Juniper had never seen anything other than The Ark. It was supposed to be her home but it never felt like it, being orbited around in space. Sure, she had a great life being the daughter of a councilman. Juniper Green was apart of the privileged with her two best friends, Wells - the chancellors son- and Clarke - a councilman and councilwoman's daughter. 

But Junipers life changed when she was playing hide and seek with Wells and Clarke at the age of six. Juniper was hiding in a crate for three hours whilst Wells and Clarke had to find her. They never did and Juniper tried to get out by the crate door was shut. She pounded against it and soon enough it opened and as she stood up, her eyes met with a boy about five years older than her. He looked mature for a ten year old with his combed back hair, muscular physique and daring eyes.

"Thank you." Juniper whispered cautiously as he helped her out of the box. He smiled a little as he placed his hands in his pocket.

"Somebody had placed a crate on top." He explained as he pointed to the create behind Juniper. "Why were you in a crate anyway?" He asked and Juniper crossed her arms over. 

"If you must know, I was playing hide and seek with my best friends." Juniper answered as they walked back to the mess hall in a bid to find Juniper's friends. It was like little and large as they walked together down the grey, dull halls.

"Take it they are bad then." He replied sheepishly as they reached the mess hall. Two figures came rushing over to the pair of children.

"Juni, where have you been?!" Juniper's Mom asked as she clutched her daughter. Soon enough Guards were clutching onto the boy. Juniper pushed away her Mom and stood on the guards foot who was holding her savior.

"Let him go, he saved me!" The child shouted as she furrowed her thick brows. The guard refused because Juniper's dad had not given them the all clear to let him go. 

"BELLAMY!" A woman's voice shrieked as she pushed past people. Juniper looked at the boy, realizing that was his Mom. Bellamy was scared as the guards clutched onto him. Juniper held onto her Mom's hand as a tear slipped down her olive-skinned face.

"Mom, please they are hurting him. Dad, please." Juniper begged before she gave Bellamy a sympathetic look. Juniper's dad waved his hand and the guards let go of Bellamy, Juniper meant to run to Bellamy but her dad held her back.

"What were you doing?!" He asked sternly as he pointed a finger at his daughter. Juniper sniffed a little before she wiped her tears away.

"I was playing hide and seek with Wells and Clarke. I hid in a crate and then nobody came to find me. I was stuck in that crate for a long time before Bellamy saved me." Juniper explained as she pointed to Bellamy who was hugging his Mom. That was until his Mom came hurdling up to Juniper's parents. Juniper sneaked away from her parents and walked up to Bellamy.

"Bellamy." He introduced as he held out his hand. "You are Juniper?" He asked and Juniper kept her little eyes on the bruise forming on Bellamy's arm.

"You can call me Juni, my friends call me Juni." Juniper smiled before she hugged the ten-year-old. That was when their friendship started, they soon enough became the best of friends despite their age gap. Juniper even became friends with Octavia and kept her completely secret. Their friendship fizzled out when they turned twelve and sixteen, Juniper spent more time with Octavia then Bellamy, it was a age thing.

But a few years later, when Juniper was fifteen they rekindled their friendship when she congratulated Bellamy for joining the guard. That was also when 'Red Robin' was born. 

Juniper started 'Red Robin' when she saw someone die because of lack of medical attention and food. She lived a life of privilege on The Ark, she still passed some subjects despite failing their tests because her dad bribed people, she never went hungry and always got what she wanted. Some people never had that. 

So one day, she woke up in the middle of the night, stole her Dad's key card and took it to a boy in her class who said he could duplicate it for some 'herbs'. Juniper did the trade and swore him to secrecy about 'Red Robin'. She got the name from a story that her grandfather read to her when she was little, he was a chancellor in his day. It was the story about the Red Robin who flew across the world and as it did so, it sprinkled happiness to every place it went. Juniper wanted to be that 'Red Robin' and the first they were going to help was Bellamy by giving him some extra rations. They needed it for Octavia. 

So in the dead of the night, she slipped on a red cloak that she made and crept down the eerie hallways and into the ration storage. She took five and slipped them into her cloak pocket before she left it in the mess hall with Bellamy's name and a picture of a Red Robin.

The next day, as always, she walked to the mess hall with Bellamy for food. 

"How is your training going?" Juniper asked as she pointed to Bellamy's bloody knuckles. The blood had dried in with a crimson color. 

"I'm getting there." Bellamy answered honestly as they followed everyone else down the corridors. "You should join the guard, you know. They haven't got a fighter like you." He added as he smirked down at Juniper. Juniper smiled back at him as she began to blush. She had never blushed before when Bellamy gave her a compliment, why now?

"I would rather not join the system who is tyrannical." 

"Your Dad is apart of the tyrannical system?" Bellamy replied confused as he elbowed Juniper's side playfully. 

"Don't remind me." Juniper groaned as whispers got louder. "What's going on?" She asked coy as she held onto Bellamy's hand and pulled him through the crowd. Juniper was looking at her handy work with the people. 

