You sat by the bench near the pond which is present at the grounds back of dormitories. You rubbed your hands together to warm yourself up. It was foolish to not wear any gloves or a scarf. But you couldn't be blamed , you was way too excited but at the end all you experience now is disappointment.

When the second year male came back from Africa , you banged on everyone's door to wake them up early on a winter morning because with your senior, you was also expecting someone else. Your excitement got so better of you in that moment that you stepped out without any gloves or scarf only to just met with Okkotsu Yuta but not him. Saturo didn't gave any reaction to his absence too,perhaps you was the only one expecting him. And now here you are at the pond by yourself because you don't want to ruin other's mood just because you feel angry and sad. You escaped quietly from the group .

You rubbed your hands together, the air coming in puffs of fog from your mouth due to the cold. You glanced at the pond, wondering the fishes in there are alive or not. This spot is quite peaceful. You would've never realised it, if it wasn't for Yuji to bring you here after the date. Not a date perhaps, it was your delusion that the day you two hung out was a date because he clearly didn't say if it was a date or just a hang out.

Oh speak of the devil..

"Sheesh [Y/N]! You'll catch a cold like this" The pink haired boy exclaimed, jogging over to your side. He took a seat beside you on the bench, taking your both hands into his and began rubbing them ,making you feel warm. "You ran off earlier.."He began speaking, his voice laced with a hint of worry. "I get that you must be upset about him not being present now. But, just like always you have everyone here to fill that place." Everyone he says.... but he's the one who's been filling the place of the person you open up your heart to. He might just replace the original one.

Yuji loosened the scarf around his neck and pulled it off. He held the scarf in his hand for a moment, his gaze coming back to your face before he wrapped the woolen scarf around you. You sit still observing the slight tint of red over his ear tips.

"You won't catch a cold now..it must be warm right?"

"Yes...but what about you?"

"I'm fine. Besides I must've been looking like an idiot wearing a scarf when there's a hood to my uniform"

"Then why did you wear it in first place?"

"Extra caution I guess"

"Extra caution?"

"Nevermind let's just go. Kugisaki is already at Okkotsu-senpai's throat. We need you to pull her off him"

He stood up , pulling you along by tugging on the red string on your wrist. A faint smile appeared on your face as you two walk back to everyone. Perhaps you can diverge your mind about him by spending time with others. And in the hallways of dormitories there is Kugisaki on her full guard because when she snapped at the second year male , his curse Rika appeared for the protection. The reason the brunette decided to pick a fight is that Yuta made Tokyo school win the previous year's exchange event due to which this year she didn't got the opportunity to visit Kyoto.

You summoned one of your curses that you absorbed and gestured it to go between Yuta and Nobara. The same time Rika's curse and the nails of Nobara's curse technique came towards eachother however your curse going in middle caused the both attacks directed to it.

Absorbing curses wasn't an easy task nor pleasant. And whenever something happens to your curses during fights or you lose them, it irks you. Just like now, your face pressed into a thin line. Your eyes darted to the broom that was placed against the wall of the hallways. You grabbed it and put it between the brunette and the dark haired senior.

"How are you two gonna pay for my loss?"

Nobara sweat dropped and stayed silent. It was usual here, you getting angry over your curses and calming down in few minutes. Everyone here is used to this and except for Okkotsu Yuta. He scratched the back of his neck and asked "So what am I supposed do for fixing this?"

"Give me your curse then" You bluntly demanded. The green haired female who was leaned against the wall almost lost her balance. Yuta should have just let you be just like Nobara did. You swing the broom though it didn't hit him, just pointed at him. The second year boy had a sense of deja vu by the sudden bluntness and attack.

"Women here are crazy" Megumi muttered who was standing nearby. "Agreed" Okkotsu added with a timid tone. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" You and Kugisaki yelled at the second year at the same time. A chuckle was heard from behind you. "Poor Yuta, always getting bullied by the girls at the first meet" You heard the voice of the person you know all too well. His hand lands on top of your head, ruffling your hair affectionately.

You turn your head instantly to meet with the sight of your elder brother. Your eyes go wide, taking a sharp inhale to suppress the tears. The older male smiled softly, pulling you by his side and giving his little sister a side hug. For one year he was away. One year ago, when you lost control over your curses which resulted into murder of your parents and higher ups resorting to the red strings . 'Coincidentally' they also send Suguru to Africa for being Okkotsu Yuta's trainer in the same month of the accident.

"Not gonna introduce me to your friends?" You nodded at your elder brother's words, pulling away reluctantly and sniffling. "The second years you already know, Nanako and mimiko I don't know where they are , y'know Megumi too. This is nobara and this is--" before you can introduce Yuji, he interrupted. "I'm Itadori Yuji . Pleasure to meet you" The boy introduced enthusiastically but there was a hint of nervousness as he gave a slight bow of head.

The older male nodded and smiled "Nice to meet you too. I'm Geto suguru, new teacher for second years. I've heard a lot about you. " The older geto introduced himself and also made the announcement of being the new teacher for the second years. You felt relieved now that he's gonna stay here .

