3rd person POV

Christmas eve......a time when one must spend with their family and friends, a time filled with joy, laughter and hope.....at least for most people it's like that. The people who are not being hunted down by bounty hunters and hitmen. Even in modern day we can't stay away from these bloodthirsty and greedy hunters who only care about the money they're being paid for the job. We go to New York City at top of the Empire State building and at the observation deck, where we see a young couple enjoying their evening together with the man having a box with an engagement ring inside. The man is Jonathan Black CEO of one of the biggest companies in the world and the girl is Diana Vale the heir to the Vale enterprise. Jonathan was a young man in his late 20's with short blonde spikey hair, brown eyes and Diana was about the same age as Jonathan she had long brown straight hair and beautiful blue eyes.

The two have been best friends since childhood and are pretty close to each other because of the bond they share. Their fathers have watched the two grow up to be Jonathan has finally found some courage to ask Diana to marry him. The couple went near the edge of the building as they looked down at the beautiful streets of New York.

Diana : it looks beautiful isn't it?

Jonathan : yes it truly is.....but it's beauty is nothing compared to you.

Diana : oh stop it. You're gonna make me blush.

Jonathan : what if I want to see you blush~? You look cuter when you blush~.

Diana : *giggles and blushes* stop saying such embarrassing things.

Jonathan : but it's true.....see you look cuter now than a second ago.

Diana : *giggles* oh stop it you.

As the young couple laughed and enjoyed each other's they weren't aware of the danger that is nearby. A demon lurking in the shadows. It was the red eyed Demon who was stalking the couple from above. The bounty hunter looked around the place for any guards, which he found none. He called his client to inform them about the situation.

??? : hello?

R.E.D (Red Eyed Demon) : this is R.E.D I have eyes on the target.

??? : good. Did you had any trouble finding the target?

R.E.D : fortunately for you, no. If I did I would have asked for you to raise the payment.

??? : don't worry. Your payment is safe with us.

R.E.D : that's what I like to hear. So.....should it be a silent assassination.......or a public show?

??? : you can do as you wish. However.....if you make it public, there will be a bonus with your reward.

R.E.D : *smirks* alright then. I just need to wait for the golden opportunity. *hangs up the phone.*

The bounty hunter patiently waited for a couple of minutes as he kept stalking the couple. After some more minutes of waiting he saw that Jonathan had the box in his hand.

Jonathan : hey Diana.

Diana : yes? What is it?

Jonathan : it's just that.....we've known each other for a long time now...and....we've been dating for almost two years so.....

Diana : *smiles sweetly* so?

Jonathan : so I thought......maybe now it's a good time that we move to the next level....so...*kneels and shows her the box with the ring inside* Diana....would you marry me?

Diana's eyes were filled with happiness as she heard those words come out of his mouth. To say that she was overjoyed would be an understatement. Jonathan slid the ring in her finger as she answered.

Diana : yes. I will.

The two smiled as they embraced each other and kissed passionately.

R.E.D : *smirks* golden opportunity.

RED then shot the air which made everyone panic. Specially Diana and Jonathan. The people on the deck all ran in different directions just to get away from there and RED used this panic to his advantage and made his way further to the couple with one of his pistols in one hand and his dagger in the other.

Diana : Johnny!

Jonathan : it's alright! Just stay close to me!

The couple started running with the crowd not knowing that they are going straight to the hunter. They both ran with their lives on the line when suddenly they stopped when a second shot was heard right in front of them. Everyone stopped and people got away from the hunter who had a gun. They were finally in a shape of a circle which the young couple and the hunter were in the middle.

R.E.D : well well well. Look who we have here. Jonathan Black and Diana Vale. What a surprise......I was looking for you.

Jonathan : so.....you're the one called "Red Eyed Demon".

R.E.D : yes.....it's Red for short.

Jonathan : I know your kind.....always looking for better prices. Now tell me how much do they pay you....I'll pay triple.

R.E.D : it's quite a tempting offer......but unfortunately.....only my targets can give a counter offer of my client.

Jonathan : what?! Aren't you here for me?!

