Heading Off to Creepycon
You waited for the splat.
And waited.
And waited.
And waited.
After about a minute of waiting, you slowly open your eyes, seeing yourself infront of a wooden door. Looking at the door then at the building it was attached to, you see that it was the mansion, whatever remained of it burnt and being repaired.
The wind girl grabbed your arm, her hand freezing cold. "C'mon," she said quietly, "Steven's waiting to talk to you." You look down at yourself, feeling a blush rise on your cheeks. You still only had a blanket on. "I got that covered," she said, pulling you through the now open door.
You clutched the blanket to yourself tightly, shivering at how cold the inside of the mansion was. Hoodie popped up out of nowhere, making you jump in surprise as he yelled, "(Y/N), IT'S BEEN SO LONG!" He ran up to you and hugged you tightly, and you feel your blush deepen.
"H-hoodie," you stammer, embarassed, "I-I'm kinda naked here...." He nods and lets go, turning away and shiuting, "I need those clothes in here, scat!" A pile of clothes gets flung around a corner, and slams into Hoodie with a smack. He stumbles backwards and runs into the wall, hitting the wall as well. "Hoodie," you say, looking down at him as he slid to the floor, "How are you alive? Masky killed you!"
"Well I'm Slenderman's proxy in reality, remember? So I have a one month regeneration period. If I die, I regenerate within a month," he explained, smiling up at you as he handed you the clothes. You grab them from him, almost dropping them when you realize they were extremely heavy. "What's in here," you ask him, "bricks?!?"
He nodded and rolled his eyes, growling a bit. "Nothing has a habit of trying to kill me," he muttered, growling more. "So he threw the clothes at me with a brick in them."
There was a knock on the door, and suddenly a girl with purple hair and purple eyes speeds past you, who looked no older than ten. She flung the door open looking excited, tackling whoever was knocking. You watch with curiosity, seeing the purple haired girl pinning down an average-looking human boy. The girl had on a blue tee with a black leather jacket stopping beneath her small breasts, and striped black-and-blue stockings up past her knees ending where the bottom of a frilly black skirt began.
Hoodie grabs your arm and drags you away from the scene, explaining, "That's Steven's daughter, and the guy you saw was her 'employee,' Scout." "Steven has a daughter?" you say in shock, not believing that someone like him could have a daughter. He was such....such a con-man kind of guy. Hoodie nods, and you ask, "So who's the girl that looks like a walking storm cloud?" You look over your shoulder and see her following you with a scowl on her face, and you flinch a bit. Crap, you think, she heard me!
She rolls her stormy grey eyes, stopping in her tracks as Hoodie mumbles, "That's Hurricane. She came in here not too long after the war. Steven let her stay because, well, she's Rivereene's sister." You nod as if you understand, when in reality you were still clueless. Hoodie led you through the familiar halls, all the way to the door you recognized as Steven's office door.
Hoodie knocked once before opening the door, holding it open for you to enter. You trot in slowly, looking around the familiar office. Steven was at his desk on the phone again, rubbing his forehead as the person on the other end babbled on and on. Once the other person stopped, Steven grumbled into the phone, "Look, you have the wrong number. This isn't a lingerie company, I don't know how you mistook this number for one of that sort." You smile, laughing a bit and causing Steven to look up at you.
He rolled his eyes and spun his chair around, continuing to talk through the phone. You inch closer, listening in on the conversation when the purple-haired girl bounced into the room, yelling, "Daddy, I'm going over to visit the Creepy-" Steven slammed the phone down suddenly and cut off Jinx's words, displaying an anger that wasn't there a second ago.
"Jinx," he growled, glancing at her over his shoulder, "why would you think I'd let you do that? We're in the middle of a war with them, you're not going over there!" Jinx cowered back a bit, seemingly shocked as if her father never yelled at her. "I-I was gonna say the Creepycon," she stammered, "One of my Squirrels were gonna meet me there...." You stare at Steven, wondering what his reaction would be this time. Hr growled and pulled at his foxy red hair, muttering, "Fine, but I better not have to send Hurricane or Rivereene after you again."
Jinx nodded, turning around when a wolf cub ran into the room and tackled her to the ground. "Get that thing off if her," Steven growled at Hoodie. He simply nodded, prying the wolf cub off of Jinx. You hold out your hand for her to take, and she shook her head, pushing herself to her feet. She crouched down a bit and patted her knees, saying, "C'mere, Kusko!"
The wolf cub squirmmed out of Hoodie's grasp, running over to Jinx. She picked up the wolf pup in her tiny arms, saying, "I'll see you later, dad. Kusko can watch me." Steven muttered under his breath, watching Jinx leave the room and waiting for her to get out of sight before he said to Hoodie, "Follow her and make sure she doesn't see you. Keep an eye on her." He nodded, and you pipe up with a small, "I'll go with too! It's the Creepycon, right? The Creepypasta are bound to attend!"
Steven nods in agreement. "Both of you go. I'm sending Hurricane and Rivereene with you too. The more of you there are, the less of a chance any Creepypasta will try and ambush you." You and Hoodie both nod, turning away from Steven and quietly following Jinx out of the mansion. (((((You Squirrels have no IDEA how hard it is to write about my O.C. Jinx from YOUR point of view!!! MY HEAD HURTS :'( I really really REAAAAALLY hope you Squirrels enjoy this, it's giving me a headache!)))))
Jinx leaves the mansion, hopping on a moped you didn't see before and revving the engine. You look at Hoodie, whispering, "How do we follow her now?" He nudged you to the right, bumping you into Hurricane. "You've flown with her before, so go ahead and go with her. I have my own ride. Jinx won't be suspicious of me going, because I was a Creepypasta and as far as the general public's concerned I still am. I'm expected to be there." You turn around and stare at Hurricane, who was now hovering a few feet in the air, her black hair waving in an invisible breeze.
"Hi," you say quietly, suddenly feeling nervous. Last time, she dropped you and let you fall. What exactly happened after you hit the ground, though? You closed your eyes as you hit the street, and then you open them to be in front of the mansion. A portal? Transportation? How?!? As if reading your mind, Hurricane grabbed your head and pointed it towards the ground for you to see a manhole cover. Oh, a sewer system. That makes much more sense now. "You passed out from terror and you woke up when we got here," Hurricane said, looking at you in amusement, "There was nothing magical or mythical about it."
She grabs the back of your shirt, lifting you up a bit and saying, "I won't drop you this time, I swear." Being the weird one, you check both of her hands to see if she had any fingers crossed. She didn't. You nod, letting her know she was able to take off. And she did.
