As they walked, you can clearly hear the links from the cell popping off as each of those guys took a step. I was on the edge of my seat, I don't know what's going to happen next, but it's sure going to be nasty.

On a very good camera shot, no thanks to Kevin Dunn, Kai was just covered with blood, from his head to his chest. He could barely function with all of that and I saw that he felt the edge of the cell, but he didn't fall. If he did, it would've been catastrophic.

I was hoping he'd wipe the blood coming from his head and he did, but when Kai turned around, Adam gave him a superkick and Kai was staggered!

I saw that Adam smirked at the camera, picked up Kai, held him by his trunks, and it was what I feared.

Adam: Have a nice day!

Adam threw Kai off the cell...

Phoenix: OH MY GOD!

...and my fiancé went through the announce table!

Renallo: MAAMAAA MIAAAAAAAAA!!!

McGuiness: That's it! Ren's dead! Adam killed him!

Renallo: SOMEONE CALL 9-1-1!

Phoenix: He's not moving, guys! Something's wrong! We gotta get help out here right away!

McGuiness: Get help out here now!

I thought Adam killed him!

The crowd just screamed in horror as Kai was laying on the announce table, not moving a muscle!

I was in literal shock as I was fearing the worst, the ref was checking on him, but Hunter ran out, down the ramp, onto the side where there was a big enough gap where the cell had, and got to Kai, who had no idea where he was.

Hunter was checking on him and see if he was alright, but I was literally on the verge of crying, hoping for a miracle because seeing that fall from the top of the cell really scared me!

I would go out there, but Kai told me beforehand to not come out, no matter what happened. I was adamant about it, but I trusted him.

~With Kai~

Hunter asked me, hoping that I was okay...

Hunter: Kai, are you okay?

Then I looked at him with a nonchalant smile, as if that fall never happened...

Me: I am fine.

Hunter: Are you sure? That was a nasty fall from up there.

Me: Hunter, I feel fine. No big deal.

Then, I saw the cage being lifted up with Adam, who was smiling at what he was seeing, being lifted with it as well and I realized what it was for: the paramedics.

They had a stretcher and everything ready in case something like this happened and Hunter moved away as they put me on there.

Once they put me on the stretcher, they started moving towards the ramp, but I promised Masami and the fans that I would win the title from Adam and I'm not going home empty-handed.

The only way for anyone to stop me is if they put a stake through my heart, nothing else. Not even Minoru can stop me from trying to win the title I've been targeting since my arrival.

My goal was to become the first autistic NXT Champion, and I'm not gonna let this goal be unfulfilled.

I was ripping the straps off until I was free after a struggle. I tried moving as slow as I can, but I couldn't because I felt like I broke my ribs or something, it was so painful.

With one swoop, I fell onto the floor, groaning in pain due to the possibility of broken ribs, and fought off the officials, grabbing onto me and telling me to get back on the stretcher. I refused and pushed them away as I yelled and crawled towards the cell...

Me: これは私にとって個人的なものです、そして私はどこにも行きません！ 私を止めようとしないでください、あなたは惨めなファック！ (This is personal to me and I'm not going anywhere! Don't try to stop me, you miserable fucks!)

I got up back onto my feet, limped towards the cell door, and I kicked it open with ease. I then slammed the door, closing in the process, before smiling at the officials and paramedics.

Me: 今、あなたは私を得ることができません！ (Now you can't get me!)

I looked at Adam who was in disbelief, with a shocked look on his face.

He thought I was done, but I'm not until I say it's done!

As I smiled with such evil intent...

Me: やってくる、アダム！ それを終えましょう！ (Come on down, Adam! Let's finish it!)

I gestured to come at me and he did before saying...

Adam: It's your funeral, you psychopath!

When he climbed back inside the cell, he and I went inside the ring and we just brawled. I mean, I had blood pouring down my face, but it was a side effect. I kicked him and Irish Whipped him to the ropes and I crossbodied him while punching him again.

