She was starting to heal from her previous knife wounds, but it still hurt to talk.
Colorado was walking through the hallways, thinking about Kodiak without realizing it.
She was feeling something, and she didn't like it one bit.
The next few days, every time Kodiak and Rado were near eachother, Kodiak would look away and refuse to meet her eyes. He never had his helmet off, which was a shame. She was sure he was handsome.
Rado entered the locker room, realizing she was alone in there. She could fix her hair without being made fun of, at least.
The girl pulled out a brush, before hearing soft breathing. She got up, set her helmet on the bench beside her, and then walked around the first row of lockers.
A certain someone in red and black armor, with a gold visor, was sitting there, his helmet off.
Colorado couldn't pull her eyes away. Kodiak was freaking hot.
He looked up, meeting her eyes. She squealed and his behind the lockers, her heart pounding.
'oh fuck oh fuck—' She thought desperately. Rado heard the footsteps coming around, and Kodiak stepped in front of her. With his helmet off.
"Colorado—" Kodiak began.
"I'm sorry!" Rado burst out, her green eyes wide. "I didn't— I didn't know you were in here— and I saw you without your helmet—"
Kodiak put a hand over her mouth, being gentle.
She looked up at him, surprised.
"Not many have the courage to stand up to me like that, much less break my visor.." He whispered softly, removing his hand. Rado met his eyes, a bit scared.
Kodiak leaned down, being a bit taller than her, and pressed his lips against hers in a kiss.
Rado kissed back with longing that surprised herself. So THAT'S what that feeling was...
She almost whined as he stepped back, smiling.
"Mhm. By the way, you're not boring~" Kodiak said in a sing-song voice, running and grabbing his helmet, before bolting out of the training room.
Rado touched her lips gently, smiling.
