Sequel Sneak Peak

Luffy's POV

I walked in to the park and immediately froze. After I had unpacked everything and played with Chopper and Rogue for a bit, I had decided to go back to the park where I first told Aisuru that I loved her. The park where I first saw the scars on her back.

There she was, over by the playground. Sitting on a blanket with a two year old boy running around her. I could guess that was her brother, Kai. Wow, Kai really looked a lot like Shanks.

I wanted to go over and talk to her, but...

She looked so beautiful...

Her red hair touched her shoulders. She seemed a little bit taller and it seemed like she had gained more muscle. She had a more confident air about her. She seemed more brave than when I left. Not as timid. But her smile?

It was the same sweet smile she had given me when I told her I loved her and I would always protect her. It was the same bright smile that she gave me when I gave her that necklace for our first Christmas together. It was the same bright smile that belonged to the girl I fell in love with.

I felt nervous suddenly for the first time in two years. What if she didn't love me any more? What if she's moved on? What if she found someone else? What if she didn't want to see me again? I felt my hands start to shake in fear. I wasn't ready to face her just yet.

"I'll wait for you." Her soft a voice echoed in my head. I looked at her again, then dropped my eyes back to my right hand. On my ring finger, where the promise ring she gave me sat.

"Not yet. I need to do something special. Just for her." I muttered to myself, turning and leaving the park so she wouldn't see me. I thought hard. What could I do for Aisuru that was just as special as she was? I hummed, then an idea came to me.

Zoro. He was always coming up with special dates for him and Ki in school. He'd know what to do! I would ask Sanji, but I saw him out with Nami earlier. Last time I interrupted one of their dates, Nami punched me and Sanji kicked me in to a wall.

I really don't wanna go through that again. Nami could be really scary when she wanted to be.

Shuddering at the memory, I turned towards Zoro's place and hoped that he was there and not at Ki's. It would be hard to surprise Aisuru if she came home while I was still over there.

RT_Strawhat_Ninja: Soooo, yeah, I know at the end of Cafe Curious that it would be this one and then Yatsumi's story, but this story is now at 82 chapters and I don't want a repeat of My Own One Piece where I go over 90 chapters and I had to cut a LOT out of this story just so it wouldn't and I still came very close.

If I didn't split the story in to 2 books, then it's most likely this story would be 100+ chapters and I really don't want a book to go over 100 chapters.

So the story line up as of now:

Fearless- The Sequel to Red Hair's Daughter. Coming soon.

The Phoenix's Bird- A Marco x Yatsumi (OC) story. (Miss_Kuro_Neko I look forward to your reaction to this one.)

Welp, see ya in  Fearless.

And for all of you that are going to wonder, Yes. There will be babies.

Also, I'm going to take a small break from One Piece fanfics. I will be back, but I just have so many ideas for Final Fantasy XV that they're eclipsing One Piece. I'm just getting the FFXV jitters out and then I'll be back at the One Piece writting. I actually intend to be back by the time you're reading this, so Hi!

Okay, now see you in Fearless.