I got off of him, felt the blood on my own hands, and wiped my hands across my chest with a war cry!

I went out of the ring, took out a table, pushed it into the ring, and set it up as I took a chair, hit Adam's ribs with it before I threw it away, kicked Adam in the gut, and laid him on the table.

I grabbed the same chair and went to the top for something awesome.

Once I went to the top rope, I looked at Adam, saluted, like Kaori would do, and I did a splash from the top rope onto Adam through the table with the chair.

But the downside of it all was that, I was in so much pain that I couldn't get up properly.

Instead, I just crawled, inch by inch and until I got close to Adam, I covered him with one arm...

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THR—!

Adam kicked out?!

How did Adam kick out? Somebody explain that to me! How in the fucking hell did Adam manage to kick out after I splashed him with a chair through the table he was on?

Then, instead of wasting time, I locked in the Fujiwara, not letting go.

~With Masami~

Once the Fujiwara was locked in on Adam, I thought that was it. Kai wins after all this time as I can tell that he had it all planned out as he was holding onto Adam through the Fujiwara, but then, a theme played.

Renallo: What the hell?!

The crowd booed as they ran out and looked to stop my fiancé from winning the title!

Renallo: Oh no! The Undisputed Era! Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reily! Remember, there are no disqualifications and no count outs in this match!

O'Reily took out the ref, grabbed the key, and unlocked the cage as they tried to get in the ring, but Kai wasted no time fighting back! He took them off the apron and looked to finish the match, but Adam performed a Super kick, the same move that busted my bottom lip open.

Kai was staggered on the ropes but when Adam looked to clothesline him out, Kai pulled the top rope down and Adam is out of the ring, making him regroup with his buddies.

Kai knew he couldn't perform a dive off the ropes because he might hurt himself, but I think he had an idea.

He got out of the cage and started climbing to the top AGAIN?! It didn't take too long for Kai to get up there because he looked down at the UE.

Once he took a deep breath, he did the crotch chop, flew off the cage and onto the UE, down on the floor!

That was 25 feet high! I thought Kai was dead the first time, but he's still moving because he picked up Adam, threw him into the ring, and looked to end it, but Roddy had to intercept.

Once Kai chopped Strong off the ring apron, Adam gave my man a low blow!

After that, he brought Kai up to his knees, and performed the Last Shot!

He covered Kai...

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THR—!

Kai kicked out!

Kai had kicked out at the last possible moment! I thought that was it.

Then, Adam looked desperate and I didn't know what he was going to do, but I know that no intentions of his were gonna be any good.

When Adam got out of the ring, I wondered what he was going to do next as Kai was bleeding like a stuffed pig, it's insane.

As Adam pulled the apron, he managed to find...

Renallo: Oh my God!

Phoenix: Is that? Is that a steel chair, wrapped in barbed wire?!

McGuiness: Yeah and good riddance! Ren's gonna get what he deserved! New Japan might've won the battle, but they're gonna lose the war! Hosako costed Ring of Honor a chance to recuperate after their win, but now he's gonna lose his chance to win the NXT Championship!

Adam threw the barbed wire chair into the ring and looked to hit Kai with it, but, then, all of a sudden...

When that song blared throughout the arena, the fans have popped so loud, it was deafening!

Renallo: THE HELL!

Phoenix: OH MY GOD!

McGuiness: NO!

Adam was scared at what was happening on the outside as the rest of the UE were outside the cage, confused on what was happening!

Renallo: It can't be!

Then, off the screen, the crowd popped even louder as three men had entered the arena with violence on their minds!

Phoenix: Wait a minute!

When the screen came back to focus on them, at the 34 second mark, Kaori and I lost our shit! We did not think there would be backup for Kai in the form of...

Renallo: OH! SUZUKI-GUN! MICHINOKU! TAICHI! SUZUKI!

Phoenix: WHAT?!

