Flashback

After the reveal, Adrien and I became like brother and sister. The friendship I had with him was different than the rest. We had a special secret so we were bound at the hip.

I always joked around about him and Lila because the girl obviously wanted him. I enjoyed seeing the disgusted look Adrien would have on his face. He hated Lila but played nice which she took as flirting.

One day after a long night of fighting an akuma, Adrien and I were exhausted and the last thing we wanted to do was go to school. However, we were able to get each other out of bed since he stayed the night. I didn't want Adrien to leap around the city to his place when he was on the verge of passing out.

The two of us walked to school looking similar to zombies. The coffee hadn't kicked in. While I could handle caffeine, Adrien would end up bouncing off the walls and acting like a kid on Christmas. He was only allowed a certain amount.

"Mari, it's my turn," Adrien groaned reaching for the coffee.

"Kitty, we both know how you are with coffee. You have to wait a little longer for another gulp," I replied.

"But I'm so tired."

"Then you shouldn't have been keeping us both awake with stupid questions. You were fighting sleep just to annoy me."

Our bickering continued until we reached our seats. The gang was all in the back minus Alya. She was in the front next to Lila's empty seat. The girl knew all of us hated her, but she wanted to give Lila a chance.

Once Lila had started taking people away one by one, everyone took turns sitting next to me so they could "protect" me from the devil. It was sweet of them, but how they remember whose turn baffles me. By the looks of it, Adrien was my seat buddy. Good. Now we could sleep slightly against each other.

It was a couple minutes before class was to begin, so the teacher wasn't in yet. This would give Lila a bit of time to get her daily dose of attention.

"Hi everyone," Lila yelled as she walked through the door. Speak of the devil. She had a smile on her face until she saw Adrien and I sleeping on each other.

If I was actually awake, then I could prepare for the drama Lila was gonna start. I only woke up to the sound of wails. Slightly opening my eyes, I saw Lila pretending to cry. I nudged Adrien to wake him up.

"Five more minutes," Adrien quietly complained.

"Lila is coming this way," I whispered in his ear.

That woke him up. Adrien always was on guard to prevent her from touching him. Lila's desperation was disgusting honestly.

I heard my old friends who are now known as sheep running over to her.

"Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make a ruckus. It's just something happened and... and I couldn't help but tear up," Lila lied.

I turned around to Nino. "What happened this time?" I asked him quietly.

"Lila saw you and Adrien asleep on one another. Probably got jealous, but I have a bad feeling about this lie," Nino replied.

"Oh girl, what happened?" I heard Alya ask Lila.

"I don't know if I should say anything. I don't want her to hate me more. I can't handle anymore bullying."

I looked at Adrien eyes wide. "Cat, shit is about to go down."

"Lila. It's ok. Tell us who's bullying you," Rose said putting a hand on Lila's shoulder.

"Ma... Ma..." Lila stuttered for effect.

"Think she's going to say your name?" Kim asked me.

"Who else's name starts with Ma?" Alix asked.

"It was Marinette," Lila finished.

A wave of gasps echoed through the room before it feel silent.

"Marinette bullied you?" Max asked.

"I knew I shouldn't have said anything."

"And when did she do this?" Nino asked. He was giving her the death glare. If she continued her lie, I don't think I could stop Nino from killing Lila.

For a moment, it looked like she was going to shut her mouth, but once she saw Adrien put his arm protectively around me her mouth opened again.

"It was just before school underneath the stairs."

Adrien scoffed at that. "Marinette was with me. She hasn't left my side all day."

This seemed to make Lila more jealous. Stupid kitty was only trying to help.

"I didn't say it was today. The whole incident happened yesterday I think. I'm still in shock. I could be messing up the time."

"Dude, unfortunately for her, Marinette is never alone. One of us is always with her," Nino said still staring daggers.

"Not when she's using the bathroom." Lila really thought she had us there, but she forgot about Alix.

"Nope. Girls stick together, so we both accompany each other to the bathroom," Alix fought back.

"Next you're going to say she doesn't get to sleep alone."

"I was with her last night," Adrien piped in. "We had a sleepover. That's why we're both tired. How long did I keep us up until?"

"I lost track. I kept telling you how late it was but that only made you ask more questions. Who asks why it's called Good Friday when someone died? I don't know."

"Ok but it was a reasonable question Bug."

"Marinette just bullies me because she's jealous of my relationship with Adrien," Lila lied putting the attention back on her.

"Eww!" I yelled. "Adrien is like a little brother to me."

"What!? I'm older so how am I a younger brother?"

"It's your personality. You're like a goofy little kid at times."

"Fair. Anyways, what relationship Lila?"

Anyone with a brain could see that Lila was regretting her lie. Evidence was just stacked against her, and she was only digging herself a deeper grave with each lie.

To avoid the question, Lila ran out "crying".

"I can't believe you would bully someone Marinette," Mylene said.

"Did you seriously not pay any attention? None of what Lila said made any sense. Marinette never has any alone time because we're always trying to annoy her," Nathaniel said.

