Okay, long story short, I kinda got busy with school work. Sorry for not updating.. but thanks anyways for reading..

I had to blink twice and squint at Sara. It was obvious that she was in a weird state. Sara's hands were hugging me tightly around the torso and she was murmuring incoherent words.

"Travis... why do.. never mind" Sara mumbled.

I shifted uneasily and the sofa dipped inwards causing Sara to reach wildly onto me.

I got the book I wanted after roughly snatching it out of Sara's hands, but how in the world do I come out.

Fortunately, Travis came in the room. He bashfully stood and I had to stare at him for a long moment.

Dark brown curly hair and eyes which looked like someone I have seen before.

His clothes were crumpled and his dark circles told me he had a tough last night.

"Uh... Your Highness, I have come.. um... to check on Sara." he spoke promptly.

I gradually absorbed this and the fact I still was trapped in Sara's arms. I gracefully but forcefully stood up, but got squished into a bone-crushing hug.

Travis smiled knowingly. He swiftly dragged me out without even listening to my warnings and himself got bear hugged by Sara's arms. Her arms reached till his broad chest. I stood dumbfounded because I yelled at him for dragging me out without my permission, but now I was free and unharmed.

He also tried to rise but fell back on the couch. I sighed in defeat because I felt guilty and went to help him out.

"Your Highness, I am fine. I am actually planning to tell Sara something important." he said with a sneaky grin. I wanted to ask, but I refrained because I feared I was being too nosy.

Slowly, I walked away thinking of the many possibilities of what important talk could be going on. I gracefully shut the door and abruptly stopped.

Curiosity surged in me and I hid behind the door to listen to any noise. I heard a pair of snoring and I already bet both of them were fast asleep. I waited for a few more minutes but it was pin-drop silence.

I shook my head at Travis's dumb lie and walked away. At least this whole incident let me gain the book which was found by Travis and gifted it to me.

And for some odd reason, Sara was using it as a pillow when I found it. Sara is acting an awfully lot weird, I pondered.

Travis found it but, Brandon told me first. It was the first time he acknowledged me after the criminal incident, but he fully assured me that if he put a poison in the book, he will be killed from the palace guards. That did not sound assuring still so I made one of my guards smell the book and he reported no signs.

I shut the door fast and it made a satisfying "tick" and I felt relived from the public. The frustration took over of being cursed. So I opened the magical book and found out something totally unexpected.

The book was completely normal which was the first thought I had. The first word was "the" before the pages began to turn until the force was so strong some papers flew out. I squinted at the last page the book turned to, and gasped before one of the papers blinded me.
