me.

Dream blushed slightly and looked down, fiddling with the ring on her finger.

"Y-Yes... I proposed before the final battle with the rebellion....." I said nervously, feeling my cheeks burn red.

Emerson snickered quietly before Sebastian smacked the back of his head.

Lieseil nodded in understanding as I continued.

"Lord Lieseil.... I love Lynette, now Dream.... Nonetheless the woman I met on Earth, who stands before me now, is the greatest love I could ever ask for.... My other half, who every day I am grateful to have ever met her and to call her my other half...." I said proudly.

He furrowed his brows as I continued, Dream looking at me, smiling.

"It would be my greatest joy to become her husband, until the very end of time...." I said.

He nodded quietly as he then lifted his hand up to me.

"Your hand, boy..." he said.

I nervously walked up and placed my hand in his, where he then took Dream's hand in his other one, and then joining them together before holding them both in his.

"I am trusting you with a part of me, that I had to spend 26 years away from in order for her to live another day....." he said. "As well as for our empire to survive....."

We all listened to Lieseil as he spoke.

"You both have my blessing to start your new chapter together...." he said.

We looked at Lieseil with wide eyes before looking at each other, smiling and then running into our arms, hugging each other tightly.

We then pulled back and shared a kiss when Lieseil then spoke.

"Of course, I hope you do realize what this will mean for you both, young man," he said, making us look over.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused, as I held Dream close.

"You and Dream will be King and Queen of this empire now," Alister said.

My eyes widen as Dream and I looked at each other in shock.

"What?" Dream asked, looking at her family in confusion.

"My dear, you are, by default, heir to the Obsidian throne.... Child of the Founder's blood...." Hermes said to Lynette, then turned to me. "When Remington, the son of a Founder as well, marries you..."

"He becomes king of Obsidian...." Sebastian assured.

Our eyes widen.

"Precisely," Alister said.

I was at a loss for words. "But... I-I'm not of Founder's Blood.... We were adopted...." I said, Dream holding my hand.

"Do not discredit yourself or your brothers, boy.... Even Buckminster and Marguerite saw you threw as much as Blackwell's as any other in the family lineage," Alister said. "You are still their sons, no matter what anyone tells you."

"W-Wait, but... Sebastian..." I said, looking at my big brother. "Y-You're the king now.... I-I....."

"While he and his mate, Larisa, have taken very good care of things in our absense, and put the kingdom on top priority as well, it is only right that the true heir takes their place on the throne," Lieseil said. "Which is why they are willingly giving their crowns to Dream and to you...."

"Larisa and I only took power to assure that the Obsidian Empire did not fall, and because we were the only eligible heirs left at the time... It was only us since I'm older... However, Dream is a blue blood, the purest one. With you, Remington, marrying her, it creates a powerful union, and thus crowing you as king, little brother," Sebastian said.

Dream looked at us worriedly.

"Dream, calm yourself... Its not like any of us are going to be exiled or anything," Emerson assured with a smile. "You are still a part of the Royale Council, and our family."

I looked at Dream, as she seemed a bit assured, before she spoke.

"If... If that's the case, then.... I ask that Sebastian and Larisa be our royal advisors," Dream announced.

Sebastian's eyes widen in surprise at her request.

"He knows more about running a kingdom than me.... Though strict, he knows what is best and he can help us....." she said, looking at my older brother. "Emerson can also be a part of our court, too."

The three older men looked at each other before nodding quietly and then back at Sebastian. "Well, young man... Do you accept your future queen's request?"

Sebastian was speechless, but then nodded and bowed to Dream and I. "I accept... It would be honor to serve our Obsidian Queen and my brother as their advisor. I am also sure Larisa will gladly accept once we ask her."

"I accept being a member of Queen Dream and King Aldous's court as well," Emerson said, bowing down as well.

Dream smiled and then ran up and hugged Sebastian, surprising him a bit.

He smiled with a laughed and hugged her back.

