12: Your house
You fluttered opened your eyes while slowly regaining your conciousness after a long deep slumber.
"Fuck!"
Cursing at the throbbing pain in your head you lifted your upper body and sat straight taking in the view of your new surrounding making your eyes wide.
'Is this heaven?'
You glanced at the enormous room almost double the size of a normal bedroom, screaming expensive on your face.
You were on a large king sized bed having a tan coloured coverlet and a dark brown shade of duvet was resting on you.
Right above you was a magnificent crystal chandelier hanging from the cream coloured false ceiling.
You turned to your left, seeing your reflection in the huge mirror of the dressing table decorated by fresh white roses in a black vase.
You took a deep breath and placed your barefoot on the cold white marble floor and got off from the bed. You walked towards the right side of the room and held the long curtains before opening them wide making your eyes blind at the sudden brightness.
Groaning slightly, you protected your eyes from the glowing sunlight and peered through the tall glass windows.
Right in front of you was a beautiful forest spreading in a large distance where your vision can't even reach. One thing you knew for sure that this wasn't the same forest you were held hostage before which was making you nervous.
You tried to open the window but couldn't succeed. It had no handle.
Huffing out in frustration you turned around on your foot stomping your way towards the door beside the dressing table. You held the handle and pushed it down not having any hopes that it will unlocked.
But to your surprise the door opened.
Giving a last glance back at the room, you stepped out of the room and closed the door behind you.
'There is no way they left this door open for you.'
Your eyes wandered at the luxurious and fancy royal corridor leaving you stunned. Gulping loudly, you started making your way through the corridor eyeing all the portraits and painting of so many people hanging on the wall. You wanted to give time to appreciate these magistic and artistic paintings but this was not the right time. You have to know where are you and how to get out of here.
After five minutes of walk, passing through four to five doors that came in your view, you halted in front of the stairs as your heart skipped a beat when you gazed down at the massive living area.
This was not just a simple house or building, it was a huge freaking luxurious place even larger than the building you were captured in.
Holding the white marbled railing, you strolled down moving your eyes at the huge chandelier at the centre of the living room above the set of a victorian pewter (grey) coloured couch.
After stepping down from the last stair you walked around the living area and noticed two more corridors on both sides to the right of a huge picture frame standing above the small fireplace situated right across the couch.
Just as you were about to properly get a glimpse of the picture frame, you heard footsteps approaching your way making you immediately turn around only to be taken aback after seeing an elder woman standing in front of you with a wide smile.
You looked her from head to toe in confusion because of her odd attire.
She was wearing a victorian themed royal blue gown reaching down till her ankles. The dress looked a little tight from the torso but was loose from her waist area. She had only a light makeup revealing her wrinkles and lines on her glowing face. Her dark brown hair was tied up into a simple stylish bun with a silver plated hairpin tugged in it and the only jewelry she wore was a gold pendant around her neck that was holding a sapphire stone in between.
"How are you dear?"
Her sweet voice filled your ears as you finally looked back at her face and sighed loudly.
"Miss, where am I?" You politely asked the woman who gently placed her hand on your shoulder and leaned closer to your face.
"You are at your new home."
My What?
You furrowed your eyebrows and took a step back from her wondering if you heard her right.
"Miss, this is not my home. I was kidnapped by some men-"
"Brought. Not kidnapped."
She abruptly spoke cutting your words making you look at her puzzled. Her sweet smile was long gone. Just as you were trying to understand her words, your eyes finally noticed something.
Those exact same grey coloured eyes.
"W-who are you?"
Uneasiness spread in your whole body and you quickly took many steps away from the woman who was now having a wicked smile.
"I am your mother, dear."
"What? You are not my mother! I don't even know you."
Chills went down your spine when she started chuckling loudly titling her head to side.
"Now you know me. I am your mother and this is your new house."
What rubbish is she saying?
You shook your head and spinned around to walk away from that crazy woman in search of a way out from this place until she said something that made you froze on your place.
