Chapter 1
[Well here is another chapter of this garbage of mine, for anyone that does like this.]
???: Comrade! COMRADE! WAKE UP!
I could feel somone shaking me.
(y/n): Ughhh... Just five more minutes...
*SLAP* I bolted upright. Somone has a mean right hand....
(y/n): I'M UP! I'M UP!
Alarms were blaring, all around the bridge. Seems we took some damage from that blast...
Weapons: First officer! We have a mutiny in progress all around the ship!
I looked at him annoyed. I took out my Makarov and blew his head off.
Whole bridge looked at me with terror. I casualy strolled to the body of the capitan, which was right in front of me.
Guy has lost a lot of blood, and i could see a nasty red line across his skull. Making sure couldn't hurt right?
I aimed the makarov again and shot the body in the head.
(y/n): It's CAPITAN now, understood?
I could see hesitant nods everywhere. After that we could hear knocking on the bulkhead.
With a spring in my step, i got close to the door and opened it. On the other side was standing a tall russian, with short black hair.
He was built like a walking tank, and had an APS rifle on his side.
(y/n): Come in, come in Grigorij!
He walked in with two men in tow. They wore black vests, and balaclavas on thier faces.
Armed with an APS rifle and gas grenades. Frags are a big no-no on a submarine wouldn't you agree?
They got in a neat line and saluted me.
Greg: Comrade Capitan (l/n)! We have most of the ship in our hands. With only a few traces of resistance.
(y/n): Splendid Greg! Now after this is all over remind me to bring out vodka! The good stuff. But now tell me about that resistance. I would like to shoot something right now because of that idiot.
I pointed at the body of the former capitan with a large bullethole in his head.
He smiled at that.
Im very glad that i pulled Greg out of the gulag. I hit a jackpot then! I mean how often do you find a small spetznaz unit, incarcerated for stealing? Amazing how command could waste resources! I just couldn't stand idly by and let 20 years of expirience in blackops get wasted hammering away on some random rock!
I looked around myself but i couldn't see Volkov anywhere around me.
Strange, i ussualy have to pry her off of myself.
(y/n): Sayyyy, you wouldnt happen to see my first officer anywhere around here now, wouldn't you?
I could see the mans eyes widen. He started sweating a littlebit.
I think that Tanya is the only thing that the man fears.
Greg: Y-Y-Yes sir. I c-could see her near the reactor core, chasing somone.
Ahhh then she is out having fun!
(y/n): You two.
I pointed at the masked special unit.
(y/n): Stay here and make sure these idiots dont do anything stupid. You can hit them all you like, just not too hard. I dont want to train another bridge crew. Now Greg lets get going!
The two nodded and started cuffing more active members of the bridge.
Me and Gregy-boy went out into the maze of 941's halls.
Now my Typhoon was not a standard one. It was 190 m long, instead of standard 175m. Fitted with a new generation nuclear reactor and larger screws, pushing this monster with a top underwater speed of about 75kph instead of standard 50. Half of the silos were removed, and replaced with a small labolatory. I have no idea what they were doing there, Petrov didnt allow anyone in there. Over the lab was a double barreled 30mm autocannon. Again, no idea why but it can't hurt right? The crew complement was 180 souls, from what i know about 140 loyal to me. With that numbers taking full control was a cakewalk.
First things, first. I have to take the silos back. We dont want a premature explosion now do we?
After a few seconds of jogging we arrived by the silos. My men were positioned all around the door.
All of them saluted once they saw me. Damn this feels good.
(y/n): Sooooo, what are our options?
Greg: We could try and blow out the bulkhead, cut the door open or just reason with them.
(y/n): Blowing a door, with nukes on the other side? No thank you. Cutting would take too damn long, and i want to see my new shiny toys. Reason? Screw reason!
After a few second i tought of a brilliant idea.
I started running towards a nearby service panel. A new addition to our upgreaded sub were flooding hatches. In case of fire too large for simple extinguishers we could flood the whole damn room. So lets see how these idiots like to breathe with sea water.
