Just a Shadow

One night as another party is now happening at the castle, Shadow walk through the garden out from Garden Labyrinth. As he walking through the window of castle where he seeing inside of hall, he saw his princess look down but he cannot do anything as he watching receding figure, and its hurting him...

Hour passed, Shadow went back to the labyrinth, sit there and play his guitar as he waiting for Princess Akane's arrival. Back then, when he saw the princess he sure that he saw a tear that falls to her eyes...

"I don't know why your tears are falling from your eyes, but the only thing that i can do is make a song that will lift your spirit back to usual self..."

But that night the princess didn't show up... Even on the next day, the next week and even the followed month. The princess didn't show her face or her shadow to him... "If these continue that not seeing you will my love for you, will it fade away? Or it will want more of you?"

Then he remembers the night that she made him dance. He remembered it clearly; he took her hand so she won't trip. As they dancing he seeing her as a beautiful goddess at that time his heart keep thumping to his chest because of her beauty that cannot match or compare to anyone...

The next morning, Shadow's feet brought him in the kingdom's church and a wedding is happening... he take a peak to the ceremony. As the father of church speeches, he surprised and cannot believe at the same time to the person he saw.

Yes, this was the reason why she not coming...

Yes he saw the princess in her wedding dress and marrying the prince who cares from where.

But like his name, he silently exited the church and cry behind the nearby tree...

The wedding has finished and he saw Akane, the princess smiles to her husband...

It did make him smiled? No actually and it’s hurt for him, but he must accept it...

Outside of Kingdom of Ophania, Shadow who well prepared for another journey play his guitar while tears falling down to his eyes...
