《•07-The Four Winds》
Chapter 7- The Four Winds.
Someone shook me. I stretched and sat. Looking around, I wondered, where am I? White, black, weapons.... training room? What am I doing here?
"Why are you sleeping here?"
I turned my head and saw Akashi. I frowned. "I can't remember. Why did I do that?"
He stood. "Don't ask me, anyway, get ready for school."
I jumped to my feet and ran to my room.
* * * *
"Why is there a poster of you?" I questioned as we entered the school ground. I looked around and saw lots of posters, of different people but mostly it's Akashi's image.
"There will be an event next month, it's something like those in the movies.... those homecoming queen stuffs." He answered.
"Homecoming? So, homecoming prince?" I asked.
"The event is called 'Ouji-sama of the year' and 'Hime-sama of the year'." He said.
"Wow, so you're one of the nominees?"
He didn't reply. I admired the surroundings. The students sure are working hard.
"OHMYGOD! HERE'S THE BECOMING PRINCE OF THE YEAR! AKASHI SEIJUUROU!" a female voice shouted and thousand of footsteps was heard. We turned our heads. Around 3/4 of the girls' populations in the school ran towards us with a tall girl with blonde hair in the front, holding a microphone and a guy beside her, holding a camera.
"The hell is this!?" I backed away.
"You should run, now." Akashi said calmly. I glanced at him but before I could say anything further, ocean of homo-sapiens flooded us and I was separated from him. I tried my best to get out and a strong hand grabbed my arm, then I was out.
I panted. "Girls are scary!"
I was in a store room, and I could still hear those screamings outside. I turned my head towards the one who saved me from that chaos.
He was one head taller than me, silvery white hair, blue eyes and ivory skin. "I am Hayashi Hiro. Call me Hiro, or rather, call me Wing. That's my Celestial name." he said, smiling.
My eyes widened and I backed away. "Celestial!?"
"Don't worry, I'm Seijuurou's best friend."
"How can I trust you?"
You can trust him Seiryuu, Akashi said into my head. He's my friend. Stay with him while I get away from these girls.
Hiro.... Wing, whatever, giggled. "Ah ah, Seijuurou can never rest from ocean of fangirls."
"Wow, he's fantastic." I commented.
"He is," Hiro said then stepped back a bit to study me. "Anyway, did he tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
"About the Four Winds?"
"What's that?"
"Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern. Red, Black, White and Blue."
I arched an eyebrow, confused.
He chuckled. "Red Emperor of the Northern Heaven, Black Emperor of the Southern Heaven, White Emperor of the Western Heaven and Blue Empress of the Eastern Heaven."
"Wait-HEAVEN!?"
"That's what it is called."
"What?"
"Seijuurou is the ruler of the Northern Heaven, the northern part of the Celestial. I'm the ruler of the Western Heaven," he bowed, smiling. "Hayashi Hiro."
I flinched. "This is crazy."
"Very much, yes."
Akashi appeared between us. "What's crazy?" he asked.
Hiro shrugged and bro-fist-ed with him. "Yo, long time no see, you've grown taller." Hiro smiled.
Akashi nodded once. "How's your life?"
"Fine as ever," he spread his hand and glanced at me. "Finer when you're here."
Akashi saw that 'special' glance and glared at him. "Don't think of having her. She's my girl."
I gaped while Hiro grinned wider. "I won't do anything." He said. Why the hell did he say that. Then I understood; he was trying to save me from being seduced by this silvery-white haired guy.
"Good," he said. "Now what's your business here?"
Hiro's face turned rigid. "I heard the Demon King put up a very hot notice, saying that whoever-"
Akahsi raised his one hand. "I know it very well. And I can handle it. Don't worry."
Hiro frowned. "I won't. But you see it too, don't you?"
Akashi looked away. "I have class," he grabbed my wrist. "Let's go."
I blinked in confusion as we left Hiro who just watched us going away. Then turned to Akashi. "See what?" I asked.