Its good seeing how they both evolved since the beginning to now. How

She then pulled back and hugged Emerson, who happily returned the gesture.

I smiled as then they pulled back, when Victoria showed up, along with Michael and Justin.

"They're all waiting for us..." she smiled.

***

We climbed down from our carriges and walked over at the center of town square as all the citizens gathered around, taking a break from fixing all the debris, piles of rubble and trash here and there.

There's been clean ups, but there's still a lot to work to be done.

Everyone cheered as we walked to the high pedestal, the soldiers holding back as me, my father and uncles, and the Blackwell's walked up the steps and to the large angel statue in the center.

Andrew, Genevieve, and Leda also climbed up, along with a Michael and Chris, as well as Queen Onyx

Everyone else surrounded the pedestal since they couldn't all stand with us but still were with us.

I noticed up front a familiar face smiling and cheering for me and smiled at Ciara, who held her youngest daughter in her arms, her oldest daughter clinging close to her skirt. Ben standing with two young boys in his arms.

I waved at her, and she waved back.

That's when my father walked over and held his hand up, everyone going silent.

"People of Obsidian.... For many years, the Visigoth Rebellion has devastated and terrorized our beloved kingdom...." he announced. "Lead its leaders into hiding, exhile, and even death.... All in pursuit of wanting power over their own children, no matter the cost of bloodshed and death....."

We all watched as he spoke, focused fully on him.

"Even I had to sacrifice my own child, in order for our empire to survive....." he said, looking over at me.

I looked at him sadly as Remington held me close, the townspeople murmuring amongst each other, and then my father continued.

"Now, that reign of terror has come to an end, and Obsidian can once again be at peace," he said, making everyone cheer out.

"We know we have let you down when we were driven away.... However, we will make right to you and everyone affected, no matter the cost, and strive for a safer Obsidian for us.... Our children.... As well as their children and beyond," Alister announced.

Everyone cheered out loud as then Hermes stepped up.

"Now.... We present to you, your future queen," He announced. "Our lost princess now found..... Princess Dream Rosalind Lieseil of Warhol!!"

Larisa nudged me encouringly as I shyly stepped forward next to my father, everyone cheering for me.

I smiled at everyone as then Alister spoke.

"As well as her mate, your future king.... Lord Aldous Blackwell!!" Alister announced.

Everyone cheered as Aldous walked over and we held each other's hand.

I took a deep breath as he nodded encouragingly at me and I started to speak.

"Thank you..... About a year ago, I learned of this incredible land, this... This incredible world, and wanted to do what I could to help protect it..... Little did I know.... This world has always been a part of me......" I said.

Everyone watched and listened.

"My parents were left with no choice but to give me up, and send me far away in order to survive..... In order for Obsidian itself to survive....." I said. "Now, I can say that the tyrants that tormented all of us, that my own mother died to protect me from.... Have officially been vanquished, and we can be able to live in peace.... So long as Aldous and I rule, there will be no more pain and loss...."

Everyone cheered on as Aldous then spoke.

"As your king and queen, we promise to put your well being and needs as a priority, and make it safe once again for you and future generations to come!" Aldous announced.

"Long live King Aldous and Queen Dream!!!" Ciara shouted out loud.

"LONG LIVE ALDOUS AND DREAM!!!" the crowd shouted and chanted.

"LONG LIVE THE VOID!!!" Sebastian shouted.

"LONG LIVE THE VOID!! LONG LIVE THE VOID!!!"

I looked up at Aldous and smiled as he looked down and we shared a kiss before looking over at the crowd, eveyone of us joining hands.

***

After meeting with everyone, we decided once the sun was setting to head to the Warhol Manor again.

I climbed down from the carriage as my father held, and I looked up at the manor.

That's when I saw Jay walk out with Tania, who wore a simple blue gown almost similar mine, and her hair pinned back.

I smiled and rushed over as we pulled each other into a hug.