"Why would Lila lie?" Ivan asked.

"Attention. Jealous that Marinette gets to share a bed with Adrien. For fun. To get out of other lies she's made in the past," Kim replied.

"I thought I knew you," Alya said stomping over to me. "I called you my best friend, but secretly you were bullying an innocent person."

Nino stepped in front of Alya, so she couldn't get any closer to me. "I'd watch what you say Alya."

"Nino? You're siding with a bully instead of your own girlfriend?"

"I'm standing by the girl who I promised to protect the moment I met her. I'd put her before anyone else because that's what she always done for everyone. I siding with Marinette instead of my ex girlfriend."

My jaw dropped. Nino just broke up with Alya. Although there was a little doubt, I thought they'd be in it for the long run. The two were a solid couple for the most part. I think they had one semi serious fight but that was it.

"Ex!"

"Yes. I can't be with somebody who'd turn on their best friend in just a second. You're believing some new girl over Marinette even though the evidence is stacked against Lila."

After that the bell rung, the class went back to their seats. I turned behind me and looked at Nino. He was just angry. He wasn't sad like Alya was about the break up. Knowing him for so long, I could tell that Nino stood by his decision and didn't regret it. Some friendships are more valuable than relationships I guess.

"Nino. I'm sorry about what happened. I never wanted you to break up with Alya," I said.

"I made a promise, and I'm keeping it. No matter what," Nino replied in a calm tone. "I can only tell things are going to get worse and all of us here are gonna be by your side through it all."

~Present Day~

School finally let out and after a small trip to the bakery for snacks, my friends and I went to our normal spot at the park. We usually went here after a stressful day of school caused by Lila. After the food was finished and our conversations ended, we broke off doing our own things in the park. I was currently with Adrien and Chloe working on designs.

"Ok Chloe, I'm about to drop a bomb on you and you can't tell anyone?" I said looking up from my sketchbook. She gave me a nod to continue. "So the new upcoming designer MDC..."

"You're her," Chloe finished. I was surprised she knew at first, but it quickly vanished. "You know I'm not surprised. You are talented. My mom would love to met up with you and talk about your designs."

"I'm flattered, but I want to continue to be unknown. If certain people knew, my brand could get trashed. Now the reason why I am telling you this is because I want you as a model. What do you say?"

"Me? Really?"

"Of course. Everyone here has been a model at some point. I fit the model to the design. If the two don't match, then the pictures don't come out right. I have some outfits that I couldn't find the correct person to wear, but I think they were made for you. They scream Chloe, and I didn't realize until looking at them with you here. So would you be my model?"

"I'd love to!"

"Awesome! Once we're done at the park, we'd have to go to my place to get your measurements."

"LB, could I come? I saw an outfit last night that I know was for me," Adrien said putting his head on my lap acting like a cat.

"Last night? Are you two dating?" Chloe asked.

"Gross. He's my honorable little brother. Adrien stayed the night again because he was tired after one of his activities on his schedule. The poor guy looked like he was gonna pass out any moment," I replied.

"You didn't look any better."

A loud boom followed after. Akuma. I looked down at my kitty and gave him the go transform while I get the gang safe look.

He ran away saying some stupid excuse while I grabbed Chloe's arm.

"Let's get the others to the bakery. I'll find Adrien once you're all there," I said dragging her towards everyone else so I could get them safe.

As soon was we were in the bakery, a certain alley cat dropped down. He poked his head in and looked at me.

"Marinette, I need to get you somewhere safer. An old pal has come to play and is calling your name," he said.

I nodded my head and turned to the others. "Stay together and don't let anyone out of your sight. I'll be back."

I grabbed Cat's hand and followed him out. "Thanks. I didn't think Nino would let me go. He is also gonna kill you for running off."

"He always wants to kill one of us for being careless. Now go transform."

I quickly hid and Tikki came out. "Say the magic words."

"Tikki, spots on!"

Seconds later, I was Ladybug Guardian of Paris and the Miraculous. I hope I'm making Fu proud.

Ok so season five spoiler warning. I finished watching all of the released episodes of this season. As of now, it is the first twenty episodes. I have a small rant on what happened during some of those episodes. If you don't want anything to be spoiled, then you better head to the next chapter. You have been warned.

Why the hell do people turn their backs on Marinette so easily!? Even her own parents don't believe her at times. Sure there was evidence against here, but no one let her explain or give her point of view. People call her their everyday Ladybug but dismiss her so easily. Lila has slowly been messing up her life due to no one listening to Marinette besides Adrien and Zoe. They talk about how amazing she is but will turn against her so easily. Alya doesn't believe or listen to her when it comes to Lila. It's like all the good things she has done for everyone else doesn't matter anymore. Everyone knows she wouldn't do that shit but believe someone(Chloe in this case) over her. It frustrates me a lot. Sure Marinette is no angel. She has made mistakes but seriously. All the good she's done is forgotten.

Anyways, thank you for reading my TedTalk and stupid rant. I'm tired so my emotions are a bit stronger than usually.
