Time Skip: Winter

I played my violin softly to myself. I was waiting for Luffy to come pick me up for the winter formal.

There was a lot going through my head tonight. For one, Zoro seemed more dazed and out of it than normal and things almost seemed tense and awkward for him and Ki. Ki said they had decided to skip the Winter Formal this year, so she was letting me use her dress from last year. I asked Ki if she and Zoro had been fighting and she assured me that they weren't, just a lot of things were happening and they weren't able to spend much time together.

I knew Zoro had gotten a part time job at the local gym as a janitor, and Ki was working as a waitress at the Baratie. Their jobs were probably taking away their time together and they weren't used to it yet. But then again, they both seem to be spacing out more that usual. Ki doesn't even sit in Zoro's lap at lunch any more.

"Aisuru! Luffy's here!" Makino called up to me. I hopped to my feet and placed my violin in it's case. I walked down the stairs and Luffy smiled at me when he saw me. I blushed softly under his gaze.

"You look beautiful, Ai-chan." He said to me. I blushed harder.

"Th-Thank you." I stuttered. Luffy pulled me close to him and gave me a quick kiss.

"Awww, how cute." Makino teased us. I giggled and rested my head on Luffy's chest as Makino took a picture. After that, Luffy lead me out to Ace's car.

"Wow, Aisuru! You're Jaw-dropping tonight!" Ace said to me. I giggled.

"Don't let her out of your sight, Luffy. Someone might steal her away, yoi." Marco said from the passenger side. Luffy frowned and pulled me close to him.

"No one could ever take me away from Luffy." I reassured and kissed my boyfriend's cheek. Luffy smiled and kissed me.

"Aaaww, cute!" Ace and Marco teased at the same time.

"Oh, hey, definately call me when you guys leave. There's supposed to be a blizzard tonight." Ace said. Luffy nodded.

"We will, Ace."

Time skip

Luffy walked me up to the house, sheilding me from the start of the blizzard.

"Good night, Ai-chan." He said.

"Good night, Luffy. Be safe." I said. He leaned down and kissed me goodnight.

"I will. I love you." He said. I smiled.

"I love you, too." I said. I opened the door and stepped inside the house and watched Luffy run back to Ace's car. Once he was safely in, I shut the door to my house.

Makino was already in bed and Dad would be home with in the hour. I climbed the stairs to my bedroom and changed out of the dress. I took a quick shower and then went to bed.

I was woken up at about two in the morning when my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I answered tiredly.

"I'm on your front porch. Let me in. I need to talk to you." I heard Ki say before she hung up. Blinking, I got out of bed and went down stairs. I opened the door and saw Ki standing there in a tank top and shorts, barefoot.

"Ki?! What the hell are you doing?! Get in here, you're going to get sick!" I said, grabbing her arms and pulling her in before closing the door. Her skin was like ice.

"How long were you out there?" I asked. She shrugged. I pulled her to the couch and wrapped a blanket around her. That's when I noticed the dark circles under her eyes, her messy hair and the look in her eyes. She looked like she had been crying. That was odd to me because Ki never cries.

"Ki? What's wrong?" I asked. Ki grabbed my hand. Her hands were shaking.

"Aisuru.... I... I think Zoro is cheating on me." She said quietly. I stared at her.

"What?" I asked.

"I think Zoro is cheating on me." She said. I gave her a look.

"Why would you think that Zoro is cheating on you, Ki?" I asked.

"Well... he doesn't hold me as much as he used to, he hardly comes over anymore, and between classes, I see him talking with a freshman girl. Brown hair, blue eyes, tan skin... here's a picture of them." She said, handing me her phone. I looked at the picture, then sent it to my self. I grabbed my phone and sent the picture to another one of my contacts.

"I'm so scared, Aisuru. What if he is cheating on me? What if he doesn't love me anymore?" She said, starting to cry. I hugged her.

"Ki, I'm sure this is a big misunderstanding. I see how Zoro looks at you. As of recently, he's been worried about you. But I think he's scared to say anything." I said. She hugged me tightly.

"What did I do to make him cheat on me? I can change. I can be whoever he wants me to be. I just can't lose him." She cried. I rubbed her back. My phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Is Ki in the room with you?" I heard.

"Yes." I said.

"Put me on speaker, she needs to hear this." I put my phone on speaker.

"Okay, go." I said.

"Ki? It's Bridget."

"What the hell do you want?" Ki snapped.

"Look, you have absolutely no reason to like or trust me, I can understand that, but the girl that Zoro has been talking to? That's Kate's little sister, Jenny. She's had a crush on Zoro ever since you almost drowned Kate in the fountain freshmen year. She's teamed up with Jasmine and Yurra. She's trying to break you and Zoro up. She's been telling Zoro that you've been meeting up with other guys after school for money. Not at your job." Bridget said.

"And why should I believe you?" Ki asked.

"Ki, I know you have every reason to hate me. Hell, I'm not even asking your forgiveness. I'm doing this because I owe you guys. I did a lot of bad shit to you guys and I want to make up for it. Zoro is not cheating on you." Bridget said.

"How do I know you're telling the truth."

"Look at the picture Aisuru sent to me again. Zoro's locker is open. Look in it." Bridget said. We looked at the picture on Ki's phone.

"There's a box. It says "Ki's 2 year gift" on it." I said.

"Exactly. Zoro has been waiting for the right moment to give you a special gift for your two year anniversary. He's just hesitating because he doesn't know that Jenny is Kate's sister and she's lying to him about you." Bridget said. Ki's shoulders dropped.

"Don't take this as forgiveness, Bridget, but I'm trusting you on this." She said. I heard Bridget sigh in relief.

"I'll try to get Zoro to realize that Jenny is Kate's lying sister." Bridget said and then hung up. I hung up and looked at Ki.

"You don't look much better, Ki." I said. She swollowed.

"Well... that's because that's not the only thing." She said. I looked at her. She swollowed.

"M-My period is late... by a month... Aisuru..." Ki bit back a cry. Her head dropped to her hands as a sob broke her throat.

"I think I'm pregnant."
