XXV
~With Kai~
Well, we made it to Connecticut for NXT Takeover: XXV as the two out of three falls match between myself and Matt was coming to a head.
As we got to the arena, I didn't feel nervous or anything, but I did feel excited by the match and how the finish was going to go. Matt and I didn't meet up because we wanted to go by ear and see how we could entertain everyone in their seats
We were the second match on the card, which I can work with, it's not a problem, but soon enough, I'd like to be in the main event for the NXT Title.
~Second Match~
Since I was going to go second after Matt, I made sure I had my towel and gear on, so I could make sure I can make my entrance towards the ring.
Masami came with me in case I needed to have my nerves get settled down, which I really appreciate.
I don't know how Masami is that loyal to me. I just can't get enough of her!
Masami was also in her new tracksuit. Rather than the regular NXT tracksuit, she wore...
Yes, that's our new tracksuit design and when we're not wrestling, we're gonna be wearing that, but we will have our gear on underneath it.
Once we were ready, my theme played and the crowd immediately booed as I smiled and wait for the second part of the first verse to be sung.

For our entrance together, we won't be holding hands. What we're going to do is look menacing and sadistic as Masami has a few ideas to heel up her new look.
After the 0:30 mark had hit, we entered as I smiled with such evil, everyone had to boo me some more!
Announcer: The following contest is a two out of three falls match, being accompanied to the ring by Io Shirai, from Yamaguchi, Japan, weighing at 104 kilos, "The Prodigy", REN HOSAKO!
When Masami and I looked at each other, we smiled, fist bumped and we walked down the ramp, not caring about the fans booing at us.
Hearing the fans boo at Masami and I is just so awesome. We love the hate we were getting now that we're a heel duo. Just like Miz and Maryse, but much more deadly and believable.
As the chorus was being sung, Masami got on the apron as I walked around to the other side to get on the other side of the ring.
As I was getting ready for the line to be said...

It wasn't yelled.
I actually wasn't disappointed at all, but I was bummed out about it being ignored.
I decided to let it go and have a conversation with Matt and how to turn this into a new angle for the both of us.
When I went into the other corner, I swiped off the towel around my shoulders and glared at Matt, who was making his entrance and started doing his little "bro" chant and everything.
Announcer: And his opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing at 216lbs, "The King of Bros", MATT RIDDLE!
He was doing his schtick as I glared at him, giving the fans some fist bumps and whatnot until he got in the ring and finished his entrance.
After taking off his snapback and jacket, he looked at me, telling me to fight him.
Oh, I won't be fighting, I'm gonna kill him.
Ref: RING THE BELL!
The bell rang as Matt and I just went at it with a chop fest, getting the fans out of their seats and just cheering for the both of us, telling us to kill each other!
After about five minutes of chopping each other's chests off, I kneed his gut, clubbed his back and performed a cross-armbreaker on him!
Matt was flailing around, trying to get out of it, and he did by holding onto his arm, guarding the pain until he put his foot on the bottom rope.
I let go and when we both got up, Matt looked for a takedown, but I got him in the Guillotine Choke as I locked my legs, giving him no chance to move to the ropes.
I even smiled as I pulled Matt's head towards me while locking my arm around his neck, trying to cut off all the blood flow from his head to his neck.
So far, it's working because he's on the verge of passing out and giving me the first fall.
Which was the exact opposite of what actually happened.
He managed to pick me up and perform a Northern Lights Suplex on me for a two count as I kicked out and got up as slowly as I can.
When the both of us got up, we looked for another lockup, but he pulled me down on the mat and kicked my legs, but I managed to trip him, grab one of his legs and gave him a heel hook.
I really made sure that the first fall comes to me and I want to make everything come out as physical as possible.
Whenever he tried to counter, I pulled his heel back, making him scream in agony until I started to twist his heel as well, causing more pain, giving him no choice but to tap out, giving me the win on the first fall.
Announcer: Here is your winner of the first fall, REN HOSAKO!
The crowd booed as I let go and smiled with such evilness that Matt didn't know what he was getting himself into.