A switch here a pull there and viola! I could hear the water coming in already.
For a few seconds there was silence, after that i started to hear screams. Delicious screams.
I came back to my men with a wicked grin.
(y/n): Now make sure they dont open those doors. I really don't like to have salt everywhere.
Greg: Remind me not to piss you off, boss.
(y/n): Okay, after you think they had enough blow the water out. We have enough oxygen to do that.
Now time to hunt a bastard or two. All my men are wearing red armbands. Dont ask me why. I think i drunk too much once...
Anyway, i took an AK-47 from one of the sailors, with two mags. Now lets hunt.
[Timeskip 10 minutes.]
*BANG*
(Y/N): IF. I. SEE. ONE. MORE. GODDAMNED. FLASHBANG....
I peeked out my corner. We had two men shooting at us from inside of the torpedo compartment. A bullet grazed my cheek. Taking aim praying to whatever god there was that i won't accidentally hit something explosive, i peeked out again. After a gentle squezze of the trigger the Kalash barked once. I could hear a body dropping to the ground. Then the other man came out and raised his hands.
Sailor: WAIT WAIT! I GIVE UP! DONT SHOOT!
(Y/N): Throw the gun over here.
He did as he was told. I made my way towards him. I threw the AK to the ground, and i took my bayonet out.
Stabbed him right into the gut, then i twisted the knife.
He coughed blood straight at my trenchcoat.
(Y/N): GODDAMIT. Now its personal.
I took the knife out and stabbed him a few times more. After minutes of turning his insides into a salsa i stopped. Do you know how hard is to clean a good coat on a submarine?
(Y/N): Greg you go ahead and deal with the rest of this, im going to get my cheek bandaged.
He nodded and ran back into the maze of the submarine. Now i was off to the medbay. I need to ask Lebedev to have a look at my cheek.
A few minutes of jogging again and i was standing before the medbay. Two men were standing in front of it.
Sailor #1: Comrade! Are you having fun too?
(Y/N): Yeah i shot a few. I wanted to get my face looked at.
Sailor #2: Yeah, good luck with that. Doc closed himself off. He wont come out.
(y/n): You sure it was him?
Sailor #1: Da. We saw his skinny little ass dart inside the room. Closed the door afterwards. We were standing here ever since.
(y/n): I can take it from here boys, you go on ahead and join the hunt. Im sure there is something left to slice in the lower levels.
They looked at each other, then with an ear to ear smile they ran away looking for anything to play with. Murderers will always be murderers eh?
Now onto the pressing matter of a rouge medic.
(y/n): Ohhhh doctor! Comeout! You can't sit in there forever. I can always choke you out. And if you don't come out now, the one you see here instead of somewhat reasonable me, will be pissed off Tanya.
I could hear he threw himself at the door. He was very eager to come out. Heheh... Yeah mentoning her to anyone had that effect.
After a few seconds door shot open. I could see the skinny man's face. He was bald and short. He was so drenched in sweat you could think he was swimming just a moment ago.
Alex: Is she here...?
I pushed him inside the medbay, turned around and closed the door.
(y/n): So doctor... Mind telling me WHAT IN THE NAME OF JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WERE YOU THINKING? I mean granted, you grew SOME balls, trying to go against me. But what was youre plan? Sitting here until you starve? Waiting for rescue? Or were you just trying to piss me off? Hmm? Which one was it?
I said slowly pulling my makarov out. He started sweating again. How is that man not dying of dehydration yet?
Alex: Now please comrade there is no need for that...
*CLICK*
(y/n): Oh look. The safety turned itself off. Now i will give you 10 seconds to change my mind about blowing your head right here and now. GO.
Alex: No please comrade, don't do this i have a family...
(y/n): 9.
His eyes widened. And he started making a puddle underneath himself. I have no idea if that was piss or sweat.
Alex: PLEASE I BEG OF YOU! I WAS SCARED I DIDN'T MEAN TO...
(y/n): 8.
Now the gears in his head started working. I just hope they don't blow prematurely i would like to hear what he has to say.