Renallo: I have bleeping goosebumps!

McGuiness: We're going back in time, to 2015! We got Undisputed Era and Adam Cole, and we got Ren Hosako and Suzuki-Gun!

Then, the three took off their track jackets and start walking down with intentions to fight the UE, Minoru the most!

I couldn't believe what I was seeing, nor did the fans! I didn't think Minoru would go all out to help Kai, just by having some old friends coming here to Tampa to back my fiancé up!

Phoenix: This is incredible!

McGuiness: But who! Who are they coming for?!

Renallo: I don't know, the last time they were in contact with Ren was the middle of last year!

As the three were halfway down the ramp, Minoru was pointing at them with such evil. I know what he's got in mind and I'd rather not say!

Takao (Michinoku) was just smiling with anticipation and he was looking forward to fighting.

And Taichi? Well, Miho outta be careful when he comes back to Japan. He's gonna get violent!

McGuiness: This was a fight that we were supposed to see a couple years back! It may be a little bit late, but it's coming! Get after them, boys!

Just as Nigel said that, Suzuki, Takao, and Taichi started brawling with the UE!

Renallo: The forbidden door has been destroyed, here at Takeover: Tampa Bay!

McGuiness: This is insane!

Phoenix: Suzuki-Gun and the Undisputed Era, are battling it out, right in front of us!

After the UE were down for a bit, Minoru mocked Adam by doing his pose, and then flipped him off!

Kai got behind Adam and locked in the Sleeper as Cole was fighting for his life, trying to get out of it, but he couldn't!

Kai put Adam underneath his arm and performed the Brainbuster onto the barbed wire chair!

McGuiness: Dammit!

He covered him...

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THRE—!

Adam kicked out!

I thought that was it! I thought it was over!

Kai didn't give up and locked in the Fujiwara Armbar again as Adam was screaming in pain, and he couldn't stop it!

The fans were eating this up as they were chanting "tap" as Kai locked it in deep and bending Cole's arm closer to his chest!

Instead, Adam reached for the barbed wire chair and looked to grab it, but at the last possible opportunity, Minoru took it away from Adam, giving him the "no-no" gesture with a smile!

Renallo: Now that is a father for Hosako!

Phoenix: Smart move by Minoru!

McGuiness: That's not a smart move, that's cheating! Damn you, Suzuki! Damn you!

Phoenix: Wah, wah, wah, Nigel! The UE got involved and there are no disqualifications, you call what Suzuki has done cheating? You're more of a fanboy than a commentator!

If that wasn't enough, Fish came from behind and laid out Minoru!

Then, Taichi came from behind and gave Fish the Black Mephisto (A/N: Sheamus' White Noise) onto the floor!

After that, O'Reily came into the picture and bombarded Taichi!

Takao had none of it as he laid out Roddy, and performed the...

Renallo: MICHINOKU DRIVER!

The fans were going nuts as I was too! I didn't think Suzuki would bring backup to help Kai win the Championship!

Then, Kai was able to get back up and pick up Adam for another Sleeper Hold as Cole was trying to get out of it, and he did by rolling up my fiancé!

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THR—!

Kai kicked out as Adam then pulled Kai up and was going for another Last Shot but Suzuki got on the apron and grabbed a hold onto Adam's hair!

He then yelled in Japanese, as he pulled the fucking playboy close to him...

Minoru: 何をしていると思いますか？最悪の事態はこれからだ、クソ野郎！ (What do you think you're doing, huh! The worst is yet to come, motherfucker!)

Then, he threw him to Kai who locked in the Sleeper again, but this time, even tighter than before!

After fighting so desperately, Adam passed out and Kai had him in the driver's seat!

A little bit later, Kai hit the Brainbuster again!

He covered Adam...

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THRE—!

Adam kicked out AGAIN!

Kai must be running on fumes as he looked like he wanted to cry in frustration, but he laughed instead to keep himself from crying, which I thought was a smart tactic.