"THOSE TWO ! THEY ALWAYS LEAVE ME ALONE!" You exclaimed with a dramatic gasp and slumped into your seat. Apparently your two childhood bestfriends : Nanako and mimiko they went for new year's shopping without you. You met them through your elder brother. They lived in Jujutsu school's dormitories and their expenses were handled by higher ups in exchange of working as sorcerers in future. And due to your frequent visits here, you three became the trio of bestfriends. But as they say there's a duo in a trio, those two sisters was the duo.

The elder geto sibling sighed meanwhile saturo was busy scrolling through Pinterest for new year's decoration ideas. "NOW I UNDERSTAND HOW SHOKO-CHAN MUST FEEL WITH BOTH OF YOU!" And there you go again, expressing your despair in a high pitched voice. Your elder brother missed everything about you except this.

"Ugh, [Y/N] stop being so loud"

"I HAVE FULL RIGHT TO DEFEND SHOKO-CHAN I WON'T LET HER BE A VICTIM LIKE ME!"

"Your protests can be done without yelling "

You huffed and crossed your arms. The white haired male across you chuckled "c'mon we're older than you. You shouldn't raise your voice at the elders" His voice had a teasing edge to it. "ELDERS , ELDERS , ELDERS. DO THEY REALLY DESERVE MY RESPECT? LIVIN' EXAMPLE ARE HIGHER UPS!" The elder geto sibling now really wonders if his sister is having a rebellious Arc going on or something . "BUT I AND SUGURU DESERVE RESPECT! BESIDES WE DON'T DO PARTIALITY TO SHOKO!" Saturo retorted in the equal loud tone. The dark haired male beside gojo sighed , rubbing his temple. He was better off in Africa because Yuta isn't a problematic kid like his sister and bestfriend.

"ALL GUILTY PEOPLE SAY THEY HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG SATURO-NII! BESIDES WHY SHOULD I RESPECT YOU TWO?" One moment you was all sad and grumpy your brother wasn't present and now you're rebelling.

"BECAUSE I'M YOUR TEACHER "

"And I'm your brother"

"But that's my girl"

Shoko walked in and stood behind the chair you was sitting on and chimed in,placing her hands on your shoulders. You looked up at her, eyes narrowing on the cigarette between her lips. "I wonder what's so good about them that you're so addicted to it" You mumbled and snatched the cigarette from her ,placing it between your lips. The trio's jaw dropped . Suguru's expression turned stern and he looked like he'll snap any moment. You shot up in your seat ,backing away.

"[Y/N] THROW AWAY THE CIGARETTE NOW!" Your elder brother yelled ,standing up too. You threw the cigarette and then sprinted out of the room to save yourself from his lecture. "WAIT GET BACK ! [Y/N]!" Suguru stomped out, following behind you. Saturo and shoko looked at you then at eachother and began cackling. It's been a year they have seen the shenanigans of geto siblings.

You ran ,taking long strides giggling uncontrollablely. Pushing past your friends in the way, glancing back every now and then to see where suguru is. Due to this you bumped into the person in your way. He held your arms firmly so that you don't fall. You turn your head front , your eyes meeting yuji's brown ones. The corners of your lips raised more, your hand reaching to his wrist. You pulled him along and once again began your runway. He stumbled slightly before catching up with you.

"Why are we running?"

"Stamina "

The pink haired boy just look at you weirded out. Though after some moments , He ran giggling too with you. Your hand sliding down from his wrist, and interwinig the fingers. He returned the gesture by squeezing a little.

You halted when Nanami came into the way. Your body leaning downwards to 45⁰ degree without falling. "Yuji , Nanamin .My real brother is Michael Jackson" Nanami sighed while The pink haired boy chuckled pulling you upto your feet. Your chest heaved up and down as you catch your breath. Yuji was panting too.

"[Y/N] GETO !"

Oh damn, Suguru caught up. An imaginary light bulb appeared above your head. "Nanamin" you started off in a solemn tone. " Aniki is assigned for Yuji's execution. Yuji haven't done anything wrong and I'm gonna save him. So keep Aniki away from us right now" Dread washed over the blonde male and the boy beside you at your statements.

Here Yuji was brainstorming about ways of impressing your brother to get his approval while the man is just here for his execution. Though he felt a flutter in his chest that you were willing to protect him from your brother. The elder geto sibling came to a stop infront of all of you. His hands on his knees as he panted to catch his breath. The blonde male came infront of you and Yuji, his other hand extended front with his weapon, protectively keeping you two behind.

"Nanami... Y'know this brat-" Suguru spoke between panting but his words were soon cut off by Nanami's sharp tone "I'm on [Y/N]'s side. I'm not gonna let you do something to Itadori" . The ravenette's brows furrowed and he asked perplexed "why would I do something to Itadori?" The blonde male tilted his head, confusion washing over him too but he still kept his guard up. "You must be following the higher ups order's to execute him but I suppose you're well aware of that this is wrong" Geto raised his hands up in defense at Nanami's accusations. "Hold up. What orders, I don't have any order to kill Itadori and besides why would I do that? Who told you that?"

Nanami and Yuji pointed their fingers at you. You chuckle awkwardly, a bead of sweat forming on your forehead. The elder geto sibling groaned, day by day his sister turns more troublesome.

"[Y/N] what am I supposed to do with you"

"Treat me as a princess"

"You are enough spoiled . We don't want someone breaking saturo's record"

"I already did"

"Sure you did"
