Blood is Thicker Than Water; But Water Floods Faster Than Blood

(You)
You follow Hoodie cautiously, not sure whether to trust him or not after all the crap he ever did to you. Should you really trust him? Yes. You wanted to kill Mike and Kara for what they did to you. After a few more minutes of walking, you reach a house. It was all too familiar with you. The cracked windows, the peeling paint on the shutters, even the dead grass littering the front lawn. A shiver ran down your spine, all the dread and bad memories from before rushing back to you like piranhas to the blood of your happy thoughts. Like savage lions ripping into a gazelle.

Hoodie snapped his fingers, jerking you from your train of similes with your metaphor of a cabuse in the end. "You okay?" he asks you, looking slightly concerned. You nod at him quickly, hearing a crash come from inside the house.followed by the loud yelling of two people you immediately recognized as Mike and Kara. Growling loudly, disgusted to see the two of them arguing without you, you stomped up to the house, slamming your fist against the glass door to the back. Everything goes silent, making you freeze. What the hell were you supposed to do now? Hoodie nudged your shoulder, handing you a knife.

"Go kill 'em, Rage," he chuckled, watching as you take the knife away from him as if it was a deadly animal ready to rip you to pieces. (((((Man, me and similes today! I'M ON A ROLL!!!))))) Grasping it tightly so you wouldn't stab yourself, you slip it into the pocket of your hoodie, slamming your fist against the door again. You glance up, seeing the curtains to the room that used to be yours fling closed quickly. Odd. Did they have another child here?

The door flings open, Mike standing in front of youwith a bottle of wine in hand. "What do you want?" he asked you, his voice slurred and stammering, "We don't want any fucking girl scout cookies." You smirk under your hood, thinking, Blood is thicker than water.

~DE LA TIME SKIP, PAST THE BLOODY SCENE!!!~

The freedom was intoxicating, the metallic smell of the blood splattering over you and running down your face. Even though you just caused someone to die, you've never felt more alive. You felt free, like nothing could stop you. As you pulled the knife out of Kara and swung it around to hand back to Hoodie, he whispers quietly, "No thanks, you can go ahead and keep that one. I have another one back at the mansion." You nod, stuffing the knife back into your pocket and skipping to the kitchen with a smile on your face.

You start humming to yourself, the effort stinging your throat, but you didn't mind. You were in too good of a mood to notice it. Turning the kitchen sink on full blast, you let out a small chuckle. "Hey," Hoodie called from the living room, "You forgot one small detail here." Frowning a bit, you walked back into the living room, seeing a young girl with brown hair and blue eyes.

Scars, bruises, and cuts covered every viewable part of her skin that you could see, and you thought it was a wonder she wasn't crying. I mean geez, it looked painful. Very painful. "(y/n)," Hoodie said, explaining, "This is Jordan. She's the foster kid of Mike and Kara." WAS the foster kid, I corrected him, rolling my eyes. Jordan backed away a bit, looking petrified as she clutched her teddy bear. She didn't look any older than nine. Man, they got you worse then they ever got me, you say, looking Jordan over.

"Y-you had them as foster parents?" she asked, looking curious. You shake you head and laugh a bit, saying, No, not in this reality anyways. You stop you little speech before it even began, feeling something soak you feet. Looking down slowly, you see water spreading over the floor; you forgot about the sink. Rushing in, you see that the sink was overflowing. as was the kitchen floor, and the dining room. And, of course, the living room as well. Panicking a bit, you lunge for the handle to shut the water off; Hoodie holds you back, whispering, "Leave it. The water will get rid of any evidence. Rivereene will make sure of it."

Who the hell is Rivereene? you ask, having never heard that name before. (((((Rivereene is pronounced River-een. Okay, Squirrels?)))))"Someone in the league," he growls, rolling his eyes. "Now are you gonna take care of 'Jordan', or are you going to let her go?" You growl back at Hoodie, saying, We're taking her with us. No way in hell am I going to leave her without anyone to take care of her. I'm never going to be that coldhearted. Hoodie nodded, seeming to understand your words. You nod back, walking towards Jordan and saying, I know you may be scared of me, scared of what I did to Kara and Mike, but don't worry. You're safe from them now, Jordan. She nods, understanding as well. You stared into her bright blue eyes, noticing them flicker to a hazel color for a second.

You tilt your head to the side, and she says quickly, "My eyes change color depending on my mood. Let me guess, the changed hazel?" You nod, and she continues, "Yeah. Hazel for me means happy. Blue means scared or worried. and green means angry." Smiling at her, you say, I wish that MY eyes did that.

Hoodie nudges you shoulder, and you hear the phone ringing. Walking over and putting it on speaker, you hear Steven's panicked voice on the other end. "(y/n), Hoodie, get back to the mansion!" His voice was no more than a whisper, the two of you barely able to hear it as he continued, "They came. I thought they were joking, but they came. They're all outside, every single one of them!" "What are you talking about?" Hoodie asks, sounding as worried as you felt. "The Creepypasta," Steven said, panting in a panicked tone, "They're getting ready to attack the mansion."

A crashing sound eurupts from Steven's end of the phone, and you hear him scream, "OH GOD, THEY SET US ON FIRE! HOODIE, (Y/N), GET BACK HERE NOW!" You hang up the phone and rush out of the door, Jordan and Hoodie close behind you. About a mile into the woods, you saw it. The faint glow of flickering flames. And below the raging flames, the dim outline of the once beautiful mansion. Surrounding the mansion were the Creepypasta, as you could tell. But there wasn't a Nightmare in sight. Which meant they were all in the mansion still.
