Chapter 10

-Andies Pov-

"Hey, you there! Yeah, you! I am Andie Rose and I shall bring you to your death!"

"Andie, would you please be quiet! I'm trying to concentrate!"

A sigh of defeat escapes through my lips as my hands release themselves from a gun position.

She never lets me have any fun.

April and I were at Grand Central Station, seeking out the TCRI scientist, Baxter Stockman.

April was typing away at her phone, getting prepared to call Donatello.

Earlier, back at home, April and I had dressed more fancier than our actual style. We're going total rouge and pulling off wigs that I had got at the wig store near Town Square.

    It was totally worth it.

"Hey, April!" Donnie said as April put her phone up to her ear.

"Donnie, listen to me, Andie and I just got to Grand Central Station. We're looking for Baxter now." April said, peering over to a staircase that lead down near some shops.

"Okay, do you need us there?"

April shook her head, a playful smile against her lips.
"Nah, Baxter's a softie," She started, then looked down at her watch. "Oh, and you know that birthday present you made for me?"

   "The watch, yeah."

"Andie had the idea to use it and try to hack into Baxter's emails."

Before she could say anything else, we saw Baxter walk up and be seated by a waiter.

"Okay, April, but if you want to hack into his account you need to get close," Donnie explains, April furrowing her eyes brows as he speaks to gathering everything he's saying.

   "How close?"

"3 feet from his device. Ipad, iPhone, whatever."

April smiled and I did as well. I stood up as April finishes up talking to Donatello.

"Got it, thanks for looking out, buddie. Talk to you soon."

We both nod at each other, then turn towards Baxter. April pushes her glasses up on her nose more as I tighten my pony tail.

   "Excuse me, a-aren't you-"

"As much as I want to be someone you girls like to recognize, I can assure you, I'm not." Baxter said, cutting off April from her question.

I smirk and take a step closer to him. "Your Baxter Stockman. PHD. You graduated from college at fifteen years old. You're. innovations and aerobiotics at TCRI have truly been inspirational for us!" I exclaimed, placing my hand over my mouth as I pretend to be shocked.

"We're so sorry! We're such nerds!" April chuckled nervously, her eyes widening.

Baxter looked completely baffled, but then gestured towards some chairs. "No, please, please. Geek out!"

"Oh, really? Thank you." April smirked as we pulled chairs over to sit.

"Actually, though, there's a difference. We're nerds, not geeks," I start while April activated the watch. Though, the percentages started going up rather slowly.

"It's like the difference between... Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Or Titox and Com-"

"Comic-Con! Ha, ha, ha, ha ha!" He laughs as my eyes widen as he continued to do so.

Suddenly, a man comes up to the table, not looking like the usual waiters around here.

He looked at us with a suspicious smile, then turned back to Baxter, reaching for his iPad.

"Dr. Stockman, we just got confirmation, sir. The uh... package is shipping later tonight."

Baxter's eyes slightly widen as he nods, handing the man the iPad. "Well make sure they're tracking it every step of the way. And Trevor, you're done working tonight."

April and I watched as Trevor took the iPad, then quickly walked away with a confident smirk plastered agains this lips.

I furrow my eyes brows as I look down to April's watch, unfortunately it disconnected.

She quickly put her phone up to her ear, making a shocked expression.

"So, uh-" Baxter starts, but April cuts him off.

"Sorry, we have to go. Our boyfriends are waiting for us outside." She said as we quickly stand up.

"Oh, you girls have boyfriends, of course you do. But do your boyfriends know pi to the third decimal point and pi to the fifteenth decimal point?" Baxter tries, but we nicely reject.

"It has truly been an honor to meet you, and you honestly have one of the best minds of our generation, bye." I quickly say as April and I bolt down the stairs, following the man who had Baxter's iPad.

"Hey look." April says, pointing over to a bunch of girls in short skirts and belly shirts.

It's freezing outside, why would anyone want to wear that?

"April, no." I say as she chuckles, pulling me over to where the skirts hang.

She grabs two off the rack, handing me one as we tie them around our waist. I sigh as I take off my sweater, leaving my white cami underneath as April tied up her shirt a little below her bra.

I rolled my eyes, but keep playing the character, tying my sweater around my waist quickly.

"Look everyone, we got a cowboy!" April exclaims, a smirk on her face as she pulled over Trevor.

"Look at those muscles, wow." I say, pulling off my best fake smile.

I put a cowboy hat on him, which only made the girls in the group grow more wild than they were.

"Say cheese!" The one girl said as we all pose.

April better have the watch on.

Finally, we head out of there and over towards the subway with huge smiles on our faces.

"We're the best actors ever!" I shout as we high five.

She smiled and pulled out her phone as we looked through the files.

"April! How'd it go?" Donnie asked, April having him on speaker.