"Thank god...." I said.

"They grabbed me one night after work in the garage," She said. "Next thing I knew, I was in this world.... They kept asking these questions about you, and they beat me up a few times...."

"How are you feeling?" I asked her. "Are you alright?"

"Better now.... Andrew gave me his blood," She said, looking up at him.

My eyes widen, looking at Andrew. "Wait, what? B-But...." I asked.

"Don't worry. The High Priestess Genevieve gave her a potion to prevent any drudge connection," Jay explained.

Tania smiled and nodded as I was relieved.

"Besides, who am I to come between two human mates?" Andrew smiled.

Tania chuckled shyly as she looked at me.

"Does everyone here talk like that?" she asked me quietly, making me chuckle.

"Kind of," I said as my father stepped over.

"So... He's really your dad?" She asked. "And... You're a princess? Like, honest to god Lady Dee level princess?" she asked.

I laughed softly. "Yeah... I am...." I said. "Well aside from the part where my fiancé is way better than Prince Charles."

Tania giggled at me joke, but then looked up sadly at me.

"This means you won't be coming back, though.... Does it?" she said.

I frowned and looked at her. "I finally found my home, T..... I found all the answers I ever needed..... This is where I belong..."

She smiled. "I know... I'm just gonna miss you," she said.

I smiled. "I'll still visit.... And you're welcomed to visit here, too...."

She smiled as we pulled each other into a hug.

"I should get going.... Chase and my family is probably really worried...." She said as we pulled back. "Now to explain how I ended up in another dimension without sounding crazy..."

I chuckled softly. "Take care of yourself, okay?"

She smiled and nodded at me.

"Lady Tania, if I may escort you back home? We can figure out a good alibi for your loved ones," Andrew smiled as he held his hand out.

Tania nodded. "Thanks..." she said, taking his hand as they headed back inside.

"Your grace.... The Priestess wishes to see you...." Jay said with a bow.

I looked over at Aldous, who had furrowed his brows, and then we nodded and followed her, Emerson with us.

***

We walked into Genevieve's work room, and I saw as she stood by an alter table with High Priest Oracle Mars, Justin and Damiano, who was still slightly pale. Austin was also there, sitting on an examination table, also pale and looking exhausted, arms and side wrapped in bandages.

They were also surrounded by the stone statues that Madame Czar had, Colson also among them.

They noticed me walk in as Justin examined Damiano, who then stood up.

"Principessa...." Damiano said as he bowed to me, along with everyone else.

"There's no need for that...." I said, then sighed as I looked at Damiano and Austin. "How are you both feeling?"

Damiano gave a sad smile and shrugged. "Better.... Good news is, once the poison is flushed from our bodies, we can be turned back to a vampire, according to our High Priest Oracle and High Priestess. Same goes for the others exposed."

I sighed with relief. "That's good news.... What's the bad news?"

"Bad news is, it's gonna be back to the beginning for us. We'd have to learn self control and maintaining bloodlust all over again," Austin stated with a frown.

My eyes widen a little.

"Its not entirely a bad thing.... More like a bother in a way...." Damiano said. "We're back to being fledglings...."

"I'm so sorry....." I frowned.

"Per favore, non preoccuparti..." Damiano stated. "We'll managed just fine. Of course, until I have gained control, Victoria will be Governess of the Royale Council." (Please, don't worry....)

"We did hear your speech from the broadcast that Laura and Richard set up," Austin smiled. "You and Remington will be goid rulers."

I smiled bashfully as Remington held my hand.

"I may have got it..." Genevieve stated.

"Good, just like that.... Maria taught you well," High Priest Mars stated.

Genevieve smiled as she held a large flask of a strange green liquid.

"What is that?" I asked.

"If I mixed the ingredients right, its the reversal potion for our petrified friends here," Genevieve said, motioning to Colson's statue, who still held its sword as if ready to fight. "A crude potion, but it should do the trick to save them...."

