A/N: I use the non-swear version of the swears but read it like they're actually the swears they mimic

{A time skip to a few weeks later. Michael and Virge have become good friends and hang out at school and walk to classes together and spend breaks together}

[Michael's POV]

My......crush? (I guess?) On Virge has only gotten stronger after all the amazing things I've learned about him. We both "speak" ASL and thoroughly enjoy it though in my school it doesn't come as a formal option so I just teach myself. The more time I spend with Virge the more I find myself telling jokes trying my hardest to make him laugh. His eyes just light up and it feels like everything is right with world, UGGHHH What's happening to me?? I used be the toughest guy in all of school not engaging in crushes or making a fool of myself or high school superficiality but here I am, willing to do anything to hear his laugh. I internally facepalmed. 

Virgil and I make our way to Science and sit down. He recently introduced me to his friend Logan and his other friend Patton. Logan likes to pretend he doesn't emotions but that's all absolute BS. Everytime Patton comes over and sits down with us he lets his façade slip for a minute revealing a show of happiness if not amused frustration before quickly correcting himself. Or when Patton starts complimenting him he immediately looks prouder of himself, his back straightens out even more and he adjusts his glasses. He definitely has a certain fondness for Patton regardless of whether he'd admit it. As I look over to him now in class he seems to be helping Patton understand Physics.

 As I look over to Virgil on my right he seems to be having a bit of a tough time. I already finished my work so I should try to help him.

"Virge do you need any help with that?" I asked semi-awkwardly

"Yes please." He murmured back barely audible. I went on explaining but I wasn't really focusing on Physics no, my gay ass was focused on the way that the sunlight from the class window caught Virge's eyes and you could see just how beautiful they looked and how usually you couldn't properly see his eyes but you could fully see them now. 

After I finished explaining, class was over so we got up and head to the lunchroom.  After we got our food we looked around and all the tables were completely full I scanned around the room, mostly all of the tables were full except one table with a boy and a few of his friends. The boy had faint red highlights in his hair that matched the princely jacket he wore of red and white with accents of gold. I recognize the boy, he's the one who constantly stares at Virge. Ugh. I sound like  that teen romance character, Edward Cullen. Unlike him, I do not consider Virgil my property or something to get weirdly possessive over. However, I am human and do experience petty human emotions such as jealousy which for some reason I arrogantly thought I was above. Logan brings me out of my thoughts when he says

"There seems to be a table enough seats for us over there." and pointed to where the boy with the princely jacket. I noted the uncomfortable look on Virgil's face as we took a seat on the table. The boy was just waving goodbye to his other friends and he introduced himself to us

"Hey! I'm Roman Robertson! What are all your names?"

We each took a turn to introduce ourselves

"I am Logan Aldrich."     

"I'm Patton Elario."   

"I'm Michael Castacht"    

"You can call me Virge" 

"Nice to meet you g-guys. Unfortunately I must go but I shall meet you here in the same spot     to-tomorrow" He waved goodbye and left. Roman. He seemed pretty confident before we cam over and yet he stuttered. Strange. And his eyes kept flickering over to Virgil. Could he possibly? No..That's not possible...He couldn't have felt a mating bond?.........No........Those are absolute BS anyways...maybe...

I have absolutely no update schedule whatsoever and I apologize. Just gonna give an explanation for a few things: I hadn't planned on originally making mating bonds a thing but I don't know, if they do become a thing they will work like Fae mating bonds/like the ones in ACOTAR if you've read it

Logan Aldrich: Aldrich, meaning wise or smart.

Patton Elario: Elario, meaning joyful or happy most widely emotion.

Michael Castacht: Castacht, meaning complex or complexity.

Roman Robertson: Robertson, often a name that indicates a royal heritage of some kind.
