Epsilon Unit/Red Base
As the tremors continues to shake the earth, the sky literally splits open. Revealing the inside of some sort of room. The reds down below are all looking up at it.

Sarge: Double rainbow? What is that?

Leo: Holy shit! It really is the end of the world!

Simmons: Some kinda crack. The atmosphere must be breaking apart!

Donut: Repent, repent, the end is here!

Grif: Well, I'll be in my bunk. Gonna catch some Z's. See you guys.

Grif begins walking off towards red base.

Simmons: You're choosing to die while taking a nap.

Leo: At this point it, doesn't sound like a bad way to go.

Grif: It's just how I live, guys. It's just how I live.

Sarge: You know, in some weird way, I actually respect that. Adios, dirtbag.

Leo: So, this is how we die, huh?

Sarge walks up to him and wraps an arm around his neck.

Sarge: If we're truly going to die, at least we had some good last memories here, right soldier?

Leo: (Smiles) Guess your Right, Sarge. We did have some pretty good times.

More tremors happen, as the sky splits open further.

Blue Base
Tex, Zeta and Church still sitting at Blue base, watch the sky splitting apart.

Zeta: Welp, I guess this is it.

Tex: Seems like it.

Church: Hey Tex, there's something I need to tell you. I think it's important that I say this.

Tex: Wait a second. Look, I can take the whole 'at peace with the world' thing, and I can even stomach all the 'accept your fate' stuff. But... just do me a favor, okay? Don't say goodbye. I hate goodbyes. I mean, we are space warriors, right? We should try to maintain some level of credibility.

Church: No, no, no, Tex, no. I think I just figured out what the Director couldn't. And Alpha either. It was you, Tex, all along. See I thought- I thought we, made you. The Director, Zeta and the other fragments... but that's not the case. You made us. When the Alpha was created, you just kinda came along for the ride.

You gave the Director the idea that he could make something more. That he could split the Alpha up. Don't you get it? You were the memory. You were the key. You were so strong, you made a whole other person. God - he always wanted to find you. You know, to get you right. To just see you one last time. And he wanted me to be able to do the same.

To find you in here or... just, go down another iteration. Figure out this little Tex problem. Figure out how to do it right. But now I know. I know how to fix all o' this. How to end it once and for all. It was so simple all along. I just had to tell you three words. Three words I wasn't capable of telling you before.

Tex: Oh, okay, wait a minute... are you gonna say "I love you?"

Church: No Tex, no, I'm not gonna say I love you. ...I'm gonna say I forget you.

Another tremor occurs.

Church: I forget you. I'm letting you go.

Church looks over to where Tex was sitting, before... only to see here gone. He looks down and sighs in sadness, until he feels an arm wrap around his neck.

Zeta: It's alright, Church. You finally gave her what she wanted, you know? You... did what was best for her.

Church: (Sighs) Yeah, yeah I know Zeta... so, you ready for the end of the world?

Zeta: As ready as I'll ever be.

Church nods and looks up at the sky.

Church: ...Okay world, do your fucking worst! Cause I sure as hell just did mine.

All of a sudden, a echo voice is heard from the split in the sky.

???: It's opening! It's working!

Zeta: What the heck was that!?

Church: I've got no fucking clue!

They both stand up, focusing their attention at the sky. Through the split they could see a giant, real world Caboose looking down at them through the crack.

(A/N: RW = Real World)

RW Caboose: U- I see them! I see them, they're in there. They're okay!

Red Base
Over by the reds, who are looking up at the giant Caboose in the sky as well.

Sarge: Is that Caboose?

Simmons: Is Caboose... God? I mean, I can kinda see it now that I think about it. Sure would explain the fuck outta the platypus.

Leo: I.. I don't know what to say. Nothing, makes sense anymore!

Sarge: Well, that's just great. Caboose is God. I guess that makes me the first person in the history of the Universe that doesn't wanna go to Heaven. Hhgh, great job Blue Team. You find a way to make everything suck.

Inside the split a giant, RW Sarge is shoving giant Caboose out of the way and RW Wade takes a look as well.

