She knew something was up. Her band mates, who were usually over-excited and always looked her in the eye, avoided topics such as love, breakup and get back together's. They also avoided Taylor's glance and were quick to bring the topics to music or movies.

'See you tomorrow guys!' she waved to the far off bandmates, her smile being returned, but no one said anything about a day in the future.

She skipped into the dressing room, her blue dress flowing around her like waves in the ocean. Her mom hadn't been wrong saying this dress was perfect for her.

Humming some song she heard on the radio that morning, she removed the sweat with a wet cloth. She applied her normal make up again; cat-eye and signature red lipstick.

Grabbing her purse and phone, she walked out of the small, purple room. She texted her boyfriend, Harry. "Where are you?" but she hadn't gotten a reply, while usually, he answered quickly.

That didn't send her thinking though; he probably was recording or doing something along those lines.

She walked down the long hallway towards the entrance. She reached the door and stretched her hand towards the handle when a voice interrupted her.

'Going somewhere?' she turned around bewildered.

There he was; her boyfriend at the other side of the hallway.

'Harry?' she whispered, barely audible, before speaking at again, this time a bit louder. 'Harry!'

She started walking, jogging and then running as fast as she could.

'Harry!' she fell into his arms, wrapping hers around his neck. Her face was buried into his shoulder, his arms wrapped themselves around her.

'Hey there love,' he spoke softly, flashing his cheeky smile and cute dimples. He placed a kiss atop of Taylor's blonde head.

'But - but –' she stuttered. She had known he was in the States, but she also knew he was not in Nashville where she was. Unable to grasp the fact he really was there, tears leaked out of her eyes.

'Hey,' he said, surprised by the salty tears. 'Hey, shh, it's alright, don't cry baby.'

'But you said you were in Washington yesterday!'

'I was. I flew in this morning; I wanted to surprise you.'

'What'd I ever do to get you?' she looked up at him, teary eyed. Standing on her tippy toes, she kissed his cheek, before pressing her hands to her eyes, pushing the last few tears out.

'Simple. Flashing your beautiful smile, your eyes shining –' she pressed her hand over his mouth.

'Just shut up and kiss me.'

'Gladly.'

And there they were, kissing in the empty hallway, not caring about who saw them.

All they cared about was each other that moment.