Alex: B-B-BUT YOU CAN'T SHOOT ME!
Oh?
(y/n): Oh? 7.
Alex: YES, IM THE ONLY MEDIC ONBOARD!
(y/n): Warm. 5.
Alex: WITH A HORDE OF BLOODTHIRSTY MANIACS WHO ENDANGER THEMSELFS EVERYDAY!
(Y/N): WARMER. 3.
Alex: PLEASEIBEGYOUDONTSHOOTMEILLBELOYALTOYOUNOWISWEAR!
(Y/N): Bingo. You just won youre life doctor!
At least for now.
I swear if they could, his eyes would jump out now. He fainted. And fell. Straight into the puddle of his sweat-piss.
Disgusting.
He is lucky he was right. He IS the only medic onboard. Otherwise he would be lying in a puddle of blood right now.
I unlocked the medbay's doors and stepped out. Greg was calmly walking towards me, grinning.
Greg: Capitan. All who opposed you're "promotion" have been rounded up in the armory. I thought you would want to shoot them yourself.
(Y/N): Awww you shouldnt have! How many alive?
Greg: 11. Enough for a decent execution.
(Y/N): Heheheh.
From the speakers in the hallways started playing... Katyusha?
I looked confused at Greg. He stared back with similar amount of it.
Then we made our way to the bridge once again.
On the bridge we saw the spetsnaz, playing cards. After they saw me they darted upright and saluted, with thier APS's close to thier chests.
(Y/N): At ease.
I looked a bit left to the middle of the bridge. And what do you know. There was my little psycho sitting in my chair, while on her left was an old gramophone playing in front of a microphone.
Tanya: Congratulations on the promotion!
She then lunged at me, and hugged me. I just hugged back. There was nothing i could do to pry her off me, without damaging her, so i just accepted it.
(Y/N): Now i hope you didn't kill anyone important. Is the chief engineer alright? I dont want a reactor going Chernobyl on me anywhere in the near future.
Tanya: Kozlov? He was smart enough to show me a few of the traitors hiding by the reactor. Don't you worry he is alive and well.
I walked up to MY chair. Note to self: Get a new seatbelt. I started sitting down in slow motion... what? I wanted to saviour the moment!
Milimetres untill the touchdown i heard an unknown voice. Ugh.
???: Hallo? Vas ist happening out zhere? Kozlov, pick up the verdamnt phone!
We were in the middle of arctic, underwater. And i knew every single person onboard. Last time i checked we didn't have any germans on board. Curious i picked up the phone.
???: Finnaly. You were not answering in your quarters.
(Y/N): Hello there. Kozlov is... unreachable right now. Should i take a message? Who would it be from?
???: Ha. Ha. Zehr funny. Now give me Kozlov or you will be demoted so far you will be scrubbing toilets in Syberia when we get back to port!
(Y/N): Now now. There is no need, for such profanities! Okay if you want to speak to the corpse i will give the phone to him...
???: Vhat? Kozlov's... dead?
(Y/N): What you didn't hear any shots down there? Let's just say there was a... slight change in managment. Now i'll forget the insults, but let's start again. Hello. I am Capitan (Y/N) (L/N) and i am in command of this vessel. Now i bet you are sitting in that little lab by the silos, as that is the only part of the ship i didn't see yet.
So now you will introduce yourself properly and i will consider not flooding the whole fucking room with seawater. Understood?
???: Ja, versteit... Im Edward Richtofen and im the chief scientist here. The rest you should hear down here.
The line went dead. What a rude man!
(Y/N): Well, chair see you in a moment. Greg and you two terrorist looking specops, with me! Tanya you have the bridge, raise the antenna buoy and start looking for any messages for us.
Ive made my way down to the lab with my bodyguards. I was curious.
What could be so dangerous that it had to be on a lab inside a soviet submarine? We had quite a lot of land to hide such instalations, right?
I couldnt help but be excited. That could be anything! From some tesla weaponary to maybe robots even!
We've reached the lab.
