Tenrou Island: Rest Place

"WHAT!!?"

After the mages of Fairy Tail have passed their first challenge, the S-class and the people who lost their first fight were resting in the guild's tent. The remaining pairs were now on the hunt for Fairy Tail's first master, Mavis Vermillion's grave. Erza was wearing an apron, making a stew for the mages around her while Kai, Juvia, and Lisanna were sitting at the table. Mira was informing everyone there about the interesting things she was told during her fight.

"ELFMAN AND EVERGREEN ARE GETTING MARRIED?!" Erza yelled.

"Is what they said to surprise me, and then hit me hard," Mira said, sheepishly holding her hand to her face.

"WAIT A MINUTE!!! WHEN'S THE CEREMONY?! AND WHEN DID THEY BECOME A COUPLE?!" Erza exclaimed, pointing at Mira with her ladle.

"Yeah... Doesn't Evergreen despise anyone that doesn't meet her standards.... Plus Erza-nee...?" Kai added. She rested her head in her palm with a bored look on her face. With Katelyn surveying the exam from above by Makarov's orders and Wendy was nowhere to be found, Kai had nothing to do. Although she was slightly worried for Wendy, still being suspicious about Mest.

"Mmm... It was probably just a plan in order to shake me up. I still need more practice too, I guess," Mira mumbled the last part.

"WAS IT REALLY A PLAN?!" Era questioned, still pointing with her ladle.

"I don't really think... there could be anything between them," Mira stated. "Yeah, I mean if they got married and had a kid..." Mira imagined a baby with Elfman's head with Evergreen's long hair and glasses. She hid her face in her hands at the thought.

"Don't cry, Mira. Depending on how you think about it, it could be cute," Erza smirked.

Meanwhile, Kai was getting lost in her own thoughts. She knew Freed and Bixlow had gone back to the guild with Gildarts, but Mest and Wendy still haven't shown up. She hoped Katelyn had found them wandering around the island somewhere.

'You okay pup? It seems like you need someone to talk to right about now.'

'How could you tell?'

'I dunno... maybe it's the fact that I can hear your thoughts.'

'Oh... Right...'

'You worried for your little girlfriend?'

'Yeah, I am- Wait WHAT?! Wendy's NOT my girlfriend!'

'Yeah sure. You're worried nonetheless though, right?'

'Yeah... I never trusted that Mest guy...'

'Me neither, his scent isn't familiar.'

'What if something bad happened? Wendy alone with that guy and he-'

'Calm down. I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides, Katelyn is surveying the island isn't she?'

'Yeah... I guess...'

'Good. Now snap out of it, your sister is calling you.'

"Kai? Kai!"

Kai was shaken out of her thoughts by the loud voice. She looked up to see Era and Juvia have stood up, and Erza back in her normal armour.

"What's happening?" Kai asked, standing up as well.

"Juvia and Erza are going out to look for Wendy and Mest and wanted to know if you wanted to come, too?" Juvia spoke in her normal third person.

"Of course I'll come with!" Kai exclaimed. "I'll call Katelyn down as well. Maybe she's seen them."

"Good idea. Kai, you search one part of the island with Katelyn while me and Juvia search the other. Mira, Lisanna, you stay here in case they come back," Erza instructed. Everyone nodded and headed their own ways.

Meanwhile

A huge flying ship emerged from the clouds. This huge flying ship belonged to the infamous dark guild, Grimoire Heart.

"So the time has finally come. The day when the legendary black mage, Zeref, comes back to life," Hades spoke. The tall, white haired man wearing a cape covering his body and a helmet with horns protruding from the top was the master of the guild. "And the keys are all within the palm of my hand. We will awaken that which is inside Zeref."

"However, there is one problem," Ultear said. The woman had long dark hair tied in twin tails. "The strongest guild in all of Fiore. Fairy Tail. One of the guilds who destroyed a corner of the Balam Alliance. Fairy Tail currently has its main members  concentrated on this island."

"SOOOO WHAT?!! That doesn't mean anything!!!" Zancrow, a man with wild blonde hair and crazed red eyes, exclaimed. "I'll just.... TURN EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM INTO A PILE OF ASH! UHAHAHAHAHA!!"

"We should not underestimate our enemies," Caprico stated. He was a tall white goat wearing shades and a suit that showed his lower torso. "I was born for this day."

"I.......IIIIIIIII......"

"Release..."

"IIIIIII... uueh...."

"Our desire... This will become the main war-power for our guild," Rustyrose stated dramatically. "Tremble at our fragments..."

"I...I... IFEELTHESAME," Kain exclaimed quickly.

"You're talking too fast!!" Zancrow stated.

"Translation: 'I feel the same.'" A girl with pink hair said.

"Can you fight Meldy?" Ultear asked  the young girl.

"Fight... Yes," Meldy muttered.

"Interesting..." A girl's voice echoed through the ship.

"Doesn't this sound interesting...?" A guy's voice questioned back. Two figures of the same height jumped down from the ceiling.

"Camus... Sheena... Lovely for you two to finally join us," Hades smirked.

"We wouldn't miss it for the world..." Camus replied. The 16 year old boy had messy, dirty blonde hair and stormy grey eyes. He wore a navy blue mage robe with gold highlights, black pants, and dark brown combat boots.

"Taking down a group of fairies is a one in a lifetime opportunity," Sheena added. The younger twin sister of Camus had long, platinum blonde hair, and bluish grey eyes. She wore a white leather shirt with a gold breastplate and shoulder pads on top, dark blue leggings, and brown combat boots.

"Of course... The fairies still dont know what true darkness is," Hades stated. "The absolute darkness that lurks in the abyss. Tonight demons and fairies will frolic. Eat and be proud, or be eaten and scatter. This is the decisive battle, Fairy Tail."