~With Kai~

I never wanted to lose my sanity so much in my life.

I then decided it was time to pull out the one weapon that Hunter's friend, Mick Foley, had saved for me, so I rolled out of the ring, pulled the apron away, and pulled out...

Renallo: Oh no.

Phoenix: What is in there?

McGuiness: I know what it is without even guessing.

It didn't have to come to this, but if this is what it takes to win the title off of Adam, then so be it.

I went back into the ring, stood up, unwrapped it, and out came...

When those tacks came falling out of the bag and onto the mat, the fans lost their minds.

Renallo: OH NO! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THUMBTACKS! That was a bag of thumbtacks!

Phoenix: There's gotta be thousands of them, maybe more!

McGuiness: I think I'm gonna be sick.

Renallo: These two men just have an intense hatred for one other it had to come to this!

Phoenix: Right now, Ren is just sacrificing his own body, if not career, to take the NXT Championship from Adam Cole. He just doesn't care at this point!

I grabbed Adam and picked him up, looking to slam him onto the tacks, but before I could body slam him onto them, he gave me a low blow!

I couldn't even stand up straight because of how much it hurts.

When Adam picked me up for a powerbomb, I thought I was gonna land on the mat, but instead, he powerbombed me onto the tacks!

Renallo: NO!

Phoenix: NO!

McGuiness: NO!

Phoenix: Oh no!

Renallo: Mama Mia, thumbtacks!

Phoenix: Those tacks are just stuck in Ren's back and blood is pouring down, look at that sight!

McGuiness: Dear Lord.

Renallo: It had to come to this. And oh my God, look at Suzuki, Ren's father figure, he can't even look!

Minoru: カイ！ (Kai!)

When I showed him my back, he covered his mouth in complete horror and it looked like he wanted to throw up right there.

Seriously, when I landed on those tacks, it felt like I plopped back first into a pool.

Like, it felt so painful that I never used tacks before, but despite what just happened, the fans stood up, cheered and applauded as they chanted...

Crowd(chanting): THIS IS AWESOME! *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP* THIS IS AWESOME! *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*

Adam and I were exhausted, bleeding, in pain, as we had to stand up and try to see who will walk out of here as NXT Champion.

I rubbed my hands together, reminiscing the times I faced Minoru in a sparring session when I first started, cocked my arms back, then chopped Adam, which sounded like a rifle going off, and then Adam chopped me as hard as he could before I gave him another.

It then turned into a chop fest as he and I were chopping each other so much that we were about to fall down.

When Adam ran to the ropes and ran towards me, I lifted him up and gave him a Michinoku Driver onto the tacks!

I covered Adam but he kicked out at two and a half on the tacks!

I was so close! I thought I had this won, but as he kicked out by lifting his arm up, I flipped him over and immediately locked in the Fujiwara Armbar once again, for a third time.

He was screaming in agony as he was chest first on the tacks, trying to hang on.

He was about to tap, but I decided to lock in another hold by grabbing his other arm and locking in a butterfly type of submission.

He was still screaming in agonizing pain as he looked like he was about to pass out, but he didn't. Instead, Adam managed to free his other arm, grab a handful of tacks and he threw them into my face!

It hurt so much that he lowered his knee pad, had me on my knees before grabbing another handful of tacks, put them in my mouth, ran to the ropes and gave me The Last Shot!

~With Masami~

I thought this was it. Adam retains and Kai doesn't make history. My fiancé had come this far and for Adam to hit The Last Shot had proven that he doesn't have what it takes to be Champion.

He covered my fiancé...

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THRE—!

KAI KICKED OUT!

HOW IN THE FUCK DID KAI MANAGE TO KICK OUT OF THAT!

Beth was right! KAI ISN'T HUMAN! THERE IS SOMETHING MENTALLY WRONG WITH HIM!