RW Sarge: What? Let me see, moron.

RW Wade: Caboose, it's just a bunch circuits?

RW Caboose: Yeah but they're glowing. He's alive!

Back down to the epsilon unit, Reds.

Leo: Um, Sarge? Why are you up there?

Sarge: What? Is that me? And more importantly, why am I talking with a Blue? Attention enormous version of myself! I order you to attack!

Blue Base
Over by Zeta and Church, who've suddenly realised what this is.

Zeta: Church! I don't think the memory Unit is dying or the end of the world. It's a-

Church: -it's a fucking rescue mission. NO!

Up to RW Sarge in the split.

RW Sarge: Well get them outta there.

Back down to Zeta and Church.

Church: No, no, stop! Stop it, leave me here!

His pleas aren't heard as Zeta and him, start getting pulled up towards the split.

UNSC Archives/Storage Room
Inside a room where RW Caboose, RW Wade and RW Sarge were in, standing over the memory unit, as ghost Church and Zeta fade into being.

Wade: ZETA!

Zeta: Wade?

Wade runs towards her and goes to wrap her in a hug... only to go right, through her.

Wade: Oh... yeah.

Zeta: (Mutters) Right... back to being a A.I.

Wade turns around, facing Zeta.

Wade: You don't know, how good it is to see you again Zeta!

Zeta: (Giggles) It's great seeing you to Wade.

Wade: I... just hope you weren't to lonely without me, now.

Zeta: Well, I did have an asshole for company, but he could never replace you.

Wade just laughs and shakes his head, he's missed this feeling being with Zeta, again. But for some reason, he can't explain there's this strange feeling he gets... whenever he's around Zeta.

Wade: (Smiles) I'm just glad, your back with us.

Zeta: Wade, there hasn't been a day gone bye, I missed being with you guys... especially with you.

As Zeta and Wade have their little reunion, Church is currently steaming with anger.

Church: No, no, dammit! Whyhyhy? Why did you do it?

Caboose: Church, Zeta, you're alive! See-I knew it. See I told them! And she was right! We could get you out!

Sarge: Alright then, we're square Blue. We helped you get your shiny blue buddy out, so that makes us-

Church: What're you doing here?

Caboose: U- saving you. Y-we found you and Zeta in the place where they were keeping you and we traveled a really really long way to come to this place, and fought a bunch of people, and then fought a bunch of more people, and then we got you and took you and saved you, the end.

Church: But why would you do that? Why!?

Sarge: Well, clearly it wasn't to hear 'thank you'.

Church: Thank you? You fucked everything up! I was at peace - I had it figured out, it was over! Put me back!

Wade turns from Zeta and looks at Church.

Wade: Put you back!? We just snuck through an entire military base and fought some guys just to reach you and Zeta! And now you wanna go back?

Church: YES!

Caboose: She said we need you. She was the one who knew how to get you out.

Church: She? Who're you- who're you talking about, Tex? The real Tex?

Caboose: Tex? No, no not Tex. Leo's sister.

Church: Leo's sister?

Suddenly, the doors to the room slide open as everyone turns their heads to it. Carolina comes walking into the room, staring right at Church.

Carolina: Hey there, Alpha. Been looking for you for a long time.

Church: (Shocked) Oh no.

Zeta: (Disbelieved) No way.

Carolina: Now that I've found you, you're gonna help me do what I should have done years ago; you're gonna help me kill the Director.

Sweet mother of god, how have we gotten this far? Even tho, Season 9 isn't liked by most people, I still wanted to make it enjoyable for you guys to read. And by the looks of the comments, I believe most of you did enjoy reading this, besides Tucker's attempts on Zeta XD!

Now, I definitely know that everyone who's been reading this series, knows Season 10 has been the most long awaited season we've all been waiting for. And I want to make sure that it lives up to the expectations.

So, once I get all of Season 10 planned out, I will begin writing it! For those wondering about what will replace the project freelancer scenes for this season, you can thank Fireslash97 for the idea!

Here's a hint... it's still going to be flashbacks, just not of project freelancer.
