Makino and I giggled happily. Dad would be home at any minute and we were both excited to tell him. Makino had a perfect plan to tell him and I was going to video tape it. I'd show the video to my little brother or sister when they were old enough. I was so excited and happy.

Finally, Dad came home. I was just chilling on the couch, pretending to be browsing Wattpad on my phone.

"Hey, Daddy." I said as he walked in.

"Hey, baby girl. Where's Makino?" He asked.

"She's in the kitchen." I said. He nodded and headed for the kitchen. I turned on my camera and followed him in to the kitchen.

"Hey, Makino. Feeling better, love?" He asked. She nodded and he kissed her cheek. She smiled at him and nodded at me as he went to start making lunch.

"So, I found this cute shirt for Aisuru, and I want your opinion." She said. Dad grabbed a package of pasta, reading the instructions on the back.

"Oh, yeah? What is it?" He asked.

"It says "world's best big sister" on it." She said. Dad nodded.

"Why would you want to get that for Aisuru, she's not a-" Dad stopped. He dropped the package and turned to look at us, his eyes wide. I grinned at Dad and Makino handed him the pregnancy test.

"You're-?!" He asked, looking between the test and Makino. She giggled and nodded. Dad dropped the test and kissed Makino. I giggled.

"We're having a baby!" He laughed. I smiled. He hugged Makino tightly. He began to kiss her all over her face.

"I'm gonna be a father again! I love you. I love you so much." Dad said. I turned off the camera and put my phone back in my pocket and hugged Dad and Makino.

"I'm gonna be a big sister!" I said. Dad laughed and pulled me closer. Dad looked in to Makino's eyes.

"You just keep filling my life with blessings. I love you so much." He said and kissed her again.

"I love you, too. Both of you." She said. I hugged my parents happily. For the rest of the day, all Dad wanted to do was cuddle with Makino. I giggled at them and wondered if Dad reacted the same way when Hope told him about me.

I pulled out my phone and texted Law and Aka.

Me: the test came back positive. Makino is pregnant. I'm going to be a big sister!

Aka: YEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Law: congratulations

I smiled and went to watch Lindsey Stirling videos on my laptop in my bedroom.

Shanks's POV

I lounged back in the couch with Makino in my arms. She rested her head on my chest while my hand rested on her stomach where our child grew.

"Do we know how far along you are?" I asked excitedly. She giggled up at me.

"I think I'm about three months." She said. I grinned.

"You could take a DNA test to find out the gender of the baby! We'll know if we'll have a baby boy or a baby girl!" I said and hugged her tight. Makino giggled at me and kissed my jaw.

"You are so adorable. Maybe the DNA test will be your Christmas present." She hummed. I grinned and kissed her forehead.

"I don't need anything for Christmas. I have everything I could ever want out of life. I have a house, my beautiful daughter, the woman of my dreams as my wife and now another baby on the way." I said. She smiled up at me.

"You're such a romantic." She giggled. I kissed her softly. She squealed as I flipped us and moved down to her tummy. I slid her shirt up and exposed her stomach to me. I began to kiss the skin of her stomach lovingly.

"Hello, little one. I'm your Daddy! Yes I am. You're gonna be a beautiful little baby aren't you? Yes you are~! I love you! I love you so much! Your mommy is the most beautiful and kind hearted woman in the world! Yes she is! Your big sissy is the sweetest and she's so pretty, too. I can't wait to meet you, little one. I love you so much." I hummed and pressed soft kisses to her stomach. Makino played with my hair as I talked to our baby. I sighed and softly nuzzled her stomach.

"This is a complete dream come true. It's just like when I found out Hope was pregnant with Aisuru. I'm just as nervous about being a dad now as I was back then." I sighed. Makino giggled at me.

"Though you have a little more confidence. I mean, Aisuru turned out pretty good." She said. I sighed and frowned softly.

"But I missed so much of her life. Hope took her away from me when she was ten and I didn't even get to see her again until she was sixteen. Six years... probably the most important six years of my baby girl's life... and she spent them in fear of Hono, with her Daddy not there to protect her." I said. I felt tears rise to my eyes. Makino stroked my cheek softly.

"That wasn't your fault Shanks. You did everything you could. But the important thing is she's here now, with us." She said. I sat up and pulled Makino in to my lap and held her to my chest. I felt the tears threatening to spill. She held me tight.

"Makino..." I breathed.

"Yes, Shanks?" She asked. I kissed her cheek.

"Please... don't ever leave me... Don't take our baby away from me." I whispered weakly. She rubbed my back and kissed my cheek. She pulled away and looked me in the eyes.

"Never." She said. I kissed her and held her tight.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you more." She whispered back. I buried my face in her neck.

Aisuru's POV

"So what are they naming the baby?!" Nami asked excitedly. I was video chatting with my friend group. Ki and Zoro were in the same screen. From what I could tell, Zoro was at Ki's place. And it also seemed that Sanji was at Nami's. Luffy, Usopp and Kaya were in their own screens.

"We just found out today, Nami. We still have to find out the gender of the baby before we name it." I giggled.

"What are you hoping for, Aisuru? Brother or sister?" Zoro asked. I shrugged.

"I wouldn't mind either." I said.

"I'm sure Dad and Makino won't mind a few suggestions if you guys have any." I said. My friends grinned.

"I have some." Kaya said. I grabbed my notebook and wrote down two categories, one column for boy, the other for girl.

"Okay, go." I said.

"For a boy, Eli and for a girl, Bethany." She said. I wrote them down.

"Cute!" I said.

"I've got some! For a girl, Belle and for a boy, Cole!" Nami said. I wrote down the names.

"You got any, Zoro, Ki, Usopp, Sanji, Luffy?" I asked.

"For a boy, Kage, for a girl, Fae." Ki said.

"For a boy, Tetsuo, for a girl, Temura." Zoro said.

"For a boy, Axel, for a girl, Sofia." Usopp said.

"For a boy, Reinaldo!" Luffy cheered.

"And for a girl?" I asked.

"Can't come up with any pretty girl names." He said with a shrug.

"Why's that?" Nami asked.

"Because the prettiest girl's name is already taken." He said.

"By who?" I asked with a giggled.

"By you, Ai-chan." He said, taking me by surprise.

"Eh?!" I asked.

"I can't think of any name that's prettier than Aisuru." He said. I hid my blushing face behind my notebook as my friends cooed at us.

"O-okay! Sanji, do you have any suggestions?" I asked.

"Rei." Sanji said.

"Rei? For boy or girl?" I asked.

"Both." He said. I wrote it down.

"That's a pretty cool name, Sanji." I said. My friend grinned at me through the screen.
