New Update

(((((Okay, so really quick, if you enjoy this story, try reading my Bloody Painter x Mariah story. Please? I would be forever happy if you do. I've been updating forever, and guess what, no nothing! Votes, comments, or reads. It's kinda sad, really! Do me a favor and read that sory too, or maybe even my Legend of Tinderwood story. They are both in the same format as this one, but if you are truly devoted to the Marble Hornets timeline, don't read the Legend of Tinderwood story. I wrote it before I ever watched Marble Hornets, so the timeline is off by a bunch. But either way it is a good story!)))))

(Masky)

"Wait what?!?," I yell at Slenderman, having just eavesdropped on his phone conversation with another phone in the house. "Masky be quiet, (y/n)'s still on the phone!," he yelled back. "SHE'S STILL ON THE PHONE?!? (Y/N), OH MY ZALGO ARE YOU OKAY?!?"

There was silence on the phone for a few minutes, until she finally answered, "...Masky? Is that you?" "Yes, it's me! Are you okay? Are you in any danger?" "I'm fine," she laughed, her voice cracking a bit, "I'm so happy to know you're okay!" Don't cry," Slenderman said on his line of the phone, "All you need to do is go through the pond again to come back to us." "I can't, it disappeared," she saids quietly, sobbing a bit. "I miss you guys so much but I can't come back."

The deep sound of static came from Slenderman's end of the phone, making me confused. "Slenderman," I asked, "are you okay there?" "The pond isn't in the backyard anymore," he growled, the static growing louder, "It must have moved, since the two realities are coming together. We need to figure out the point where the realities are crossing, and fast!" Someone hung up, and me and Slenderman asked at the same time, "Who hung up?" That one question made me realize that it was probably (y/n) who hung up. "She probably just went to try finding the pond, or maybe her phone died," Slenderman said, "She's fine, Masky." "We are in the same room, you know," I tell him, "Why are we still talking on the phone?"

Slenderman hung up, pushing me out of the room with his tentacle. "Wait Slender I can help you locate the pond," I say to the door as he closes it in my face. "How? You don't know even the simplist rules of inter-dimensional occurances OR the rules of alternate realities!," he growls through the door. "No, but I've been with (y/n) almost all of her life. If the realities were merging, wouldn't the pond latch on to a place significant to both of her realities?," I ask, hating how what I said came out sounding smart. Slenderman stayed silent for a minute, finally opening the door slowly. "You might actually be right," he said, his blank face staring at me. "Come on in, then, but go get Ben. He's the one who can effectively go to the other reality without the pond."

I nod, rushing down the hall yelling Ben's name until I finally found him in the livingroom playing video games. Of course. "Ben, Slenderman needs to talk to you really quick," I tell him. He looked at me over his shoulder, saying, "Why? Can't you see I'm busy?" I growled, picking him up by the colar of his tunic and carrying him back to the room Slenderman was in. When I walked in, Slenderman closed the door in a hurry, quickly going back to the weird system thing he had been at. I was trying my best not to laugh, mainly because of the huge goggles he had on his face. He pushed them up to rest on his head, saying, "Masky, since you know (y/n) best, you will give Ben and I ideas of important places to (y/n). I will teleport to that area, and Ben will provide me the ability to teleport to the other reality to see. Understand?"

I nod, but Ben tries running away. "LAST TIME I DID THAT, I NEARLY CRASHED MY ENERGY SUPPLY! I'M NOT DOING THAT AGAIN!" Slenderman sat Ben down on a chair, strapping him down. "You'll be connected to an energy supply, so your energy can't run out," he tells Ben, who then calms down a bit.

"We start.......now," Slenderman says, flipping a switch.

(You)

You stare at the empty lot, letting out a sigh. Masky's house would have been the only place you would have guessed. You sit down on the grass, clutching it tightly. "I just want to see Masky again," you say, letting go of the grass and hugging yourself. And then the thought occurred to you that maybe it as where you and Masky had first met! Your eyes widen, overjoyed with the idea. Of course, why didn't you think of it before! You get up, quickly running off of the empty lot and down the road.