I managed to get up and start attacking that leg, making sure I give Matt an abundance of pain by giving him clubbing blows, kicks, and before I could do any of that, I picked him up, grabbed his bad leg and perform a Dragon Screw on him, causing him to yell out in pain.
I then flipped him over on his chest, and grabbed his leg for a Half-Crab, pulling back while slapping his knee a few times.
Listen, the reason I did that is to not only signal him to get ready to reverse the hold, but to heal it up just a little bit. I want to be shown that I can be reliable when I need to be.
Matt was able to reverse it by turning around and then taking me off my feet, and locking my leg in a heel hook of his own as I try to block it, but I couldn't.
I was able to make it to the ropes after a couple of minutes, but when Matt let go, I pulled his heel into a heel hook, trying to cause some more pain in his bad leg!
The ref counted to four as I let go and confronted the ref who was telling me to let go!
Ref: You were in the position for a rope break!
Me: 私はそうではなかったと思いますか? あなたの人生は、私がどれほど悪いか分からないほど惨めであるに違いありません—! (You think I wasn't? Your life must be so miserable that I didn't know how bad—!)
Matt rolled me up but I was able to power out at 2 until I was on my knees and Matt gave me a kick to my chest.
However, when I leaned back, I managed to get my balance and tell Matt to bring it to him and he did by kicking my chest again.
I leaned back, trying to balance myself again with no support from my hands and I was able to do it, yelling at him to try again!
Me: もう一度やり直せ、このクソ野郎め! (DO IT AGAIN, YOU FUCKING COWARD!)
At this point I told Matt to go off on me however he saw fit since I'm looking vulnerable at this rate.
As I was on my knees, begging him to give it to me, he gladly did by kicking my chest so many times, but the last strike, instead of giving me a kick to my chest, he gave me a knee to the right side of my face!
The crowd groaned and cringed as I saw nothing in my right eye. I had a feeling Matt shattered my orbital bone and it's why I'm starting to feel something off.
I then started to see red and that was when I know that Matt made me bleed, but after looking into the camera lens, I was liking it on the outside but horrified on the inside.
Renallo: Oh, wow. Hosako's bleeding from the nose!
McGuiness: Dear Lord.
Phoenix: Guys, you know how Ren is going to act now that he's bleeding. Here comes the very dark side of him!
McGuiness: If he wasn't that mental enough?!
It wasn't my orbital bone getting fractured, but a broken nose will have to do. I got these sometimes back in Japan and this isn't new to me.
Once I felt the blood on my hand, I looked at it, smiled with such danger towards Matt, and wiped the blood on my chest as I was really looking to kill him now!
Me: あなたは私を出血させました! もう死ぬぞ、クソ野郎! あなたは今死ぬつもりです ! (You made me bleed! Now you're gonna die, motherfucker! You're gonna die now!)
I went off on him by slapping his face, smiling so sadistically by attacking him however I saw fit.
Me: You want to make me bleed? Huh, gaijin?
I slapped him again, giving the fans something to boo for until Matt was looking at me with an angry look. Instead of feeling intimidated, I smiled as he look to go off on me again.
We then did another chop fest, where instead of chopping each other, we slapped each other in the face at such a fast rate, everyone thought we were at war!
Then, Matt kneed me in the stomach, ran to the ropes and looked to knee me again, but I forearmed him, gave him a snapmare, ran to the ropes and kicked his chest as I covered him and Matt kicked out at 2.
When he got the shoulder up, I smiled and applauded with a rye evil smile on my face, almost laughing.
Renallo: And Hosako, I don't know what he's clapping for?
Phoenix: Either impressed because Riddle had the heart to kick out, or he gets to hurt him that much more.
McGuiness: This man is insane! Something's wrong with him!
Phoenix was correct as I brought him over to the ropes, draped his left arm over the top rope, I stepped out, and performed the rope-assisted armbreaker as my tongue was sticking out at the fans.
After the ref counted to 4, I let go and brought Adam out of the ring and we brawled for a little bit.