"Donnie, we're looking at the data from Baxter's iPad." I say as April scrolled through some documents off her phone.

"Oh, you got in. What did you find?"

"Wait, hold on. Donnie, the files are erasing. It must be some sort of self destruct program." April said as I tap on the documents to see if some opened.

   "Erasing?"

"Before they started erasing, Andie had a chance to read a few of Baxter's emails, and it's true. Baxter is working for the Foot Clan."

I nod as April talked, then she handed me the phone. "Shredder is being transported to a prison in Upstate New York, and the Foot Clan are planning on hitting the convoy."

"They're going to break him out of police custody. He'll be free again." Donatello spoke, he talking along with his brothers.

"Who Donnie?" We heard Leonardo ask.

    "Shredder."

April soon gets off the phone with Donnie after going over what exactly is in hands.

The boys wanted us to hear back to the lair to hear out their more fulfilled plan.

April had stopped in front of a sewage pipe; it could lead two ways, up and down. Obviously we went with down.

"April, do you know where you're going?" I ask as we climbed down the very moist latter.

She shrugged, watching each foot placement of hers, just to be sure she wouldn't fall.

"Of course you don't..." I mumble, watching my own foot placements.

We made it to the bottom of the sewers, which were not as pleasant as the tops. I much rather would be willingly to climb some more latters than go through this muck.

I look over at April to see why we stopped. She had a puzzled look on her face while she was nibbling in her nail.

Oh great... we're lost.

"I thought you said you knew where you were going?" I ask, placing my hands on my hips.

She looked back at me, her eyes lighting up as she started walking into the left tunnel.

"Hey, I've never been down this way before. Though, I'm pretty sure it's this way."

After a bit more of walking, and attempting of not getting lose again, we finally made it to the lair.

"Thank goodness- wha- oh my..." I say, but then quickly gasp to the sight of seeing Splinter meditating.

Okay, first time of ever seeing a rat meditate. Okay. This- it's not weird.

"You've been meditating for nearly twenty four hours. In ten seconds you will reach nirvana and total spiritual enlightenment. In 10, 9-"

April and I tried to stay as quiet as possible until Splinter was done his meditation exercise.

Then suddenly, water starts rushing out of the sewer tunnel near Splinter, the turtles were shouting from inside.

Heading straight towards Splinter.

"Master Splinter!" I shout, trying to warn him, but I was a second late.

The boys bursted through the tunnel, wiping out Splinter with ton of water.

He got up seconds after, an angry expression written all over his face.

Oh goodness...

"Excuse me what is going on? Would someone like to explain?" Splinter asked, looking straight at Leonardo.

"Sensei, the Foot Clan are attempting to break Shredder out of custody." Leo said, kneeling down in front of his father.

"If Shredder is free his ring of terror over the city will begin once again."

Leonardo nodded to Splinters comment. "Exactly."

"Then there's only one question... why are you wasting time talking to a grumpy, old rat? Go get him!" Splinter yelled, pointing over to the way they came in.

Leo smiled then ran off to go follow Donnie and the rest of his brothers. "Thanks dad!"

April and I started to get curious, and we wanted to hear the rest of the plan, so we walked over to where the boys were.

"Hey guys we-" April quickly cuts herself off seeing the turtles gaping over to what seemed to be a ravage truck.

Now that's talent.

We all ran inside and boy were we even more shocked than before.

There were twenty different surveillance cameras, weapon controls, and buttons beyond buttons! I've never seen anything like this before. Heck, I even just saw a rat meditating.

"Donnie, this is incredible!" I say, brushing my fingers over some different buttons.

"Thanks, Andie! But I'm telling you guys, still a lot of tweeting is required. When it's done it's going to be amazing." Donnie spoke, fiddling with some wires.

I walked over to Raph moments later, knowing April and I had to leave soon to let the guys go.

I watched as Raphael was looking at the punching bag, this area being all the way in the back.

"Hey... be carful, okay?" I ask him, looking up at him.

He smirked, walking over to me. "Ya worried about me now?" He asked as I put my hands on my hips.

"I would not like to get a call from Leo saying that you got hurt by doing something you thought would be a bad ass move."

He chuckles and pulls me into a hug. "Don't worry, princess. You won't be getting a call saying I got hurt from doing it." He smirked as I slapped his shoulder.

"Raph, I'm serious."

His smirk turned into one of his heart warming smile, his arms snaking around my waist.

"I promise."

I smiled and lightly kissed his cheek, then turned away, walking back to the doors of the truck.

April and I stood off outside the truck, watching the truck race off down the sewers.

I felt April put her arm around my shoulder, giving me a comforting hug.

"He'll be fine, Andie. It's Raph." She chuckled and I softly chortled as we walking back into the lair.

Be carful, hot head...
