Yeah this is my first attempt at a mature story not for sexual content mind you but so that I can write a almost disturbing murder scene in this chapter. I don't own RWBY, DC, or this image.

(Vale-Inner Settlement Dusk)

Are monsters born monsters, or are they created by us?-Inner Settlement Midnight resident Edward Morgan

           It is another dark night in Dusk with the Moon being the only source of light somewhere at this place a criminal known only as Kai Locke he is not alone as his guards and some hired muscle to guard his penthouse the reason because of the so called Red Hood who to Kav just seems as some kid who will fail just like the last assassins. He has 16 of the best mercs guarding him one of them their commander was constantly checking his radio ensuring everything was normal two of the mercenaries struck up a conversation to pass the time "Hey Dave" "Yeah Mark" "Why are we doing this" the now named Mark questioned his fellow mercenary "Simple why not he offered a shit ton of Lien and we get the easiest job in the world" "Yeah but what happens if the Red Hood comes by and kills all of us?" Mark asked in frustration "Ha that guy please were some of the best mercenary groups this side of Vale if he's smart he won't try and kill us if anything but if he does come well we will just fill his body full of Dust and watch him explode and we get a bigger paycheck" meanwhile one of the guards outside heard a noise from the right and went to investigate only to be killed from behind by someone "But what if he's more dangerous than we think what if he was a Huntsman?" "Dude Huntsman don't kill their incapable of killing us because then they can't call themselves Protectors of Humanity." Two other guards drop dead with holes in their head "Well it's just that I promised my wife that after this job I am quitting I heard that their offering work in Patch and well I hope that I survive this" Dave could somewhat understand his friend's dilemma "Hey man listen I assure you that everything will go right" "Yeah let that bastard come" "That's nice and all but I am already here" the two turned around to see him Red Hood he had his pistols aimed at both of their heads"Say goodnight" the two guards had no time to react before they dropped dead from his pistols he reloaded his guns and removed their silencers as he approached the door aware of the threat inside. Time to die He kicked the door open surprising the guards inside he killed the ones closer to him and picked off the ones up top leaving about six left in the room the commander tried to radio for backup only to learn it was useless because there was no one to answer he ordered his men to keep up the fire on Red Hood's position, He took a chance and threw a grenade at the mercenaries' position which was only a smoke grenade he rushed out of his cover and jumped over one of the guards cover and blasted his guts with lead hearing a scream behind him he ducked and flipped a guard over his back and blew his head off with what remains of the person's cranium splattering over a box near him. He killed the other two guards and approached the commander who tried to grab his gun and fail as Hood shot his hand off before he could grab it placing his foot on his chest and aiming his gun at his head he began to question the wounded dog "Where's your client" "Fuck yo- AHHHHHH" the commander was interrupted by his kneecap being destroyed by the vigilante's gun "Once more where's your client" "Top floor just please let me live" *BANG* Red Hood with this new info ended the man's life and began walking towards the elevator and sent it to the top floor.

(Top Floor)

        4 guards aimed their guns at the elevator as it was moving up when it finally arrived they begun shooting violently into it only to realise that there was nothing there but then a beeping noise starting to go off *BOOM* a bomb went off destroying the elevator and killing all but one of guards near it leaving the only survivor bleeding and wounded as he tried to crawl towards safety only to find himself face to face with a barrel of a gun *BANG* Red Hood climbed his way to the top and sent the elevator as a trap he kicked the doors to the office and saw Kai tying his best to not shit his pants "Please I beg of you don't hurt me!" "Don't worry I only came here to talk" Red said as he approached the terrified man "Oh really well wh-" the man was unable to finish his sentence since he was knocked out by Red pistol-whipping him unconscious "Just in somewhere more private."

       "Do you see  that I am your creation, your beloved masterpiece, I am your child, your are Dr. Frankenstein and I am your monster, you are the father I am your son, but now I am your demon, your nightmare, your ghost of the past," Kai awoken to the sound of singing when he tried to move he found himself restrained in metal chains which alerted the person singing he grabbed his mask on the table and put it on "I would say good morning but in truth its not even midnight" "Please why are you doing this what did I do to deserve this" Red stood up and turned around and began walking towards the bound man with a saw in hand. "Really you don't know that's rich coming from you Kai Locke also known as The Distributor of Death you really forgot this or did you think that everyone would forget what you did" "So what are you a child of one of the people that was killed" "Oh no I'm worse than that do you remember an old associate of yours Roman Torchwick" "Oh no are you his son or something please I swear I will pay you back just let me live." "HAHAHA oh no that is-that is hilarious no to say something like that is to suggest I am on the same level as his." He brought his face really close to the mask that obscured his face "I am much worse now then where is Raven Branwen" "Who is that I don- AHHHHHHHHHHHH" Kai was interrupted by his face being grasped by Red Hood and applying pressure to it"Ohh wrong answer now I will ask again and you better answer or you are going to regret it" "Fuck you AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Red hood began his torture by grabbing Kai's eye and slowly pulling it out of his eye socket as his screams got louder and louder as he pulled it out further and further till the nerves that connected his eye to his brain was exposed he continued pulling until it could be pulled no more and he gave it a few more tugs before the nerves snapped and Kai's screams reached the loudest volume it could get when he opened his left eye he saw his right eye looking right at him and he felt blood pouring out of the socket where his eye used to be "You *huff* are a sick *huff*  bastard" he yelled "To me that's a complement now where is Raven Branwen" "How the fuck am I supposed to know?" "Tut tut tut I know that you sell her weapons and according to your record you never forget your clients and where you sell them to so where is she" "I don't fucking know" "wrong again" Red grabbed his hand and brought the saw onto it so close that it began to draw blood "Once more answer the question or you lose your hand and I will do it slowly" "Alright alright as I remember she is located all over Vale but I know she is out there in the frontier" "Where in the frontier" "I don't know somewhere AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH please don't do it" "It's too late now if you valued your hand you shouldn't have lied." He began cutting into the bone as blood started to pour out of the fresh wound "AHHHH" Red continued moving the saw back and forth as it began to cut in deeper and deeper into the hand and when the blade reached deep enough he brought the blade up and then slammed it down onto his hand cutting it off from Kai's body "So where is she" "Within the area of the settlements Sol and Via within a 5-mile radius" Kai said with a raspy voice "Good you do value your life that is good to know" "I gave you what you want now please I beg of you let me go" Red turned around and walked over to the nearby table and place the saw down "Yeah that's not going to happen you have debts to repay" "What" He grabbed a sledgehammer and slowly walked over to Kai and he started to freak out trying desperately to free himself causing the chair to fall over as his movements got more and more frantic as Red eventually brought the hammer above his head and readied to bring it down onto his leg "No WAIT PLEASE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

     Red brought the hammer down onto his leg and broke the bones within and raised the hammer up and brought down onto his other leg as Kai's screams began to ring loudly in the dark place with Kai's leg destroyed and him being incapable of basic movement Red went back to the table and grabbed a pair of pliers "Time for you to admit your guilt."

It was a frightening sight in Iridescent Kai Locke was found hanged by his intestines with clear signs of torture shirtless there was a message carved into him it said "Orphan Maker" this is what the local police had to deal with.
