She heard a grunt from the training room and looked in. As she watched, Kodiak beat a small soldier into the ground. That was NOT evenly matched.
Rado stepped in, clearing her throat. Kodiak glanced at her, before continuing to stomp the smaller man.
Colorado knew he had to be stopped, before the soldier was possibly killed.
She pulled out her small throwing knives, taking a deep breath. She threw them in rapid succession, two hitting him in the back.
Kodiak turned around, eyes narrowed. He pulled the knives out without a flinch, Rado wincing and gasping.
She didn't see what was coming. He threw the knives right back, hitting her in her side and her knee. All she felt was splitting pain as the knife ripping her knee tendons.
She collapsed to the ground. It hurt so much she could barely move.
Kodiak stomped over and picked her up by the throat, which was still sore. Colorado sputtered as she tried to gasp for air.
"Leave. Me. Alone. Nothing I do concerns you!" Kodiak snarled, tightening his grip. Rado choked, her eyes wide. She tried to pry his hands off her throat, to no avail.
Rado felt her consciousness slipping away from her as blackness filled the edge of her vision.
Kodiak squeezes even tighter, clearly not wanting her to stay conscious.
Rado blacked out, the larger man dropping her on the floor and leaving her there, bleeding from the knife wounds, hardly able to bring in a breath.

Colorado woke up a few hours later, when it was dark. She felt weak, as she shifted around a bolt of pain shot through her and the girl felt her own blood beneath her.
Maybe she'd just stay here until the morning.