(Y/N): I really need to ask you're names later, calling you Spec #1 and #2 is quite tiring. Wait by the door and make sure NO ONE comes in. Greg you still with me.
They positioned themselfs on the sides of the large door . With that out of the way i went and like a civilised person i knocked on the door.
I could hear the internal mechanism slowly working on moving the large door outside. Whatever was in there had to be goddamned important looking at the thickess of it.
Afther the door moved aside. I could see three labcoat wearing pepole. One in a middle was looking like an old SS oficer, woman on the left had short black hair and she was FLAT like a board. The man on the right had red hair and was skinny as all hell, he made it up in height however. Then i looked up. I could see a large... ball? it was about 80cm ball suspended in the middle of the room by thick rods.
[A/N Something like Mass Effect's Normandy drive core.]
(Y/N): Hello there! So i assume you SS looking motherfucker were on the phone?
I got closer to him.
Richtoffen: Yes, It vas me...
I punched him in the gut. He recoiled in pain. The two other were just standing there trying very hard not to laugh.
(Y/N): What's so funny?
Plank: Oh he had it long time coming with his attitude.
Red: Yeah he is a pain to work with.
Richtoffen: I CAN HEAR YOU.
(Y/N): Now i belive introductions are in order. I am newly promoted Capitan of this vessel (Y/N) (L/N). Depending on how useful that big shiny metal ball is you will either find another profession or you will join an event hosted later on the topside by me.
Plank: Name's Lily Evans. Physicist here.
Red: John Craig. Engineer.
Then i could hear coming from the floor:
Richtoffen: Edvard Richtoffen, and i am the inventor of that "Big shiny metall ball".
He slowly got up. After that he dusted himself off.
Ricky: Now i belive that an explanation is in order.
(Y/N): Explanation of vhat herr doctor?
As on cue somone nocked on the door. Greg opened it and talked for a short while. He then closed the door and turned to me.
Greg: Message from the first officer. No messages. No nothing. Not even one radio-beacon.
Now that was worrying. Even with full radio silence, there should be at least one beacon for navigation.
That could only happen if ALL of them were either destroyed or...
I slowly turned to Ricky boy.
(Y/N): Sooo do you have anything to tell me?.
Ricky: Vhat vould you say if, you heard about instant travel from one place to another one?
(Y/N): Like what? Teleportation?
Ricky: EXACTLY! Teleportation! Now i have experimented back in Reich with stationary teleporters, but ze test subjects all were either evaporated or turned into mush. Ve even had a case of turning inside out.
After that we had to transport our equipment from Poland back to zi vaterland, running from ze red tide. So we loaded our equipment on a ship and sailed out. Hovever on our vay back ve vere hit by a blitz.
The whole ship shook like crazy, zhen our ship was much closer to the destination than it should.
My prototype worked! Nicht as intended but that vas better! Vhy transport one man, when you can transport a vhole ship?. Experiments vent much better than vith transporting jevs.
Unfortunatley i didn't perfect ze prototype before ze red army took our land. So i did the only logical thing i could to survive and i gave ze prototype to ze red's.
(Y/N): Wait, wait, wait. So i can jump the whole ship to any point i want?
Evans: Not ANY point. Right now it has a range of about 9000km. Not to mention its very hard to calibrate.
And its fried.
(Y/N): Okay but that still does not explain the lack of signals. Even on the other side of the world we should be able to pick up anything.
Craig: Now here's the kicker!
Ricky: A long time ago i have theorised zhat with enough power ve could... "Jump" out of our own universe.
(Y/N): How much power are we talking about?
Craig: As it turns out a burnt fuse here a missing cable there, and that electromagnetic pulse from the nuke got us enough to do it.
Ricky: It's all Petrov's fault. He should have refused ze command, but he vas so eager to get up zhier arschlochen he just rushed ze test.
(Y/N): ...and here i tought it was going to be easy.
[A/N:Okay any constructive critisicm is appreciated. Should i do more? Stop this before its too late? I made both the prologue and the first chapter in one go so if it wont recive any love ill just stop here.]