"Crude?" I asked.

"The head of the Gorgon that petrified them is needed, your highness," High Priest Mars said, motioning to the stand nearby.

There was placed the blindfolded head of the Gorgon that Emerson had to battle before Captain Sixx took her down. That's when I noticed three of the serpents from her head were chopped off.

I gasped in horror as Remington held me close.

"Good riddance, I say," Emerson scoffed as Samuel and Chris walked in, followed by Alister.

"Emerson," Remington scolded, motioning to Genevieve.

"Its alright, my lord.... Jules was a bright witch when we were in the convent school....." Genevieve said, then sighed as she looked over at the Gorgon's head "Its just a shame that the obsession with fame and power lead to this for her....."

I frowned as I looked over, but then Genevieve shook her head as she compased herself.

"Right... Let's give this a try...." she said, walking over to Colson's statue.

I gulped as I watch Genevieve poor the liquid over both his head, then stepped back.

We waited a few seconds before suddenly a bright glow began to slowly crack underneath the statue.

My eyes widen as we took a step back, as then the glowing cracks grew and crumble, and before we knew it, the statues disintegrate and collapsed, revealing Colson, now in the flesh, who groaned and fell to the ground among the rubble, his sword clashing next to him.

We ruahed over to help them up, Colson being helped by Samuel and Emerson onto the examination bed that Austin moved aside to let him take.

Colson groaned and held his head as he laid back. "What happened....?" he said, then looked up and saw the Gorgon's head, his eyes widening in shock. "How did.... What....?"

"The important thing is that we won, my friend... And that you're back," Samuel smiled, patting his back before looking at the Priestess. "Thank you, Priestess.... And you as well, High Priest Mars.... I am forever in your debts...."

Genevieve and the High Priest smiled and nodded their heads.

Colson then saw Austin and frowned. "Austin... You look like hell.... W-What happened to you?"

Austin looked down sadly.

"Lieutenant, we'll explain everything to you soon. For now let's get you to the infirmary to rest," Emerson said, then ordered two nearby maids to come help Samuel and Austin take Colson.

Everyone else followed us out so that it was now just me and Remington with Genevieve and the High Priest.

I then looked around at the other petrified statues.

"I guess you have your work cut out for you," I said to Genevieve.

"The good thing is that the potion works," she smiled, but then frowned. "However, its not why I called you here...."

I furrowed my brows as she then put the flask down, and then High Priest Mars reached over and handed a small vial of familiar powder.

"Transport Powder?" I asked as she held it up.

"Your father's special blend. He gave me access to his alchemy spellbooks in order to make it. This is a very powerful powder that can work just like the normal one we use, but can also travel to other worlds, realms that are not easily accessed" she said. "Purgatory, Afterlife, Hell, even parallel universes, and most importantly..."

"Oblivion...." Remington added.

"Precisely," Genevieve said. "I figured we needed to make some for a certain trip you father requested on your behalf."

"What?" Remington asked, confused as he looked at me.

Then I realized what she meant and looked at Remington sadly.

"My mother's grave is in Oblivion...." I said. "My father and I promised to come back for her..... She should have the burial she deserves here, in Obsidian.... Her home...."

Remington's eyes widen, but then he pursed his lips and nodded in understanding.

"I'll send men out immediately with your father...." Remington said to me as Genevieve handed him the vial of powder.

I nodded as we shared a kiss before he hurried out of the room.

I pursed my lips and looked over at Genevieve before we hugged each other.

"Thank you...." I said.

"It is you I should thank...." She said as we pulled back. "You freed us, and bought peace back to this world...."

I smiled at her as she then took a step back and bowed to me.

"It would be an honor to serve our new queen...." she smiled.

"I'm nervous, I admit......." I said.

"You have no reason to doubt yourself, Princess....." High Priest Mars said. "You were destined to lead us well, and for years to come...."

I looked over and smiled.

I have hope...
