. And yes I'm posting this on Shibuya incident. Two reasons 1 today trauma comes back , so I wanted to write something cute instead 2 red string is already going Angsty I might do something devastating in the book if I wrote the plot on Shibuya incident day(which I'm gonna do at some point in fic ). So a special chapter enjoy. Thanks for 11K reads.

It was around midnight, shoko had to leave the infirmary. So she asked Itadori to come over to keep an eye on you because she had noticed you're quite acquainted with the boy. "Thanks Itadori-kun for taking over here" The brunette said, packing up her things. "It's fine really, after all I'm [Y/N]'s friend" Yuji replied with his usual smile plastered on his face, as he took a seat beside your asleep form on infirmary bed. 

Shoko raised her eyebrows slightly at the term 'friend' , letting out a quiet chuckle. "Sure friends, " her tone holding a hint of sarcasm and then she added " Anyways don't get worried, it's just concussion she had from her past mission." With that the doctor left, leaving the two teenagers by themselves.

The pink haired boy stared at the ceiling, bored from simply sitting. An idea popped into his mind. He got up from his seat and walked over to you. Yuji pulled out his phone, turning the back camera to you and trying hilarious filters on your face initially taking pictures too. He stifled his laughter so as to not wake you up. 

Subconsciously,he brushed his fingers against your cheek. His fingers took the skin between them, stretching your cheek. He felt the warmth on his fingertips as he caressed, more like pinched your cheeks. Though the sweet moment of tranquility was broken as you grabbed his hand. 

You opened your eyes, looking at him questioningly "What were you doing?" You asked the pink haired boy, raising your eyebrows. He blinked several times to snap out of his shock. A flush crept on his face as he stuttered "well..i..i..was" 

"The brat was touching you." the king of curses spoke through his mouth , which formed temporarily on Yuji's cheek. The pink haired boy slapped a hand over Sukuna's mouth , later sheepishly rubbing his nape. 

You sat up , your legs dangling down from the infirmary bed. You looked up at him. "Now I'm awake.. so let's go back to dorms. No need for us to stay here" you say, getting off from bed to leave the infirmary. He nodded, following behind you as you two made your way towards the dormitories buildings. 

"Tch.. it's past curfew. We cannot go." You grumbled under your breath noticing the locks on the grille of dorm building. Itadori stuffed his hands in his pocket and sighed. "Yuji.." you called out to him, he turned his head towards you raising his eyebrows. "Do you think the door on rooftop for staircase will be open?" He nodded answering your que"Yeah, because I've been there quite a few times at night. But why do you ask ? It's not like we could climb the building or something and then use staircase"

"That's what we are doing exactly" 

"WHAT!" 

You summoned one of your curses which has a massive size and got on top of it . You held out your hand to the pink haired boy and gestured for him to get on the curse too. He put his hands into yours and stepped on the curse's back , sitting behind you. Your both hands gripped the ear like structure on the both side of curse's head . 

"Yuji, hold onto me" 

He shifted closer to you , his chest pressing against your back as he wrapped his arms around your waist from behind. The curse leaps upwards into the air, it's body turning vertically. You held it's ears tighter , while the boy behind you held more firmly. "I never thought I'll be flying on a curse" he giggles, the breath hitting your ear. 

The curse lands on top of the roof, letting two of you down before disappearing. Yuji had a grin plastered on his face after the experience of flying on a curse. "So let's go" You said, walking past him though halted when he tugged on the red string on your wrist. "Can't we just sit here for a while? The sky seems beautiful tonight." 

"If you say so" you shrugged and without much thought went over the edge and sat there. Your legs dangling. He came and sat beside you. Both of you were silently gazing at the stars. His gaze fixed on the starry sky above while yours was on him. The moonlight, the only source of light on the rooftop falling on his face making him look...ethereal. Or perhaps it was just your own vision. 

" Y/N..I want you to go out with me..."

His eyes turned towards you. You felt the need to look away after being caught staring but decided against it, looking back into his eyes. "Going out?" You tilted your head , wondering when was the plan to hang out was made.  "Fine i guess...but I'll tell you already. Don't complain when nobara drags me for clothes" you added. He shook his head chuckling. "No.. it's just two of us. In Okinawa" he scooted closer to you, resting his hand over yours.

The pink haired boy fidgets with the straps of the bag slung over his shoulder. "C'mon Yuji you can do it." He mutters to himself before knocking on your dorm's door. He heard you say come in from inside. He turned the knob and stepped inside your room.  His gaze going over to your struggling form to tie up your hair. 

"May I help?" 

"Yes please" You answered him immediately, too fed up with trying to get your hair done. He walked behind you, taking the comb from your hair. "Sorry I'm not good at this" he mutters, combing through your hair occasionally brushing his fingers against them. "Me neither" you shrug trying to act nonchalant though feeling your chest flutter. 

"So are we ready to go?" You nodded at his question. He checked if he had everything. "I've got my bag, I got my phone, I got an extra hoodie, I got Y/N. Everything's checked let's go" . 

It was weekend and most of the students at jujutsu tech were asleep, while you two left for Okinawa. It was pretty packed up in the train to Okinawa. "Seriously? Why everyone had to come on train today?" Yuji mumbles, trying to get inside the train with you. He grabbed your hand and pulled you along with him. "Don't want you getting separated from me okay?" He flashes you a grin. You interlocked your fingers with his and boarded the train to Okinawa.