"You can't get out of here Y/n. Not until I let you."
Snapping your head back, you glared at that women and stormed back towards her.
"What do you mean? Just who the fuck are you and where am I?!"
You yelled at her getting irritated by her presence who suddenly stopped smiling.
"Never raise your voice in front of me."
You swear your whole body shivered when she looked at you with a maniac stare before she quickly smiled again catching you off gaurd.
"That's one of the main rules of this house."
You literally couldn't understand what was happening. You remember Jungkook injecting you with something before leaving you in the car. Then how did you ended up here?
Honestly, if you would have woken up in a dark room with your hands tied, you wouldn't have freaked out much. That was better for you than waking up in a luxurious place and being told by a strange old woman that this is your house and she is your so-called mother.
"Oh dear. Don't be confused. You will understand everything."
That woman glanced at you in pity and looked at another figure approaching at your way that you didn't noticed at all.
"Yuna."
The woman called out the name of the figure behind you with a displeased tone giving her a hard stare.
"Yes, Mother."
You saw a young woman around your age only standing beside you with her head down and her hands clasped together in front. She was wearing a simple full length peach coloured frock covering her full body including her arms.
"You know what you have to do right?"
Yuna nodded her head and lifted her head giving you a glimpse of her face that actually made you worried for this woman.
Her small thin face was so pale and worned out. She also had a light makeup that wasn't able to hide her dark circle under her blank eyes.
One could easily guess she was not taking a good care of herself.
"Please follow me."
She finally looked at your way forwarding her hand towards the stairs. You looked back at that woman and was about to say something to her until Yuna whispered lowly.
"Please Y/n. Don't protest."
She was looking- no she was actually begging you with those eyes to not to go against this woman.
You rolled your tongue back and gave a quick glance at the smiling woman before nodding your head at Yuna who sighed in relief.
"Have a good time."
That woman chimed behind your back but you didn't looked behind and followed Yuna upstairs.
****
"Yuna, please tell me what is happening? Why am I here? And where is this place? Yesterday I was taken by these three men-"
"Y/n. Calm down."
She closed the door behind her and smiled at you softly. You sighed loudly and rubbed your forehead as you slumped on the bed.
You both were back in that room where you woke up which is supposedly your room according to Yuna.
"Here."
A glass of water was in front of you as you mumbled a small thank you to Yuna and quickly gulped it down your throat. You don't even remember when was the last time you had a sip of water.
Yuna put the empty glass on the lamp table before sitting beside you.
"Where am I?"
You finally asked her with a calm voice who replied with a small smile.
"In your house."
You groaned and held her shoulder turning her around so you can face her.
"Yuna, this is not my house. I live in Seoul in a small apartment with Yoongi-"
Yuna eyed your face that fell into a silent despair as tears instantly formed in your eyes. You released a small breathe and lowered your head when tears dropped on your hand.
"I can understand."
Yuna sighed in sadness and took you in her embrace when small sobs escaped from your trembling lips. She carrased your hair as you clutched her dress crying hard.
"T-they k-killed him. Yuna, t-they killed both Y-Yoongi and L-Lia. "
You tried to speak in between your crying but the tight knot in your throat was not letting you to do so.
You still couldn't digest the fact that they are gone. Yoongi is gone.
"You have to be strong Y/n.
Be strong for the ones you have lost."
She pulled out from the hug and gently wiped your tears before cupping your face in her warm hands.
"I can feel your pain of losing someone you never dreamt of. But, please you have to be strong. This place is not for weak people."
"Yuna, please tell me what is all this? This is not my house and why that woman is saying she is my mother?"
You grabbed her hands pleading her desperately for the answers that you need.
Yuna released a long breath and lowered her hand as gloominess masked her pale face.
"Y/n......You are one of those rare people who have the blessings from the God himself."
She lifted her hand and pointed her finger on your right arm.
"You are one of us."
