Brain had forced Wendy into reviving Jellal, and Natsu and Charle had finally arrived to recuse the three. But when Natsu and Charle came into the cave, they were met with Jellal, piercingly staring back at them.

"I'm so sorry... I..." Wendy apologized, tears running down her face.

"Jellal..." Natsu whispered.

"I'm so... sorry... I owe this man... A huge debt..." Wendy said, trying to wipe away her tears.

"WENDY!! DID YOU USE YOUR HEALING MAGIC?!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!!" Charle scolded. "IF YOU USE THAT POWER RECKLESSLY..." That moment, Wendy collapsed to the ground.

"Wh... What are you doing here...?!" Natsu thought back to all the times Jellal had caused his friends misery. He clenched his teeth, and ran at him at full force with his hand ablaze. "JELLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!"

Jellal stared carelessly at him, and fired back with his own attack.

"AAAAAGGHHH!!" Natsu yelled as he was thrown into the cave wall.

"NATSU!!!" The exceeds yelled worriedly.

Brain stood behind Jellal in awe. "I see your power is as impressive as ever... Jellal."

Jellal looked back at the leader of the Oracion Seis. Brain's eyes widen as he too was attacked by Jellal. "WHAT...?!!"

Jellal stared carelessly at everyone else in the cave, then left. Natsu burst out of the rocks he was buried under. "JELLAL!!! WHERE IS HE?!!!"

"He left," Charle informed.

"WHY, THAT LITTLE.....!!!!"

"NATSU-BAKA!!!" Natsu and the other exceed turned to the shouting voice. Katelyn was standing there in her battle form, her hair cover her eyes. "Is fighting really all that goes through your damn mind? I thought you came here to rescue us... NOT RUN OFF TO FIGHT WHOEVER YOU SEE FIRST!!!"

Natsu glared at the ground, and shook in place. Happy and Charle stared at Katelyn in shock and amazement.

"DO YOU WANT TO SAVE KAI AND ERZA, OR NOT??!!!" Katelyn yelled.

"ALL RIGHT, FINE!!" Natsu shouted in response. "That guy... LET'S GO HAPPY!!!!"

"AYE, SIR!!!!"

Happy sprouted his wings, and carried Natsu out of the cave. Charle followed, and carried Wendy out. Katelyn came out last, still in her battle form, flying after Happy and Charle. They flew over where Gray and Racer were having their own battle.

"Hm?" Racer looked up to see the three flying figures.

"They got her!!!" Gray exclaimed.

"IMPOSSIBLE!!! Brain was inside there, wasn't he?!! How did they...?!!" Racer yelled in frustration. "UGH!! YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY!!!" Racer sprinted up a mountain side, and kicked Natsu, Charle, and Katelyn down. Natsu dived, and caught Wendy just before she crashed to the ground. Katelyn had managed to catch Happy and Charle as well. They both started to sprint away, but Racer sped towards them.

"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU, YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!!" Racer yelled.

"Ice Make..." Gray started as he got his hands ready. "RAMPART!!!" A massive ice wall caused Racer to crash face first into it.

"Gray..."

"Go on ahead..." Gray said, out of breath. "Like I said, I'm gonna handle this guy."

"But... Surely you used up all your magic power making this wall..." Katelyn stated.

"I'LL STOP THIS GUY EVEN IF I DIE IN THE ATTEMPT!!! NOW GO!!! ERZA AND KAI ARE WAITING!!!" Gray yelled.

Natsu clenched his teeth, not liking being saved by Gray. Then, he and Katelyn started to sprint towards where Erza and Kai were. "WE'LL SAVE THEM, NO MATTER WHAT!!!"

Gray smirked. "Damn right you will."

Kai opened her eyes to see herself in a pitch black room. "Where the hell am I?"

A low growl was heard from behind her. Kai swiftly turned around to see a tall wolf-like creature towering over her, its red eyes glowing in the darkness. She stumbled back, almost tripping over her own feet.

"Your sister would smack you over head if she heard that," the creature said in a low, gravely voice.

"Y-yeah she would- Wait... h-how do you k-know that...?" Kai stuttered.

The creature chuckled, revealing its razor sharp teeth. "I am sealed in you. I would think that I would know about you."

Kai had confusion written all over her face. "W-Wha...?"

"Do I have to spell this out for you? I was the demon sealed inside you all that time ago," the creature explained.

"H-How is that possible...?"

"I don't know."

Kai sweatdropped. "Wow... Thanks... So are you why I have these wolf ears and tail?"

The creature growled. "Don't you DARE associate me with those horrid creatures! I am NOT a wolf!"

"Okay... Jeez... Then what are you...?" Kai asked.

"I am a Yoru Ookami. I'm much more advanced than a normal, mortal wolf."

Kai deadpanned. "Uh huh... So, you have a name?"

"Lycan, but right now, there's a much more important matter at hand. You know Void Essence?"

"Yeah... It's what Soul infected me with... Why?"

"Well, if the others can't get Wendy to heal you in time..." Lycan paused. "Both of us will be sucked into the Void."

"So, we can't do anything about it?" Kai asked.

"Nope. We can only sit, and wait."