Just when I thought I was gonna have a heart attack, Minoru was catching his breath and kneeling as he thought it was over, just as the fans reacted!

Renallo: How in the bleeping hell did Ren kick out of that!

Phoenix: I don't know, Mauro, but you can't deny how much heart Ren had to power out, after having tacks in his mouth and then given The Last Shot, courtesy of Adam Cole!

Crowd(chanting): THAT WAS THREE! THAT WAS THREE! THAT WAS THREE!

Adam was just arguing with the ref in disbelief that he thought he had the match won and he was claiming that it was three!

Behind him, I saw my Kai, trying to get back on his feet to fight, but Minoru had to yell...

Minoru: カイ！私の話を聞いて下さい！もう証明できるものは何もありません! タイトルを獲る必要はない！マサミのために、じっとしていなさい！下がってろ！もう証明できるものは何もありません! (Kai! Listen to me! You got nothing left to prove! You don't have to win the title! Stay down, for Masami! Stay down! You got nothing left to prove!)

Kai looked at him with a pissed off look and said to me...

Kai: 勝たないといけないよ、ミノル。私の人生の誰もが、私にはレスラーになる資格も、昇進のチャンピオンになる資格もないと言ってました。私は変人になるのは当然だし、マサミのような女の子が私の隅にいるべきではない。 (I have to win, Minoru. Everyone in my life had said I didn't deserve to be a wrestler, or be a Champion in any promotion. I deserved to be a freak, and I deserve no girl like Masami to be in my corner.)

Then, he said the one thing that broke everyone, and this tells me, he's about to go rogue.

Kai: 多分私はそれに値しました。 (Maybe I did deserve it.)

Then, he grabbed the barbed wire chair...

Kai: たぶん私はやった。 (Maybe I did.)

Adam looked back on Kai as he yelled...

Kai: たぶん私はやった！ (Maybe I did!)

Kai bashed him over the head with the chair before grabbing a trash can and put it on Adam.

He then yelled again...

Kai: たぶん私はやった！ (Maybe I did!)

...and Kai hit the trash can with a normal chair until he kept hitting the trash can with it.

Kai: たぶん私はやった！ (Maybe I did!)

Then he threw the chair away before grabbing a kendo stick and yelled at the top of his lungs, which made me feel shocked about what was happening in front of not just me, but the fans as well...

Kai: たぶん私はやった！ (MAYBE I DID!)

He hit the can with repeated shots as the ref tried to call for the bell, but Kai held onto the ref with a threatening look on his face before tossing him aside and kept hitting the trash can with no sign of stopping.

I covered my mouth in shock because I didn't know Kai would act this way. Minoru and the rest of Suzuki-Gun's jaws were dropped. They did not know Kai would be this determined to win the title.

Once the stick broke in a million pieces, he threw it away and yelled so loud that it wasn't a yell of feeling proud, it wasn't a yell of feeling terrible, it wasn't a yell of facing the adversity he faced for 14 years, it was a yell of wanting to be accepted at least once in his life.

Nobody accepted him just because he was autistic, no bars or restaurants wanted nothing to do with anyone who was like Kai, and no clothing stores didn't want anyone like him to be featured in their fashion line because they thought people like my fiancé would be called ugly!

Much like Aerospotle, they only relied on pretty boys and girls, insulting anyone who wasn't. As anyone can possibly guess, diversity is BULLSHIT! It's all fake and nobody even realizes it!

As far as I can see, this was his breaking point, and I don't blame Kai. This had to be at the verge of him losing his sanity.

Kai then took the trash can off of Adam, picked him up, and locked in the Sleeper.

Since Adam already passed out, Kai put Adam's head under his right arm, put Cole's arm over his own, lifted him up, wrapped his other arm around Adam's chest, walked over to where the tacks were and gave him the Brainbuster onto the tacks!

But Kai wasn't finished.

