The criminal, "Tikki, I know you do not understand, but I have to be bad." She says.

       "Besides, Adrien chose Alya instead of me," Marinette says. She thinks I still love him.

     "I am sorry, Marinette. Could you just give up crime and tell Adrien how you feel?"  Tikki asks.

     "No, because he loves her," Marinette says. She frowns and thinks, why would he ever care for me when he has Alya?

       Dear Journal,

   Today is another day that is just plain awful. 

 Adrien, the love of my life is still with Alya.  How could they do this to me?

   I know Alya kissed him for the school play, but why did she have to kiss him backstage before it too?  Why did he kiss her back?

   Then, Adrien asked her out instead of me.  Why her, why is not Marinette good enough?

Is it because I am just plain, boring and clumsy?   Maybe he thinks I am ugly too because I have to use some special products to keep the acne away.   He must hate me like everyone else.

   My parents died when I was a child, and I was adopted.  The adoptive parents never loved me. I ran away when I was sixteen and they never once looked for me. 

   Now, I am twenty-one in college, and all on by myself.  I have no friends except for Tikki who takes pity on me.  It is not easy, being alone, forgotten, and unloved.    I turned to a life full of secrets, full of crime, the old me, Marinette no longer exists as far as I am concerned.

 Now, there is only the new me, the tough one who can stand up for herself, the one everyone dreads and fears, and the one who is hated. Hated by one and all, now I am Ladybug, no that is not right, I am Red Bad Bug.  I do as I please, and do not care who gets hurt in the long run.

     Marinette closes her journal, locks it and puts it away. She sobs for awhile conflicted within herself;  she is a girl full of hate, depression, and sorrow. She stands up, wipes away her tears, smiles and eats something.   She finishes her food, now angry with everyone and everything she calls out,  "Tikki spots on!" She transforms.

     Red Bad Bug laughs her evil laugh and thinks no one can stop me. She goes outside to have some fun. She steals a car, then thinks this is just too easy.  

    Adrien sees the criminal, sighs and thinks why do I feel butterflies when she is around?  

     "Adrien, you have to stop her!"  Plagg says.

    "Plagg claws out!"  Adrien says and transforms. 

Chat Noir thinks she might be bad, but she still beautiful.   

The crook fights Nino laughs, then she attacks Alya.   "Chat Noir, help me!" Alya screams.

"Alya, I am here," Chat says. He gets her somewhere safe even though he dislikes her.

"Well, well, kitty!  It looks like you have to deal with me now," Red Bug says. She thinks, wait am I falling for the enemy? She shakes her head, and tells herself, wrong.

    "Y-You are beautiful,"  Chat Noir says, blushes and thinks what I have I done?

   "Well, tomcat I appreciate the compliment,"  Red Bug says with a smirk.

     Suddenly, without warning, she leans in and kisses him, and he kisses the enemy back.  She pulls away,  "Too bad, we can never be together because you are a hero and I am criminal, bye, bye Chat Noir!"  She blushes.

    Chat Noir watches her go, does not try to follow her, sighs, and thinks great Plagg is right, I have fallen in love with the criminal. He snaps out of it, smiles and chases after her.  He thinks she is a good kisser for a bad girl, and her's are even better than Alya's.  

      Nino shakes his head as Chat Noir chases after Red Bad Bug.  He thinks, why did the bad girl kiss Chat Noir?  Does she have a crush on him?
    

    Rena Rouge shows up and wonders where Chat Noir went.  

Nino sees her and thinks, wow, what a woman.

      Rose sees the heroes fight, but thinks it is romantic Chat Noir loves the criminal.  She can tell the bad woman loves him too. She secretly ships them. 

   Two hours later, our heroes still have not caught Red Bad Bug, yet she has escaped again.

The high school and Effiel Tower catch on fire and fall to the ground in a huge pile of ashes. 

"Could this be the work of Red Bad Bug or does Paris have another criminal on the loose? This would be the first time she has ever burned anything before she has been a thief and murderer," Nadja Chamack reports.

"Ah," Nadja suddenly screams.

 All of the sudden is off the air and everything has gone pitch black!   Nadja is mysteriously missing, everyone blames Red Bad Bug, but is it her doing?  Is there a copycat or look-alike on the lose? 

    Chat Noir struggles to believe the rumors the lady criminal is a kidnapper or arsonist.  He knows things look bad for her but is not there some other explanation to what happened to the buildings and Natalie?  He refuses to accept the obvious since even he knows that a person should be given a benefit of the doubt.  Now, he wonders if the bank footage was not done by someone jealous of the crook in disguise.  

    Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, and Kid Zebra just shake their heads. They figure perhaps, all the stress along with his crush on the crook must have gotten to his head. Maybe, this is why he can not keep his facts straight.

  *Author's note at the moment Queen Bee and Kid Zebra are in their civilian forms and have yet to transform into their hero selves.  

  Little does anyone know that things are not always as they seem?
