Obi was never like this.
Obi was sweet, caring, and nice. He would never be cold to you, even during a giant fight like this one. Obi would always calm the both of you down, and you would apologize for starting the fight. This time, however, you weren't the cause.
"Just go away!" Obi yelled, pushing you to the ground. You furrowed your eyebrows, tilting your head to the side. "What did I even do, Obi? What is wrong? Tell me!" You stood up, grabbing his collar and pushing him to a tree.
"Tch..." He rolled his eyes.
"The Obi I know isn't this cold. The Obi I know is sweet, charming, brave, and amazing! The Obi I know would never start a fight like this. The Obi I know would never blame me for something that I didn't even take part of. Obi, I would never ever try to hurt your precious Shirayuki!" You yelled. You knew that guards in the distance could hear your yelling, but you couldn't care less.
"Obi, we all care about Shirayuki. You can't blame others though when they haven't done anything!" You felt tears stream down your eyes. "Please, Obi." He stared back at you with cold eyes.
"Get off." He whispered. You jumped back, furrowing your eyebrows.
"I thought you were my fate, Obi. You're not like this!" You angrily stated. A harsh wind had passed he both of you, and it blocked your vision of Obi.
"Well maybe there was never a string!" He yelled back. You faked a smile, and laughed lowly.
"You know what? You were right. There really never was a string between us. How could I have been so delusional?" You shrugged your right arm and turned away, walking towards the castle. You wanted to look back, but you didn't.
Everyone gave you confused stares as they saw you furious, but you couldn't care. You were done with him. You couldn't understand why you ever fell in love with him.
You were completely done with him.
You stood up wandering around your room, thinking about what you were going to do. You wanted to leave this place so bad to cool your mind off of things.
You wrote a small letter to Obi and walked to the herb garden, trying to find the right flowers. "A yellow carnation will do, right?" You smiled sadly, picking the flower from the ground.
You jumped from one tree to another and gathered your things while making your bed. "I don't know how long I'll be gone... Who knows, maybe I won't come back." You mumbled.
You walked quietly to Obis room and placed the letter and flower at the end of his bed. Just as you turned around, you felt a hand grab your arm tightly. "Stop, what do you think you're doing?" He asked harshly. You turned around and hit his arm with a hard force. He let go and you took this chance to run away.
"No!" He yelled, but it was to late. You jumped from the balcony and headed out, running to the grand exit of the castle. Obi got up and tried to chase after you, but you were out of sight.
He sighed and headed back to his room as he read the note aloud.
"I apologize deeply for causing you, Zen, Mitsuhide, Kiki, and Shirayuki so much trouble. I had so much fun with you, and I am glad that I was able to call you my partner.
This is our farewell, Obi. May your beautiful string with Shirayuki stay everlasting. I am glad I fell in love with you, Obi. Bye."