R.E.D : not this time.....this time......I'm here for the girl.

When he finished Jonathan's eyes widened as he looked back at Diana and as he did Red shot her in the chest twice. Jonathan shouted her name as he caught her cold, dead body. Red put his gun back in it's holster and the dagger in it's sheath. He went towards the edge of the building and looked back at Jonathan.

R.E.D : I'd like to sit and chat......but unfortunately......I have to collect my bounty.

He then jumped down the Empire State and opened his parachute slowly gliding down to one of the alleys as Jonathan hugged the corpse of his beloved fiance.

Jonathan : I swear....*sob* I swear.....he will pay......HE WILL PAY!!!

Red could hear his scream but didn't care. He heard too much of these that now he doesn't even care about them. He moved further in the alley and got on his bike and drove off in the night going to a tower outside the city to meet with his client. He parked his bike right next to the building and went towards the front doors where he was met with some guards.

Guard 1 : the mistress is waiting for you at the penthouse. Don't keep her waiting.

R.E.D : of course.

Red walked through the main hall and to the elevator. He pushed the top button that made the elevator go up to the penthouse. The doors opened and Red walked out of it to see a big room with some guards at every corner of the room, two big couches some chairs and an office desk in the middle. At the desk was Red's current client Haruko Fujini the CEO of Fujini Corp (I know the names are bad don't judge me)

Haruko : oh......I see you have returned Mr Red.

Red : yes, I did.

Haruko : I believe that the job is done.

Red : just turn on the TV and you'll see it.

Haruko nodded at one of the guards and he brought out a remote and turned on the big TV and it showed news of what happened in the Empire State.

Red : as you can see.....the job is done.....and it was a public show.....so....I'll take the bounty and the bonus.

Haruko : agreed.

She nodded at another guard who brought in a suitcase with him. He put it on the desk and opened it for Red to see the money inside. But Red didn't seem satisfied.

Red : this is just the 50 million we agreed on. What about the bonus?

Haruko smirked at the bounty hunter and got up from her chair.

Haruko : follow me.....and I'll give you your bonus.....personally~.

Red smirked under his mask as he followed her to her room which had a king size bed, a closet room for Haruko's clothes, a big flat screen TV, and many other furnishings. As Red got inside the room Haruko closed the door and locked it and since her walls were reinforced, they were sound proof. Haruko moved towards her bed and slowly started to strip out of her clothes as she looked at the bounty hunter seductively.

Haruko : come and claim your bonus~

Red smirked under his mask as he moved closer to her as he took off his suit. When they were both naked they both fell on the bed as Red noticed something hanging from the bed as he smirked.

Red : a mistletoe?

Haruko : a mistletoe.

They both chuckled as they started to kiss in a lustful manner. Then....(sorry ppl.....there ain't gonna be anything 18+ just yet.)

After the 18+ part

The two dropped on the bed panting heavily with smiles on their faces. They were both satisfied after the intense lustful intercourse (is it written like that? Idk....I'm getting confused by the auto correct) Red then got up from the bed and picked up his clothes and started to wear them.

Haruko : aww......not gonna stay for round two~? Or three, four?

Red : sorry sweetheart......but I'm not the kind of guy to stay in a place more than one night.

Haruko : why not? You could stay here forever.....have great amounts of money and people who take orders from you.

Red : sorry......that kind of life ain't for me. Not even a normal life. I'm just bounty hunter.....nothing more.

Haruko : suit yourself then.....but remember......if you ever needed relief......don't be shy to ask.

Red : maybe I'll consider it. For now....I'll be taking my leave with my money. Farewell m'lady.

He unlocked the door and went out closing the door behind him. He picked up the suitcase with the 50 million dollars in it and left the building. Looks like this Christmas went well for the demon.....he got paid and got laid, but unknown to him......Jonathan Black was not like any other of Red's victims.....as he was leaving on his bike to his home in Miami Jonathan was planning revenge for the death of his loved one in his office.

Jonathan : just you wait and see Demon........I'll have my revenge. You destroyed my life......I'll destroy yours.
