After finding Katelyn and calling her down, Kai was searching through the island for her blue haired friend.

"Are you sure you haven't seen Mest or Wendy?" Kai asked for the umpteenth time.

"Yes, I'm sure. I would've told you if I've seen them," Katelyn replied, slashing through the leaves with her spear. "We'll find them, calm down."

"HOW CAN I BE CALM WHEN-" Kai was cut off when they saw a huge red flare being shot off in the distance.

"ALL GUILD MEMBERS PREPARE FOR BATTLE!!!! CONDITION RED!!!! ENTER A BATTLE FORMATION!!!"

"What? I've been checking the perimeter of the island the whole time, how did anyone get in?" Katelyn gasped.

"Who cares how they got in! We need to find Wendy before anything bad happens!" Kai exclaimed, summoning one of her swords.

"Kai wait!" Katelyn yelled, chasing Kai through the layers of trees.

Kai slashed through the branches to clear a path as she ran. She paid no attention to Katelyn yelling for her.

'Pup, I know your worried for your girlfriend, but have some common sense here.'

'First of all, I do have common sense. Second of all, stop calling Wendy my girlfriend!'

'Stop denying it!'

'Shut up!'

Kai quickly ended her conversation with Lycan and began focusing on the situation at hand. She suddenly stopped running, causing Katelyn to run into her back.

"Why did we-" Kai covered Katelyn's mouth with her hand, signaling her to be quiet. Both of their ears slightly twitched to the right. Kai and Katelyn strafed in opposite directions as they dodged an arrow coming from the trees.

Once the coast was clear, the two stepped back out. Katelyn cautiously stepped closer to the strange, glowing, blue arrow.

"What's this made out of..?" Katelyn questioned. "It's almost like... light..."

"You are completely right..." A feminine voice said. The duo heard someone jump down onto the forrest floor. They turned to the direction of the noise and saw a girl with platinum blonde hair and gold armor.  Her guild mark could be seen on the back of her left hand.

"Grimiore Heart..." Kai mumbled, narrowing her eyes at the mystery girl.

"Don't think I can't hear you, demon holder," The girl sneered. Kai flinched at the girl's glare, causing her to smirk. "But yes, we're part of the imfamous Grimiore Heart."

"We?" Katelyn questioned, tightening her grip on her spear. Another figure dropped down next to the mystery girl.

"Hope you didn't think about starring a fight without me, Sheena," The boy said. He was slightly taller than Sheena, but had roughly the same color hair and eyes as her.

"Of course not, Camus. After all, a 1 on 2 fight hardly seems fair," Sheena smirked.

"Why are you here?!" Kai demanded, raising her sword.

"Oh, you haven't heard?" Camus started.

"The great and powerful Zeref resides on this island," Sheena continued.

"And out dear Master Hades wants him for himself," The two ended simultaneously.

"Zeref..." Kai mumbled, remembering one of his demons is sealed inside of her. "I don't care what horrible plans Hades has in store for Zeref, but we're not gonna let you get away with them!"

The twins smirked. "We'll see about that...."

Sheena swiftly summoned a bow, and pulled back, a string and arrow of blue light appearing. "Light Demon: Arrow!"

The same arrow from before shot in Kai's direction. Kai expertly sliced the arrow in half with her sword, the pieces hitting the ground either side of her. However, Sheena still smirked, confusing Kai.

"Burst." Suddenly, the two halves of the arrow detonated with Kai in the midst of the explosion.

"Kai!" Katelyn exclaimed in worry as she saw Kai's figure fly back. Kai groaned, light burns covering multiples parts of her body. Katelyn helped her up, feeling the heat that still came from her burns.

"Chaos Demon: Windsweep!" Camus called out, not letting Katelyn or Kai recover from the previous attack.

Katelyn swiftly jumped out of the way, holding Kai in her arms. Kai struggled out of Katelyn's grip, and landed on the ground.

"Shadow Dragon: Wing Attack!" Kai rushed at the twins, her arms coated in shadows. Sheena was fast enough to just dodge the attack, but Camus flew back, taking the blow head-on.

"Camus!" Sheena yelled. She glared at Kai. "Light Demon: Hell Strike!" She charged at Kai with her fist glowing with blue light.

"Shadow Dragon: Iron Fist!" Kai growled, her fist covered with shadows. The two charged at each other, their fists releasing powerful amounts of magic.

Kai and Sheena collided, the area exploding in light and shadow. Kai flew back, skidding against the ground multiple times, her hand burning profusely. Sheena flew back as well, slamming her back again a thick tree trunk.

"Kai! Your hand..." Katelyn said, running to her friend. Kai hissed, the burning pain increasing as Katelyn lightly touched the injury. "How'd she do that...?"

"You must not be that smart..." Camus insulted, helping his sister up. "We're Demon Slayers. Our magic was made to kill to demons of any kind, especially Zeref's."

"And since we heard a member of Fairy Tail was a holder of Zeref's Ookami Demon was on the island," Sheena continued.

"We thought it'd finally come to use," Camus and Sheena finished together.

Kai growled, baring her fangs at the twins. "But why?! Why are you working with Grimiore Heart? What would you get out of Hades' plans for Zeref?!"

The twins laughed loudly. "Why?" Sheena repeated.

"Oh we have a perfect reason why we chose to work with Grimiore Heart..." Camus continued.

"And what is that?" Katelyn sneered.

The twins spoke in unison. "Why wouldn't we work with our dear father, Hades?"

A/N: Salutations! I am FINALLY back from my vaca and my fam and I have finished unpacking our shit. I have much more time to work on this story now so it shouldn't take a month to update now... sry bout dat. Anywho, see y'all in the next chappie!
