You and your mother stared in horror at the TV screen, watching as the news played the recent death of a Pro-Hero.

That Pro-Hero? Your father Daisuke L/N.

You were only seven. You had only barley developed your quirk. Why did he have to go? He was gone now. He'd never see you become a hero.

He'd never see you meet your first significant other...

He'd never see you get married...

He'd never see you have a family...

He was gone...

All because of that villain.

And to make matters worse. Those horrible news anchor people had the audacity to show his bloodied body, covered by a white sheet, on live TV.

Your mother broke down in sobs, while you just sat there feeling...numb.

You had no idea how to react. How was a child supposed to react in this kind of situation? There was no way to explain that your father was gone...forever.

You felt your mom hug you, her tears dripping onto your shirt and into your hair, but your body didn't have the strength to hug her back. Your body didn't have the strength to do anything.

Memories of life with your dad flashed through your mind. Memories of him smiling and laughing. Memories of him sad. Memories of when you three would go on trips together, or when he'd read you books to help you sleep at night.

You remember the times he played hero with you. You'd be the hero and he'd be the villain. You remember how him and mom always tucked you into bed at night, leaving you to sleep with a kiss on your forehead.

One by one it seemed as if those memories were burning inside your mind. Burning away with your father.

You didn't know the exact moment when, but you found yourself crying. Leaning into your mother's chest as you both sobbed.

All of the memories. Gone.

You believed so much that the heros were the ones to kill your father. They sent him out there to fight that villain, so they're the ones that got him killed.

You wanted revenge

And you wouldn't stop until you got that.