Keeping Adam locked around his arm, he got up, picked Cole up for another Brainbuster onto the tacks, before getting back up, and looked to perform a third Brainbuster onto Adam, but instead, he let go of Adam.

What was he doing?

Then, Kai smiled and thought of something better, as an exclamation point in this match.

He put Adam's head between his thighs, pointed up, hooked the right leg of Cole, lifted the legs up, his adversary's head still between his own, and performed a...

Renallo: GOTCH STYLE PILEDRIVER ONTO THE TACKS!!!

Kai covered him with the hook of the leg...

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE!

When the bell rang, the crowd gave a deafening pop as Kai immediately got off of Adam, put his face on the mat, put his hands over his head, and I knew what was going on.

His body was shaking and that told me that he was crying because he made history.

Kaori and I ran from backstage as the cell was being taken up, we ran into the ring and put our arms around him, comforting him and I saw Minoru and the others coming up the steps, into the ring to join us as we stood Kai up.

When his face was up, not only was he still covered with blood, his eyes were so red that I never knew he cried this much.

Seeing him like this made me cry as I hugged him, not giving a shit about the blood on my shirt because this is one of the greatest moments of my fiancé's life and career as a wrestler: he is the first autistic NXT Champion.

Announcer: Here is your winner, and NEW NXT CHAMPION, THE BROKEN WINGED ANGEL, REN HOSAKO!

Renallo: Ren Hosako just made history, not just competing in the first ever Hell In A Cell match in NXT, but as the first ever autistic, and I mean AUTISTIC, NXT Champion!

Phoenix: This is incredible! What a moment for that young man!

McGuiness: I gotta give Ren credit, he sacrificed his own body to win the title that he never got to have in the black and gold brand!

Renallo: As you can see, Io Shirai, his fiancée, Kairi Sane, his sister, and the new champion Ren Hosako just an emotional mess as this is the biggest win of not just his entire career, but his life as well!

Phoenix: Wow, what an emotional win for Ren. Look at him, he's in tears!

McGuiness: This young man has earned the right to be Champion. Congratulations to him!

Renallo: What a weekend for this young man: first, he's a recipient for the 2020 Warrior Award, then, he and Io Shirai get engaged on the same night, and now, Ren Hosako has made history here tonight, at Takeover: Tampa Bay, becoming the first autistic NXT Champion!

~With Kai~

Being the first autistic NXT Champion has been my goal when I arrived, but now that I became the Champion, I had to shed some tears because this is very special to me.

I was able to stand up and take it all in. I seriously made history and I couldn't be more proud of what I've done. I really couldn't believe that I won the title after so long on the Black and Gold brand.

Before I was given the title, I saw Minoru asking for it from the ref, who obliged before he could be killed.

He then went up to me, and presented me the title Adam had formerly held. I took it before he extended his arms at me as he pulled me into a giant hug, which made the fans cheer even more as I had to return it.

He then looked at me and said with a proud smile, with a tear in his eye...

Minoru: 勝ちましたよ、カイ。私はあなたを誇りに思います。 (You earned it, Kai. I'm proud of you.)

He then raised my hand and pointed at me as I took all of this in. My friends were just as emotional I was and I had to hug them all, just to show my appreciation for what they did tonight.

They took the time out of their busy schedules with New Japan and came here to help me win the NXT Championship. I'll never be more grateful than I am right now.

We were all as happy as the PPV came to a close, but when the PPV came to a close, I had to get on the mic and cut a really quick promo.

I gestured for one, and I had to take it as I was trying to keep myself together.

The fans kept cheering and before I could say another word...

Crowd(chanting): YOU DESERVE IT! *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP* YOU DESERVE IT! *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP* YOU DESERVE IT! *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*

I think I did deserve it.

Me: Oi...

I was just at a loss for words, I couldn't even describe how surreal and emotional it was to have this title in my hand, and to hear the fans say that I deserve it put me over the edge.

Me: Oi, back in 2018, this... was... my goal. And it finally... fulfilled!

