You stared at the Armored Titan with narrowed eyes.

"Hm," you hummed, "Well isn't that an interesting form." Eren also turned to face Reiner. The two of them ran towards each other. Reiner threw the first punch. Eren moved to the side, smashing his crystal-covered fist straight into Reiner's unprotected jaw. Reiner was blown back from the punch. Shockwaves and dust traveled through the air.

"Oh? So that was his goal," you murmured, seeing Reiner grasping the Jaw Titan by its hair. Eren emerged from the nape of his titan. "It's time to go back." You turned, running across the roofs of the buildings. You followed under the airship where Jean and the others were currently hooked to.

"Miss Y/n!"
You looked up to see Jean swinging there, looking down at you.

"Please keep watch!"
Your brow twitched, but you didn't reply. You brought out your gun, changing the magazine. Looking down, you saw Marley soldiers shooting at the airship--or at your own soldiers. Aiming your gun, you picked them off one at a time.

"They make it too easy," you whispered. The Survey Corps retreated back into the airship, except one. Marley didn't have anything to destroy airships. "Guess it's time." Shooting out your wire, the hook caught onto the wood stripping under the airship.

"It was fun while it lasted, Marley." You swung on your wire, flying up towards the ship. You grabbed onto the netting and hauled yourself in through the open door. There, you saw Jean, Sasha, and Connie.

"Hey, it's been a while," you greeted as you stepped through. All three of them looked up at you.

"Miss Y/n," Sasha greeted back with a nod. You looked forward to see the rest of the soldiers celebrating.

"Oi," you spoke loudly. That was enough to shut them up to look at you.

"Mi-Miss Y/n!" They all greeted, stiffening up into a salute.

"What are you celebrating for?" You asked, "We're still in enemy territory. Save the celebrating until we're over the sea."

"Ye-yes!"

"Has Eren boarded?" You looked at the trio. They nodded.

"Yes. Captain Levi has him in the other room," Jean replied. You almost jumped at the mention of Levi.

"I see."
After that, talking resumed, but quieter. The trio all stood up to join the other soldiers. You stayed behind them. Vibrations under your feet and a noise drew your attention. You turned your head to the open door. You glanced at Sasha to see she heard it too.

"Did you hear a sound just now?" She asked.

"Yeah," you replied, "Did your one commander come aboard?"

"Yeah, I think so," Jean replied. You heard a grunt behind you. Turning, you saw Gabi had rolled onto the airship, gun trained on Sasha. Without hesitation, she shot the gun. You unsheathed your sword and shielded Sasha, slicing the blade through the bullet. Gabi gaped at you in shock before aiming to shoot at you again. You ran forward, holding the blade above her head. As she stared up at you, she shot off the gun again. Your eyes followed the bullet, watching it plunge straight through Sasha's chest.

Your eyes moved back to Gabi, now narrowed. Your blade cut cleanly through the shotgun, disallowing her from shooting it again. You grabbed her by the throat, ears picking up the sound of another. Swivelling your head around, you saw Falco crawling onto the ship. Sheathing your sword, you walked over to him slowly with a struggling Gabi in your hand. Falco shrank under your gaze. You grabbed him by the throat as well, ignoring Gabi trying to kick and punch and bite you. You turned, slamming both of them against the wall.

You let go of them long enough to wrap your wires around them. Gabi, of course, struggled, while Falco accepted it.

"If you try anything, thousands of tiny serrations will slice your skin apart," you warned, gaze dark. "You will die a slow death, and it will be painful."

"MISS Y/N!"
You turned, seeing Connie and Jean kneeling over Sasha's body.

"Can't you do anything?!"
Your eyes moved to the large pool of blood gathering under her. Then you looked at her eyes.

"Get bandages, quick!" You ordered, "We need to stop the bleeding and plug the wound!"

"Yes!"
You walked up to the trio, dragging the kids behind you. You knelt to the ground, inspecting Sasha's gunshot wound.

"Here!"
You took the roll of bandages from the soldier and quickly swiped your thumb across your teeth, cutting it. You let your blood soak the bandage, before carefully placing it over her wound. Her chest began to steam on contact, and you flipped her on her side. You tightly wound the banadge around her steaming torso. When you got done, you made sure to tighten it good.

"There's no guarantee," you said, "She's already lost so much blood." Jean grit his teeth, hanging his head in his hands. Connie just stared at her, expression hollow. You looked up at the kids and they flinched with your gaze. You stood up, walking towards them. Gabi tried to back up.

"Don't touch me! You devils!" She yelled, making you halt. "We haven't lost yet! The rest of our comrades will carry on the will of War Chief Zeke!!" She thrashed around like a rabid animal.