He kept silent. I stopped and pulled him to stop. He turned to me. "Tell me," I demanded.
"Not your business-"
"I'm your friend, you have to tell me. I have to know everything."
"No you don't."
He turned to walk but I gripped tight. "Tell me, Akashi Seijuurou." I said sternly.
He frowned then decided to open his mouth. "We, Celestials, can see the future. But only a glance of it." He stated.
"And?"
"SEI-CHAN!!!!" a familiar voice echoed through the hallway and a three figures crashed onto Akashi, making them fell to the ground. I winced.
"Oh sorry!" Reo said and stood up quickly followed by Eikichi and Kotarou. He then started to panic again. "Sei-chan! I fought with the demons yesterday! And guess what they told me! They said the Demon King put up a notice that whoever gets your head, they will be promoted to Number One! And and I got that vision!-"
"Reo-" Akashi tried to stop him but,
"-the where you-err, I saw the Demon King holds your fox hostage――"
"MIBUCHI REO!"
Reo stiffened and his eyes went wide as Akashi stood and held his collar roughly. "Sei-chan I'm sorry!" he managed to speak through those chattering teeth.
Akashi frowned then let him go, walking away from us. I blinked. The Demon King holds his fox hostage!? That's what they saw!? OHMYFREAKINGSOUL.
I chased after Akashi. Though I don't really know where he is right now, I just searched. Eventually, I gave up and went to the rooftop which is locked. Not surprising. Akashi should be in class by now. I'll just skip once. I stood in front of the rooftop's door, staring into nothing, thinking about many things.
Suddenly the doorknob twisted and the door opened. I flinched. "Don't worry, it's me." Hiro appeared on the doorway and gestured me in.
"How did you do that?" I asked.
He smiled. "I can manipulate metals."
"Amazing." I muttered and went to the edge, hung my arms on the fence.
"You know what we saw?" he asked.
I glanced at him, who's behind me. "Reo said it out loud."
He chuckled. "Sei must be angry. He wasn't intending on telling you actually."
"Damn straight he did. Scared the shit outta Reo."
"We need to keep an eye on him," He said, appearing next to me. "I need to tell them, too."
I frowned. "Who?"
"The Phoenix and the Dragon."
"Whoa, the Eastern Empress and the Southern Emperor?" I guessed.
He nodded. "Exactly."
"I need to meet them."
"Oh you will, in no time." He guaranteed.
* * * *
Because I didn't get to meet with Akashi even after school is over, I decided to walk home alone considering that he got a meeting for Student Council or something. I stopped by a convenience store to buy some candies.
I'll be home late, Akashi spoke into my head suddenly and I almost yelped. We'll have training tonight.
I sighed. "Why so suddenly?"
He didn't reply. I paid for the bills and got out, walking slowly, enjoying the surroundings when I bumped into someone.
"Ow," I rubbed my head and looked up. "Sorry, I didn't see you-"
The girl in front of me frowned. "Seiryuu?"
My eyes widened. "Suzuko!?"
She blinked in surprised. I took her hand. "What are you doing here in Kyoto?" I asked, grinning widely, super excited at the sight of my cute friend here.
Suzuko, my best friend from Tokyo. Almost the same height as me; a bit taller, long brown hair that reached her waist, brown eyes and fair skin. She was wearing my old school uniform. "Seiryuu, you are here? Why did you leave me?"
I frowned. "I didn't leave you. I did tell you I was going. We even bid farewell. Don't you rememb-"
Then it hit me.
Demon!
Too late. She smirked and in a flash, everything got blurry and the world flipped.
A/N: Okay guys, sorry to tell you but from this chapter onwards, this story will be much, much ridiculous. I understand if you wish to leave now, in fact, I don't mind. I just do this for fun. Keeping ideas inside my head will leave me crazy. The romantic part, the part where they fall for each other will be in an express mode because of certain reasons. I suspect this story will have around 20 chapters, more or less.
Thank you for reading.
I love you.
By my leave, mortals....
