a/n - requests

howdy fellas so i talked about this in my rant book but nobody reads that so

i noticed my first oneshot currently has 20 reads (as im writing this - on october 31, probably won't be published for months though) but then the views lower a lot and the second one only has 8 and like they keep getting lower and lower

anyways i dont expect to get hundreds and thousands of reads obviously like i only have 10 followers right now but anyways it seems people stopped reading after the first oneshot and i was wondering why

do people not like my writing style? are the oneshots too similar? are they too long? are they boring? are they too unoriginal? are they too unrealistic? etc

i know the first one is really cliche and popular but that was written when i really wanted to just get this book started and start writing so i just took a pretty basic one and wrote it to get the story started

i feel like people will find a lot of my oneshots pretty popular and cliche but i do get a lot of ideas from instagram posts and other oneshots so yeah & i try to make them more realistic like something that would actually happen in real life but idk it's probably not working lmao

anyways in conclusion let me know if there's anything you think i could do to improve my oneshots & if you have some ideas/requests then feel free to comment them here

ALSO ONE MORE THING
i wanna start making my oneshots neater and better overall and my authors notes on each chapter annoy the fuck out of me bc theyre so long and unorganized and nobody even reads them anyway but I always have stuff I wanna talk about so I'll probably try to stop making them as long and irrelevant lol

-as im publishing this the story has 130 reads so 40 more and I'll post the next oneshot :)

another thing, im really not doing this whole goal thing for more reads like im not writing this story for the reads, i made this story so i could write oneshots how ive always wanted them written so it's not about the reads for me but I've tried a few different uploading techniques and this one works the best for me !

this helps me because i set a certain goal depending how quickly the story is gaining viewers & it gives me some time to write and not worry about it basically

like for example right now, i have a few oneshots written and ready to be published as time goes on but I actually haven't had inspiration to write in over a month, so by setting this type of schedule, it's giving me time to take a break & hopefully gain inspiration again while still giving out some content (I guess that's what you'd call it?) if that makes sense so yeah :)