The train ride to Okinawa was longer than expected. On top of that , Yuji didn't told you what you two were gonna do there. It was afternoon when you two reached Okinawa. 

" Finally we're here" he said as you two stood at the platform, watching the train depart.  "So what now?" You look over to him, wondering what next. "Soki soba" you tilted your head at his words , it sounds like food. "We came all this way just for food?" He shook his head at your words. "Well I woke up a bit late so I wasn't able to have breakfast. But if you wanna hang out first we'll do that " 

You took his hand. "Lead the way. You're gonna eat first" A smile cracked on his face as he led the way to a local restaurant in Okinawa. Your gaze roaming across the streets of Okinawa filled with people trying street food, taking pictures, couples holding hands and walking together .

Couples holding hands and what —why you and Yuji are doing the same , you two are not a couple. You pulled your hand away slowly at the thought, now feeling awkward about it. 

Both of you entered a restaurant and took the table by the window. You propped up your elbow, resting your chin in your palm. You watched people pass by through the window. "Do you want to also order something?" Yuji asked, taking a seat. You shook your head, not feeling hungry at all. 

Your gaze going over to a little girl struggling to carry the soft toy twice her size . 'Those kind of aquatic animals soft toys are still famous huh?' you thought, noticing the soft toy in her hand. You used to have two of it. You remembered Saturo and Suguru brought them for you from their trip to Okinawa with Amanai in their teens. Their competition to see whose gift you'll choose led you to owning to two of the soft toys. Your gaze softened, remembering about it. 

"[Y/N]" 

"[Y/N]" 

"[Y/N]" 

You snapped out of your thoughts and turned to Yuji. You raised your eyebrow asking what. "Taste it" he said, extending the chopsticks with the soba towards you. You leaned front, taking it. "Nobara will like it." you commented, leaning back to your seat. 

After leaving the restaurant, Yuji still refused to tell where you two were going. You groaned in annoyance, he's dead set on keeping secrets. "I rented a bicycle" he beamed and added "we'll use this to get there." He mounted on bicycle and told you to sit on the seat behind. "I won't fall right?" You ask, getting on the seat. "You literally fly on curses and you ask this?" He chuckled and started pedalling.

Soon you two were in another part of Okinawa, the one for tourists. Yuji was about to brake the bicycle and stop but before that you jumped off the bicycle after seeing a certain place you've always wanted to go. "[Y/N]!" He shrieked and got off the bicycle, locking it. "This is the place i wanted to bring you, the aquarium" he said, a smile playing on his lips at sight of your lit up eyes. 

You both explored the aquarium in Okinawa, walking side by side, his hands brushing against yours. Beautiful blue lights illuminating on both of your faces. Your eyes fixated on the aquatic animals in the glasses. While Yuji was looking at you. He has never seen you so eager over something and it was endearing. He pulled out his phone to click some pictures of the beauty here. 

You ran around, making your way to different spots there. Your eyes dialating on the beautiful creatures. You always wanted to come to an aquarium. Your heart feels like it will explode from joy, all because of Yuji.

Next stop was the beach. It was almost dark by now, only few people present there. You and him sure spent a lot of time in the aquarium. You took off your shoes, walking on the sand barefoot. Yuji was already by the shore, when you reached him he splashed water on you. "Hey!" You instinctively raised your arms but the damage was done. Your hair was drenched in salty water. 

He stood there with his dorky smile. You splashed some water on him, in return. He once again splashed water on you, completely drenching you. Realising you're probably gonna do the same to him, he ran . You chased behind him, while he laughed gleefully. 

He turned around, taking both your hands into his and spinning with you. It felt pleasantly but he was going too fast with it.

"Yuji stop! It's too fast" 

"But it's fun " 

"My hand is slipping " 

"I'm holding onto it" 

Both of you fell down on your asses as your hands slipped from his. He was in a fit of laughter. Though he watched you closely, he never saw your eyes so bright. 

You sat on a bench while he was going through his bag. "Here it is " he said, pulling out a hoodie and holding it out for you. "Wear it, you're completely drenched" you took the hoodie from him and put it on. You both went back to train station on the bicycle. A calming silence settling over you two. 

You got off the bike and waited for him to do so. "I'll go return this cycle, you wait for me" he said, reminding you of the fact the bicycle was rented. You nodded, watching him leave to return back the bicycle. 

This was honestly the best day you've ever had. You finally get to see an aquarium. You played with him on the beach. More importantly you spend some good time with him. Something you could look back too. 

He returned back to where you were with something tucked under his arm. Isn't that the same soft toy? Your eyes dialated, he smiled seeing your reaction. "I thought of getting this for you something you could look at and remember today" he handed you the soft toy. You pulled it to your chest. 

"Dad I always want a man who buys me soft toys" the daughter of the nearby passing family exclaimed at the sight of the two teenagers. The father of the little girl sighed and ruffled her hair " right now I'm the only man who'll get you everything" . 

The train ride was relatively quite with two of you tired from all the fun you two had. Your head on his shoulder and his head on top of yours as you two dozed off.
