My Girl
Aisuru giggled as she watched Luffy eat his banana split next to her. He had whipped cream all over his cheeks and on his nose. She picked up a napkin and wiped his cheeks, then cleaned the whipped cream from his nose. He grinned at her as an idea came to his mind. He scooped some whipped cream on to his finger and placed it on her nose.
"Luffy!" She giggled. She went to wipe it, but Luffy caught her hand.
"Let me." He said. She nodded. He leaned forward and kissed the cream off of her nose, making her blush wildly. He laughed as he took the napkin and cleaned the remaining cream from her nose.
"You're so cute, Ai-chan." He said. She blushed harder.
"D-do you really think I'm cute?" She asked. Luffy nodded.
"And pretty. Really pretty." He said. Aisuru's face almost matched her hair. Luffy smiled and cupped her cheek, gently stroking it with his thumb.
"I never knew that Luffy could be so gentle." Aisuru thought.
"Hey, Ai-chan?" Luffy asked.
"Yeah, Luffy?" She asked softly.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Luffy asked. Aisuru's heart stopped. She blinked at him. A soft, yet strong blush was settled on his cheeks. His eyes didn't leave hers, but she could see many emotions in his eyes. He was nervous and even a little shy, but brave at the same time.
"Y-you want me to be your girlfriend? Are you sure?" She asked nervously. Luffy nodded.
"I like you a lot, Ai-chan. And not just as a friend. I've had dreams of cuddling with you, dancing with you, holding your hand, kissing your cheeks... I really, really like you. You're so nice and cute, and pretty and your smile makes my chest feel weird, but it's a good weird." He said. His blush slowly grew wider on his cheeks.
"Luffy." Aisuru said softly. Luffy's eyes met hers once again as he had looked away as his blush grew.
"Your smile makes my chest feel that weird, too." She said softly. Luffy's eyes widened and a small smiled tugged at his lips.
"Ai-chan?" He asked. She held his hands.
"I'd love to be your girlfriend, Luffy." Aisuru said. A bright grin broke over Luffy's face. He pulled her in to his chest and hugged her tight.
"I'm so happy. You're my girl!" He laughed. Aisuru giggled.
"And you're my boy." Aisuru said and hugged him back. She felt so safe and so warm in his arms.
After a while, Luffy texted Ace as it was time to go home. Luffy returned the skates while Aisuru waited for him outside. She hummed happily to herself as she stared at the sky.
"Well, aren't you a cute little thing?" A voice came across. Aisuru turned her head and saw a boy with scruffy blonde hair, tanned skin, muscles and tattoos leering at her. She swollowed hard and fought back the shudder that ran down her spine.
"S-sorry." She said and stepped to get out of his way, but he stepped with her and closer to her. Her heart beat fast as a sense of danger crawled up her back. He reached out and stroked a strand of her hair.
"You really are a fine thing. Cute face, great curves, nice ass." He said. She swatted his hand away.
"How about you come with me and ditch this joint, sexy thing?" He asked. She stepped away again and he stepped closer.
"I-I have a boyfriend." She said.
"He's a loser. Don't you want to see what a real guy can do?" He asked. She stepped away again.
"Pl-please. Leave me alone." She said.
"Luffy, where are you?" She thought. She was starting to panic. He reached for her waist and she pushed his hands away.
"Please! Stop!" She yelled out.
"Bellamy!" A voice yelled out. Suddenly Luffy was at Aisuru's side, his arm around her waist and glaring at the blond now identified as Bellamy.
"Keep your hands off of my girlfriend. Unless you want to re-live the incident in Jaya." Luffy said with a dark voice. Bellamy stepped back. Aisuru hugged tight to Luffy.
"She's yours, Luffy?" He asked. He sneered.
"Let me know when you ditch the little shit, babe." Bellamy said and walked away. Luffy glared after him before taking a deep breath and looking at Aisuru.
"He didn't hurt you, did he?" Luffy asked. Aisuru shook her head, but tears started to roll.
"Ai-chan? Are you okay?" Luffy asked.
"I was so scared." She cried. Luffy kissed her head.
"You don't need to be. I've got you. I'll never let anyone hurt you. I promise." He said. She dried her tears, but still held on to Luffy.
Ace showed up not long after that. Luffy held Aisuru's hand in the car all the way home. They pulled up in front of the house.
"Alrighty, Aisuru. We'll see you around!" Ace grinned back at her. Aisuru smiled in return, feeling much better.
"I'll walk you to the door, Ai-chan." Luffy said, crawling out of the car with her. He held her hand as they walked up to the door. She looked up at him as they reached the door.
"Thanks, Luffy. I had fun." She said softly, a blush rising to her cheeks. Luffy grinned at her.
"I'm glad. I'll see you at school on Monday, my pretty girlfriend." He said with a bright grin. Aisuru smiled and blushed.
"I'll see you Monday, my cute boyfriend." She said. Luffy leaned in and kissed her cheek. She blushed and pecked a quick kiss to his cheek before darting inside the house. She heard Luffy cheer from the other side before returning to his big brother's car and going home. She pressed her hand to the spot where Luffy kissed her cheek, fingers delicately brushing over it.
"Hey, sweetie. How was your date?" Shanks asked. Aisuru smiled.
"Luffy asked me to be his girlfriend." She said. Shanks fell off the couch in surprise.
"He what?!" Shanks asked.
"Are you okay, Daddy?" She asked. Shanks pulled himself up off the floor and dusted himself off.
"I'm okay, just surprised. So Luffy is your boyfriend now, huh?" Shanks asked. Aisuru smiled and nodded. Shanks smiled softly at his daughter.
"Well, I'm glad it's someone I know so well. Otherwise I'd have to do something dramatic." He said. Aisuru giggled.
"Daddy, please." She said.
