Louis strolled his trolley through the grocer's, grabbing vegetables and meats.

He grabbed a few chocolate chip biscuits and crisps, and a few soft drinks.

He rolled his eyes in annoyance at the constant loud noise of a child throwing a tantrum, and hurried to find what else he was looking for so he could leave.

He roamed around for a bit more, until he bumped into someone.

He was about to apologise, when he realised who it was.

"Charlie?"

He looked surprised for a second. "Hi sir, what are you doing here?" After he said that, he face palmed, shaking his head.

"Obviously to buy groceries, idiot." He mumbles in annoyance.

Louis pressed his lips together, trying to hold back a laugh, hoping Charlie wouldn't notice.

"Yeah, I'm just getting some stuff." He replied.

"What have you bought?" He questioned curiously.

"Just some things." He nodded, and bit his lip, lowering his eyes to the ground.

"I heard Mr White got arrested. I guess our teamwork paid off." He said, smirking.

"Yeah, those victims have justice now. Thanks for helping, lad. That video did help a lot." He tells him, making him smile and look down at the floor again.

"Alright. Well, uhhh, I'll see you later then, sir." He said, and walked away before Louis could respond.

He definitely has a crush on me.

Louis was flattered, but hoped Charlie would overcome his crush and like someone else.

He was his teacher after all, but didn't know if the same laws applied for where he worked, so he wasn't taking that risk.

And because he just doesn't feel that way about him, obviously.

Louis' phone chimed, and he picked it up and saw that he got a text. He opened his phone and read it.

UKNOWN: Silly you, why did you block me?

Louis raised his brows in alarm, his heart starting to beat fast.

His eyes froze on the screen for a moment, before doing what he did before, and blocked him.

He didn't even want to know how he unblocked him, or how he even got his phone number in the first place.

___

Louis walked into the flat, his face full of uneasiness.

"What happened to you?" Isla questioned as soon as she noticed Louis' body language.

"Well for one, a kid throwing a wobbly was not how I expected to get a headache." He complained, rubbing his head, his eyes squinting.

"You seem distressed though, you sure you're alright?" She asked worriedly, turning the Telly off and focusing on him.

Louis bit his lip, contemplating whether or not to tell her about the texts.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He lied. "Just need to take some Advil for this headache." He said, and made his way into the kitchen to get a bottle of water, then went upstairs and into the bathroom to get some painkillers.

His phone buzzed in his pocket, and he paused, his face pale.

It can't be, not again, He hoped.

He slowly took out his phone and held it, his hands shaking. His hands continued to shake as he typed in the passcode.

He breathed a sigh of relief once he saw that it was just Oliver who texted him.

Little Shit: Hey mate, up for going to the pub tonight?

Me: sorry mate, I have a headache and need to sleep it off.

Little Shit: okay, so tomorrow then?

Me: sure, see you then.

Little Shit: Alright, see you lad.

He put his phone on the sink and opened the cabinet filled with pills and medicines. He found the painkillers and opened it, placing two into his mouth, then drinking it down with his water.

He left the bathroom and went to his room, closing the door behind him.

He put his phone on charge and hopped onto the bed, then groaned in annoyance when it buzzed again.

Can't I just sleep for god's sake!?

He rolled his eyes and turned the phone back on. The fear he had before crept on him again as he read the name.

He opened the phone and read the text.

UNKNOWN: Hello, Louis. Missed me?

Louis wondered how this keeps happening; James unblocking himself.

Me: How do you keep doing this?

UKNOWN: Unblocking myself? Oh Louis, technology has really improved, you should know this by now😏

Me: Leave me alone James! You're absolutely sick.

UKNOWN: Well that's not very nice.

Louis began typing again, until James sent another message that made his heart sink into his chest.

UNKNOWN: How's your curly-haired friend doing? Harry is it?😏

Me: you leave Harry alone!

UNKNOWN: Oh Louis, you blind dog. It pains me to see you so.....unwell in the head. You and a certain fictional character would be great friends.

He furrowed his eyes at the message.

Me: What the fuck do you mean by that? Who's that?

UNKNOWN: you both seem to have something in common☠️

Louis couldn't bother anymore, and blocked him once more. He decided he was going to change his number tomorrow so he wouldn't text him anymore.

The headache he has grown worse because of him. He quickly hopped back onto the bed and immediately drifted off.

___

"Why am I here, Sir?" Charlie asked, his knees shaking like he was nervous.

"You're here because I need to talk to you about something important," Louis began, making Charlie's knees stop shaking. "I've been aware of your feelings towards me, and while it's okay to have crushes, I believe it's not appropriate for that crush to be your teacher." He explained, and Charlie immediately frowned, looking at him confused.

"Sir, I believe you're mistaken, I don't have a crush on you." He replied, and Louis furrowed his brows in confusion.

"But you always blush around me." Louis pointed out, and Charlie shook his head in response.

"I do that all the time as a force of habit when someone compliments me about something. Or, to be specific, praises me." He clarifies.

"I'm sorry you got that intention. I just can't really help how I react like that towards praise." Louis nodded his head, understanding.

"I'm sorry too, I just assumed because of how you would act around me." He replied.

"I understand, sir. I apologise for the confusion." He said, standing up.

"It's alright, Charles. You can go now." Louis said, smiling kindly and motioned towards the door.

"Okay, and stop calling me Charles." He chuckled, grabbing his things.

"Sorry, force of habit." He laughs lightly, and Charlie laughed along.

"See you tomorrow, sir." He said, heading for the door.

"You too, Mr Mason." He responded, and Charlie left, closing the door behind him.
