Past/Church Household
It was quite a peaceful day for Leo as he lied on his bed reading his favourite book. It was finally the school holidays, meaning he no longer had to torture his mind for a few weeks. But, while that brought him joy, what's the point if he can't share it with his Mother?

Sure they're still Dad and Sis, but he thinks they'd rather have fun with other folks besides him. Though things have been getting better, Lina doesn't completely ignore him now, but instead just criticise him. At least she's finally talking to him so, improvements though he can't say the same for his Dad, he still giving him the cold shoulder and sometimes Leo wishes that shoulder could just heat up.

Anyway, it's been about a month since Allison left. During those months, Leo has gotten messages from her time to time, asking "How are you doing?" or "Are you doing your homework?". While, most messages he smiles at, some just making him groan in annoyance. But strangely he hasn't received any messages from here for a while, maybe she was to busy to text him or phone him? She was fighting in a war after all. Leo gets pulled out of his thoughts, when he hears someone knock on the front door.

Leo: (Confused) Huh? I thought Lina wouldn't be back for another hour?

Lina was currently working at her part time job and Dad had to head out after getting a call from work, leaving Leo alone in the house. Placing his book down, he hops out of bed and makes his way out of his room and down the stairs. He reaches the front door and opens it, but was definitely not expecting two men dressed in UNSC Officer uniforms, standing in front of him.

Leo: (Nervous) Um, can I help you?

The guy on the left takes off his cap and lowers it to his waist, looking at him with a sympathy expression.

Officer: Hi, is Leonard Church here?

Leo: No, he's not here right now.

Officer: Is their anyone else we could talk to?

Leo: No, It's just me... Is there a problem?

Officer: I believe it's best to wait, until your father is here.

Leo didn't like what was happening, two UNSC soldiers show up asking for his Dad, while looking at him with pity looks on their face. Something inside him knew what this was, but his mind wasn't picking it up.

Leo: Has... something happened.

Present/SandTrap
The Reds, Blues, and Carolina arrive at the desert. They all park beside an Elephant parked in the desert. Carolina gets off her mongoose and heads over to Wash.

Carolina: This where you found the body?

Wash: Yep, she's right up there.

Carolina: We'll see. Take me there. Sync.

Wash: Sync.

Caboose: Automatic dishwasher.

Wash hops out of his warthog and runs off with Carolina to find C.T's body as everyone watches them go.

Tucker: Man, where was this chick when we had that awesome tank? Bitches love tanks!

Zeta: I don't think Carolina would be that type of chick, Tucker.

Church: I don't get it. What is she looking for?

Tucker: You tell me! I don't know half of what's happening these days. You found me here remember?

Church: Oh yeah! You were actually kind of a badass that time.

Wade: He was? Are we talking about the same Tucker here?

Church: Surprisingly yes.

Tucker: Dude, I'm kind of a badass, all the time! You guys just happened to notice it then.

Caboose walks over to them.

Caboose: Ah, that's not true. I never noticed it.

Church: Look, the point is she's not telling us everything. I just don't understand why.

Wade: Probably, because she doesn't trust us that much.

Church: (Sarcasm) Yeah think?

Tucker: Who knows man? I tried everything I can to get some info out of her. I tried hitting on her, I tried sleeping with her, I tried making out with her-

Zeta: (Sarcastically) Wow, you certainly did your best huh?

Tucker: No kidding! I used the whole playbook! I even used my best pick-up line: "hey baby, did you fall from heaven, cause I've always wanted to bone an angel!"

Church: Tucker, be honest. Have you ever had sex with anything besides an alien?

Wade: Ugh, why do you have to bring that up? I've finally just repressed that memory!

Zeta looks at Tucker in shock.

Zeta: Seriously? You've did it with an Alien.

Tucker: In my defence, I did not give consent! I would never sleep with an Alien!

Wade: Now, you know how every girl you hit on feels like.

Tucker: Wade, the more important question here is: does Church know any girls who aren't complete bitches, that won't sleep with me?

Church: Sorry, dude. That seems to be all I have in my life.

Zeta: (Coughs)

Church: Fine, some girls I know aren't completely bitches... most of the time.

Tucker: You're like the worst wingman ever.

Caboose: Of all time.

Over to Wash and Carolina who are still running across the desert.

Wash: ACHOO!

Carolina: I see your sneezing habit hasn't changed.

Wash: I've got no clue what's causing it!

Past/Church Household
Everything hasn't been the same since those two UNSC Officers showed up. Once Dad got back home, the Officers informed him that... Allison was gone. Leo was hiding on the stairs when he heard that... he could almost hear the sound of his heart cracking.

He'd spend all his time in his room, barely eat anything and softly cry into his pillow every night. Sometimes he'd feel completely angry that she promised him that she would make it back home and other times he'd just wishes she was still here with him. But he wasn't the only one, who was grieving after the horrible news...

Once his Sister got word of the news, she completely shut everyone around her out. She'd barely talk to Dad or Leo and whenever Leo did see her, she'd give him this venomous glare. Leo even tried comforting her one time, but she immediately yelled at him, saying "Leave me, alone!". Till this day he's kept his distance away from her, giving her time to grief alone.

His Dad took it the worst, once the Officers left, he started trashing the liver room and breaking furniture, while screaming "Why didn't she listen!?". Since then, he's changed into a different person. He started to drink alcohol, which Leo could smell radiating off him whenever he was near him. Lina and I had to make are own food, due to Dad no longer paying attention to our needs.

Even right now, Leo could hear him yelling down stairs, presumably drowning himself in alcohol. Worst, Leo was starving and wondering whether or not if he should risk grabbing a snack. But his decision was sealed as his stomach growled in pain. Cautiously, he exits out of his room and tip toes down stairs, fearing to accidentally make a sound.

Once he reached the bottom of the stairs, he peered into the living room and saw his Dad, sitting on the couch with some alcohol drinks, beside him. Deciding not to stick around, he begins making his way over to the kitchen, only to freeze in horror when the floor gives a loud creek sound.

Suddenly, he hears footsteps coming up behind him, which sends a chill up his spine with each step. Leo slowly turns around to see his father standing their, staring at him with the most hated glare he could ever imagine.

Leonard: (Growls) This... is all because of you.

Leo: W-What?

His Dad reaches down and slides his belt out from his pants and holds it threateningly in his hand. Everything in Leo is telling him to run, but his body is frozen in fear.

Leonard: If it wasn't because of you... she'd still be here.

He slowly begins making his way towards Leo, clenching the belt tight in his hands. Leo starts walking back, before tripping over his own feet and landed on his back. He leans forward and his eyes shrink in fear, seeing his Dad standing over him with his belt raised. Tears began escaping Leo's eyes as the belt came towards him... and thus began the living hell, Leo suffered.