Matt tried to fight back by forearming me, but I was no-selling those strikes as I kept going towards him.
And then, with one forearm, he went down.
I grabbed him, threw him back into the ring and I just started kicking away at his hurt body until I kneed the side of his head, but not his nose.
I covered him but when he kicked out at 2 again, I grabbed his hand and started bending it back.
I was twisting his fingers, trying to cause as much pain as I can give him until I bent the wrist...
Crowd: Ooooh.
...I bent his arm...
Crowd: Ooooh!
...and then lock his wrist around mine, bulling his arm back!
Crowd: OOOOOOOHHH!!!
Matt was yelling in pain, trying to fight back as it was getting too much for him and he put his leg on the bottom rope.
Just for extra measure, I checked my nose for blood, making sure that it was all dry.
Once I saw that the blood was dry, I snapped my own nose back into place as the ref came to check on me.
I berated him and saw that my nose was fixed, but a small strand of blood was coming down one of my nostrils.
I would want to have this match stopped and get help, but I don't care. I just wanna finish the match and then get help because I'm that stubborn.
I was going to hurt Matt some more and he rolled me up again!
Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Once the three count was made, I sold it by looking absolutely furious and stunned at what just happened.
Announcer: Here is your winner of the second fall, MATT RIDDLE!
He was smiling with such excitement that it didn't last long since I went off on him again, trying to get him to quit the match, but he didn't.
I then brought Matt back up to his feet and started forearming his face and just trying to make him give up, but he yelled into my face and forearmed me, but the both of us screamed in each other's faces and we ran to the ropes, looking for a double knee, but we hit each other and were staggering.
The fans were just loving what we were doing as this was probably our best match together.
Sure, our match at Takeover: New York might have been the start, but this third match is probably the best out of all of them.
We looked to end it by trying to make each other tap out by giving each other our own version of the Fujiwara but I locked in the sleeper and looked for a Brainbuster, but Matt countered by flipping me over for a Northern Lights as we got up.
This time, as we tried to fight each other, he locked me in my own Sleeper Hold.
As I was "trying to escape", I muttered to him, the best I can...
Me: Bro-Derick. Gimme that move.
Matt: No problem bro.
He then put my head between his legs, and gave me his finisher for the three count as the medical staff came towards me.
Announcer: Here is your winner of the third and final fall, MATT RIDDLE!
Masami was so concerned about me and while I was being looked at by the doctors, I saw that Matt was trying to keep it together.
I don't blame Matt for kneeing me in the right side of my right face, breaking my nose, it was negligence on my part. I thought it would be a great idea for him to go off on me after everything I put him through, but of course, I ended up paying the price.
I was helped to the back by putting a cloth on my bloody nose as I saw Hunter was looking pissed. I don't know what I did, but it better be good.
Hunter: I don't know what went wrong out there, but Matt is suspended.
Me: Hunter, no. It was my fault. I thought it would be great idea for him to bring it to me after weeks of torture. If you want to suspend someone, suspend me. It my idea, let me take the blame.
Hunter: Why would I want to rescind the suspension?
Me: Because it my idea. I thought it would be great, but I end up with broken nose. So, will you suspend me?
He seemed reluctant about what I said, but after a while he relented.
Hunter: I'm not gonna suspend someone who's carrying NXT on his back. I'll give both of you a pass on this because I can understand it wasn't intentional. I can tell that the both of you don't talk about the match and only the feud, so I can let that go.
Me: Arigato, Hunter. I appreciate it.
Soon after going to the trainers, it turned out that I really was given a broken nose. Although it probably wasn't a good idea to fix it myself, I was still praised for finishing the match before I get help and showing professionalism to everyone.
Thing is, I was taught by Minoru to be tough, not just in life, but in the ring as well. He taught me the mentality that if I get injured or my cock falls off, I keep going and finish the match.
Soon after the show was done, Masami and I went back to the hotel and in the morning, we flew back to our house in Orlando, where in a month from now, I was going to not only bring this rivalry to an end, I was going to call out a certain TV channel.
