When we got to the parade, we were at the very back and I was just so taken with everything going around, the happiness and Pride on everyones faces and how they've come together and how rainbows are literally everywhere and everything was silent as a moment we were taking to remember those who gave their lives to the cause, I looked all around me and then I looked over and I saw Michael. I savoured this moment, it would probably the happiest I would ever feel but then we saw 'Gun Girl' there loudly proclaiming that she managed to make Pride all about her by insulting everyone and everything around her. I felt like punching her but she just wants attention and carries a gun and threatens to use it. I feel Michael tense up and his hand intertwined with mine, he looked like he was going to pummel her for ruining it, like he was going over to tell her to fuck off (which she deserved) but I couldn't allow him to get hurt, not after he took me away from that hell of a school and got me here, he'll never truly know how much this means to me. I turned him towards me and put my hands in his and let his eyes stare into mine and I said

"Thank you. You made this day less hellish. Let's walk forward." And lead him forward.

"Michael? It's getting late and I have to go home but this day was amazing" I tell him. He's been real nice and it's kinda confusing. He waves goodbye and I walk home. I didn't expect this at all and it's puzzling but it also makes me kinda happy. I wish this day was forever, I don't want to go to school tomorrow.
