Chapter 27 The One that Embodies Wei Wuxian's Fear

Delicate, feminine and look all naïve, is how Tiao Reinshun and Myo Qing described the daughter of Sect Leader of Qin Clan, Qin Su. After the revelation of her birth, she lost all of her confidence to find a proper husband. After all, who wants to become result of such crime, and even it is not spread outside the people who attended that certain meeting, Qin Su still felt that her whole world has crumble. Her father didn't change his view of her, he is still his daughter and that won't change ever.

It came to her to blame the person who spill the beans and soon—after two months since that meeting, Qin Su visited the Zhuque Sect to meet Wei Ying.

She was ready to lash at him, curse him and make him responsible for her future by marrying her. The last stay still but the first and second plan didn't go as she planned, the young girl of Qin Clan felt for the first time of what the others call love at first sight, as she met Wei Ying by accident, and later learned that it is the same Wei Ying that she supposedly lash and curse.

Since then, Qin Su often comes at Zhuque Sect to see and have a talk with Wei Ying, to know him more, to make him fall on her charms.

This "delicate", "all naïve" and "feminine" description of Tiao Reinshun and Myo Qing is not far from the truth. Indeed, Qin Su is "delicate" has weak foundation of Golden Core, has low constitution in cultivation; "feminine", well what will you expect from someone who is not interested at cultivation, to immortality, to ascendance, and only wants to have a high-tech husband that would lead their sect in further glory and a husband that she could show off.

"All naïve" has also other meaning behind as well.

The sisters of Zhuque Sect just sighs, with Qin Su's quantities there will no doubt that any guys will fall into her charms—that is only work at other guys, not to their siblings, especially to their precious brother Wei Ying.

Tiao Reinshun just blinks on her at first, no she wasn't shock, she knew that any days—with rumors about her with her brother—someone will confront her to tell her to back off. Honestly, if they just know the truth; the truth that they are facing the wrong opponent, that they are barking at the wrong tree, that they have the wrong person to back off.

With playful coy smile Tiao Reinshun refuted her.

Of course, the siblings knew that this wasn't enough to stop Qin Su, the girl is desperate, although it is no longer because of her birth history and just purely desire, so every time that Qin Su visited their sect, either of them will took Wei Ying away.

This set up lasted for many years and up to now.

Since Wei Ying went into seclusion for a year and Qin Su has no chance of meeting him afterwards, Qin Su has all guts to come at Gusu.

"Young Master Wei!"

That feminine voice which irritates Wei Ying for many years now reaches him and made thoroughly disappoint him felt exhausted at once.

Seeing this rare reaction from the always upbeat teen, the white clad cultivator voiced his worry, "What it is Wei Ying?"

Hearing Lan Wangji next to him, makes him remember who is with him, and he panic inside.

There's something Wei Wuxian and everyone hiding from Lan Wangji and that is the truth behind the incident for imprisonment of Jin Guangshan.

That the very reason the dispute between Zhuque Sect and Jin Guangshan, and dispute between Jin Clan and Jin Guangshan is him—Wei Wuxian.

Although Jin Guangshan's attempts on raping Wei Wuxian didn't occur, he still cannot tell Lan Wangji.

Having Qin Su here would mean that thing will expose.

"There's nothing bad about it." Tiao Reinshun once told him, when she asked him if when Wei Wuxian will tell Lan Wangji about the incident. "It wasn't like he did you, and... Second Young Master Lan might—" Tiao Reinshun clears her throat, "Anyways, you don't have to worry about it and just tell him. The more you prolong at hiding it, the more will it be difficult."

Still, Wei Wuxian hides it for many years, and just what his sister have said, it become even more difficult to say, and her existence within the Gusu, close to Lan Wangji has become frightening for Wei Wuxian.

"Young Master Wei! Welcome back from your seclusion, you should have informed me that you are finally back." Qin Su spoke as soon as she gotten close to the two Young Master that halted on their steps; the way Qin Su said this is like Wei Wuxian has all obligation to her, which made Lan Wangji curious. "Oh! Greetings to Second Young Master Lan."

Right now, Wei Wuxian wishes that any of his siblings would suddenly pop out of no where and pulls him and Lan Wangji, or better Qin Su.

Lan Wangji nodded to her in response; he knew her, of course, there are times that she would come with her parents on several occasion, although they never once got a chance to talk to each other because for some reason unknow by him, Tiao Reinshun and the other kids would pull her away or him and Wei Wuxian. Though, even he could have a chance to talk with her, he has no interest to do so.

"Lady Qin Su... what are you doing here?" Wei Wuxian is at unease, he trying to find an excuse to leave her, and pull away Lan Wangji.

"I'm here for you Young Master Wei! I'm here to give my regards for your come back."

"You really come here in Gusu just for that?"

"Like I said earlier, you didn't inform me of coming out from your seclusion, and isn't only natural to welcome your future partner?"

'Fuck!' Wei Wuxian just wants to curse her.

This is what he afraid of, her claims of becoming his wife. Its fine if she only do it with Tiao Reinshun, but now to Lan Wangji?!

"Future partner?" Wei Wuxian frightens, this is what he was afraid the most... telling Lan Wangji the incident is one, but how will he explain why he doesn't tell him that thing right full away?

"Listen Lan Zhan!"

"Oh, we're going to engage soon!"

"STOP!!!" it loud, so very loud, clearly that certain rule has been broken, but Wei Wuxian doesn't care anymore, he must stop her from going more in detail.

Lan Wangji gives him a side glance, waiting... waiting for what? For an explanation? What explanation? For not telling him that someone has try to touch his Wei Ying? Or why Wei Wuxian is hiding this thing to him for so many years.

Wei Wuxian is panting heavily, his chest is pounding in fear.

He just simply doesn't want Lan Wangji to hate him!

Even until now, that Jin Guangshan is being punished greatly at maze, and even it did not happen, it still frighten Wei Wuxian, that his whole body is trembling and there are times this memories would become nightmare that choking him, worst, the dream even went overboard and the deal has been occur, that he would wake at morning shaking, felt all dirty and wishes he just have died back then.

He never once tells this to anyone, as he never wants them to worry about him. Although—like Tiao Reinshun said, it's no big deal, for Wei Wuxian and Wei Wuxian's body it is a big deal.

"Wei Ying..." the always cold voice of Lan Wangji snaps Wei Wuxian from his thoughts.

"Lan... Zhan..."

"It is true? Why you never tell me?"

"That's..."

Wei Wuxian wanted to collapse there, right at that instant, but to his and Qin Su's bewilderment, it is Lan Wangji who collapse and fell unconscious.

Immediately, right before Lan Wangji hits the ground, Wei Wuxian caught him through reflex and gotten worried.

"Lan Zhan! LAN ZHAN! LAN ZHAN!" he calls his named for many times, shaking his body, but there's no response. "LAN ZHAN!"