"Bellamy Blake!" A voice echoed throughout the Mess Hall. Bellamy gave Juniper a confused looked before he pushed past her to see what is going on. "What is the meaning of this?" Chancellor Jaha asked as he held up the extra rations. 

"The meaning of what, Chancellor?" Bellamy asked confused as he walked closer to Jaha. 

"These have been given to you by Red Robin." Jaha explained as he took a step closer to Bellamy. Bellamy ran his fingers through his hair with a confused expression.

"Red who, Chancellor?" Bellamy asked as he looked down at the red robin drawing. "I have no idea what any of this is." Bellamy explained and Jaha could tell that he was telling the truth. 

"But you know the rules on The Ark, rations. We cannot give you these and you would much rather they were given to everyone else equally, wouldn't you?" Jaha asked loudly trying to make an example of him. Juniper cursed under her breath as she crossed her arms over. 

"Yes, Chancellor." Bellamy said through gritted teeth. He wanted that food because truth was he had not had a decent meal in years, he was sharing what little he got with Octavia. 

"Excellent. Well done, Son." Jaha smiled sincerely before he began to look at everyone. " Red Robin, whoever this person claims to be, should stop what they are doing. Or they will be floated." Jaha warned before he walked off, with Kane and Juniper's Dad following behind him. 

"Hey, what happened?" Clarke and Wells asked simultaneously as they walked up to Juniper. Juniper kept her eyes on Bellamy, who walked up to his friends from the Guard. 

"This Red Robin just gifted Bellamy ration packets. But Jaha took them away from him." Juniper explained and Clarke raised her eyebrow.

"Red Robin?" She asked confused and Juniper laughed at Clarke's reaction. 

"Who knows? I hope they reoccur though. They seem cool." Juniper smiled to herself as Wells rolled his eyes at his friends radicalism. 

"Juni, you coming for breakfast?" Wells asked as he began to join the line with Clarke. Juniper nodded her head as she joined them. Later that night, Juniper went to Bellamy's place with ration packets. She left them at his door before she ran back to her room. 

Red Robin kept on striking, but instead of giving it to one person, she gave it to them all. By leaving medicine, food and other supplies in the mess hall with Red Robin drawings scattered all around the place. Kids used to stick the Red Robin drawings on their walls, but Jaha made it punishable by floating if anyone was seen supporting Red Robin. 

Soon enough, it was Juniper's big sixteenth birthday party. There was a massive party with Wells, Clarke and the councilman with their families. No Bellamy. Juniper's dad was very materialistic and liked to put on a show because he wanted to be chancellor. He soon enough realized it was the downfall of his family.

Juniper smiled at all the gifts she was getting, because she was just going to give it away. Act like Red Robin had stolen from her to move the scent away from her. Juniper waited until the party was over and left her friends to meet Bellamy at the window where they first met, with the crate. 

"Hey, solider." Juniper smiled as she walked up to Bellamy who smirked at her. She looked so different, dressed up like a princess.

"Happy Birthday, princess." He smirked as they hugged by the moon. Juniper felt safe in his arms, felt happy and content. "I got you something." Bellamy added happily and Juniper glared at him. She did not want any gifts, especially not from Bellamy because he needed resources. "What?" He laughed awkwardly. "It's from O too." He added and Juniper rolled her eyes.

"Take me to see her after this?" She asked and Bellamy nodded his head. 

"Mom has gone to see the captain anyway." Bellamy said as he avoided eye contact with Juniper. Juniper realized that she hit a nerve so she decided to cheer him up.

"What did you get me then?" She asked as she plopped herself down beside him at the window. Bellamy laughed before he pulled out a wooden box. 

"Open it, princess." He smirked as he stared Juniper right in the eye. Juniper exhaled before she opened the beautifully crafted box, Bellamy was always good with his hands. 

"Bellamy." Juniper whispered in awe as she picked up the pendant. "This is too much, that's pattasarite." Juniper whispered as she took in the crimson red pendant, her favorite color. Pattasarite was a stone that was found in 2090, they took as much as they could up to The Ark. It was extremely rare and very expensive. It was extremely beautiful and changed to a sky blue almost teal color underwater. She internally smiled as it reminded her of Red Robin

"It's nothing." Bellamy laughed off as he took the necklace from Juniper.

"Bell, this must have cost you an arm." Juniper groaned as Bellamy gently placed the necklace on her. 

"I just cannot be your date to the masquerade dance in a few months, I'm working it." Bellamy smiled as Juniper turned to face him. "Also most people don't protest when they get nice gifts, princess." Bellamy smirked smugly before Juniper hugged him. 

"Thank you." Juniper whispered gratefully in his ear before she nuzzled into his shoulder. As they pulled back they both looked each other in the eye. Juniper had never been inclined to do anything as dangerous as what she was away to do now. But Bellamy beat her too it when he crashed his lips onto hers. Juniper wrapped her arms around his neck as they continued to kiss. 

"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that. I shouldn't have." Bellamy explained panting for breath as Juniper cocked an eyebrow at him. "Are you sure you want to do thi-" Bellamy began to say before Juniper cut him off by kissing him.