I started tearing up again after I said it. I finally did it. I'm the first autistic wrestler to win the NXT Championship, and I have to give my thoughts on this.

Suzuki, who was trying not to bawl his eyes out, and the others were applauding as I kept talking.

Me: This... for all autistic children and people around the world. If I can win, then you can too!

I then kneeled down, just trying to breathe from the possibility of my ribs being broken, or even cracked ribs.

Masami was concerned but I had to clarify for everyone who was concerned.

Me: It just ribs, do not worry.

Everyone laughed as I managed to stand back up and smile.

Me: This just beginning of my journey. You people are welcome to join, and we will win no matter what, because The Rumbling...

Minoru: And Suzuki-Gun...

The both of us pointed in the air, same with Kaori, Masami, Takao, Taichi, and the fans...

All: ICHIBAN!

My theme played as I dropped the mic and just started crying again.

Masami helped me up as I waved to the fans and I was helped out of the ring. I really still couldn't believe that I'm the new NXT Champion, and winning NXT's first ever Hell In A Cell match? Hell to the fucking yeah!

In the back, every NXT wrestler you could think of applauded as I took it all in. Hunter was the first to greet me as I hugged him with content.

Hunter: It feels good, doesn't it, Kai?

Me: It does. I am just so happy.

Minoru came from behind and hugged me as I really needed it.

Minoru: やったね。本当にやったね、カイ。これは私には決してできないことですが、あなたは間違いなく誰よりもそれに値するものです。 (You've done it. You really did it, Kai. This is something that I'll never be able to do, but you definitely deserve it more than anyone.)

I turned around and hug my father. He, Takao, and Taichi didn't have to be here, but they had to, just to see me win the title.

Hunter: You can head on over to your photo shoot, Kai. You've earned it.

Me: Okay. Arigato.

Hunter: Oh, there's one more person who I think you're familiar with.

Me: And who is that?

?????: ちょうど飛行機から降りたところです。 (I just got off the plane.)

I turned around and I did not expect to see her here!

Me: あゆみ？ (Ayumi?!)

Ayumi: それは、カイです。 (It is, Kai.)

She hugged me, no restraints, and just cried as I was so happy to see her here too.

Me: あなたもここにいるなんて信じられません。 (I can't believe you're here, too.)

Ayumi: あなたが歴史を作っていくのを見逃したくなかった。それがあなたにとってどれほど大きな意味を持つか私は知っていました。 (I didn't want to miss you making history. I knew how much it meant to you.)

Minoru: 週末なので月曜日にお祝いをします。 (We celebrate on Monday, just because it's the weekend.)

We all agreed, but I had to get stitched up and everything else.

When I went to the photo shoot, I made sure to look like a badass without even crying. I mean, having this title in my hands is very surreal.

I basically did my Suzuki-Gun pose, where it's the number one hand gesture, and I even smiled and stuck my tongue out to look intimidating!

On the very last photo, I folded the title with respect, held it with one hand, and did the number one hand pose.

When it was all done, I was helped with the stitching on my forehead, getting the tacks out of my back, and given some ibuprofen to relieve the pain in my ribs, which turned out to be bruised. I was fine with it, considering that I needed help to bring the pain down.

Once I was fixed up and everything, I showered and dressed into regular clothes, and all of us went out to celebrate, but I needed to take it easy, lest I injure my ribs for real, just because I'm talking about it.

We basically went to a small diner where we had appetizers and nothing else. I wasn't feeling too hungry, but I really couldn't complain about being around my friends and family, especially since I proposed to Masami the night before. It's only fitting.

When we were done, we all went back to the hotel and I had to rest my body. I was in so much pain that it only did I have to bandage myself up, I had to make sure that I tried to take a few more ibuprofen before bed, but the next day, I had to be ready to be presented at Wrestlemania.

And I had an idea on how I wanted to be announced.