"Gabi, stop!" Falco cried. You tilted your head at them.

"What are we going to do with them, Miss Y/n?" Floch asked. That's when Gabi met your gaze head on.

"Us true Eldians are gonna haunt you til you die!!! Pass that onto your ringleader after I'm dead!!!" She exclaimed.

"Go right ahead," you replied calmly.

"Huh?" She froze.

"All this ruckus, and for what? The last time I checked..." You leaned forward, the red ring appearing in your eyes. "... you and I have the same blood in our veins." She flinched back, but still snarled at you.

"Speaking of our ringleader," you added, "I'll take you to him. And you can tell him exactly what you told me." Your eye died down back to its natural color. You turned and walked over to the door on the other side of the room, dragging Gabi and Falco with you. You didn't look at Sasha's body. You opened the metal door, revealing the rest of the Corp inside. All heads turned to you.

"Y/n," Levi said, turning his body to face you. You looked at him, taking a quick down-up of his body.

"Levi," you spoke. Your eyes then went to the incapacitated Zeke, and chained-up Eren.

"Gabi... Falco... why are you here?" Zeke spoke.

"Why? Why are you here?" Falco inquired quietly.

"You're alive?! Why did you let them capture you?!" Gabi exclaimed.

"Oh, it seems you have a lot of explaining to do," you said. Levi walked up closer to you.

"Who are these kids?" He asked.

"Killed Lobov and used his gear to get up here, according to the others," you replied, "This one--" You tightened your wire wrapped around her and she gasped in pain.

"Shot at Sasha twice. I intercepted the first time, but the second one made contact. I doubt she'll make it." Levi's eyes widened slightly, and Mikasa and Armin ran past you into the other room, slamming the door closed behind them. That's when the door to the cockpit opened, and Hanji walked out.

"It's all you, Onyankopon," she said into it.

"Commander Hanji," you greeted. Her gaze turned to you, flashing with realization.

"Y/n," she greeted back quietly, "It's good to see you're alive." You hummed. Her head then turned to Zeke.

"Well, did everything play out as you hoped, Zeke Jeager?" She asked him.

"For the most part, but there were for a few miscalculations," he replied. Your lip twitched.

"Huh? Who are these kids?" Hanji asked, now only noticing them.

"Miscalcuations," Zeke repeated.

"Yelena," you spoke to the blonde. "I thought you were in charge of trapping the Cart and Jaw. What happened?"

"I'm sorry," she spoke, "I assure you they fell down the hole, but it's still my fault."

"And to cover for that slip up, the Beast chucked more rocks at us than planned," Levi spoke, "That was some clever improv for a clown like you. Wouldn't you say, hairball?" He glared down at him.

"Oh yeah," you spoke, moving away from the kids and letting your wire extend. You stood in front of Zeke, your glare dark. "When are you going to reinburst me for almost shredding me to pieces?"

"I had to," Zeke replied.

"You're not making a good defense for yourself," you growled out.

"Don't glare at me like that, I'll piss myself."
You looked at Levi who returned your gaze.

"He's all yours, Levi." You turned and walked back over to the kids who were still in shock of seeing their War Chief cooporate with the enemy.

"We killed the Marley brass and destroyed their port and fleet," Eren said, "That should buy us some time."

"Until the whole world launches a joint attack on Paradis?" Hanji questioned, "Every time you're caught by the enemy, we sacrifice lives to get you back. No matter how many it takes."

"Ah yeah, isn't this like, the fourth time?" You spoke up flatly.

"And yet knowing that, you went so far as to make yourself a hostage. Just like you hoped, we didn't have much choice. You put your trust in us, and we lost our trust in you."

"But now we have the Founding Titan and a Titan with royal blood," Zeke spoke up, "The cost of those sacrifices will be paid through Eldia's freedom."

"That is, if the world doesn't blow us up first," you replied. The metal door slowly creaked open. Connie stood on the other side, his eyes wide, and expression dark.

"Sasha... is dead."
You could hear the screams and cries of Mikasa and Armin in the back. You closed your eyes and exhaled slowly.

"Connie," Eren spoke, "Did Sasha... have any last words?"

"She said... 'meat'."
Jean walked into the room as well, expression just as dark. You looked over at Eren when he gave a strained chuckle.

"Eren..." Jean said, "Sasha only died because you dragged the Scouts into this."
You let out a quiet sigh. That's when Jean turned his head towards you.

"And you," he said. You met his gaze.

"What about me?"

"I thought your blood was supposed to heal people."

"It's become less potent over the years. Probably in compensation for my control over it. I figured I'd try anyways," you replied. Jean just gritted his teeth and looked down. His fists shook with how hard he was clenching them.
