Revelations
____________Sara____________
He jumped, I screamed and then I woke up disoriented.
Who am I? I cautiously slid the covers off and I was still in my pajamas.
My head felt heavy and began to hurt very hard.
My room was neat in the castle and I did not see the lovely chocolate I ate one piece of..
Hmm.. I suddenly had a glimpse of a flashback.
"Yes, she gave chocolates which tasted wonderfullo." I slurred and watched Angela's face flash panic as I suddenly blacked out.
A heavy weight settled on me and yes that was the end of the flashback.
I glanced around wistfully feeling more dizzy. I slid out of the bed and eyed my room apprehensively. I suddenly felt cold and my heart thumped hard. My head hurt a lot and it took full concentration to just see my door.
Abruptly, I fell to my bed and just stared with nostalgia of no memory. I could not remember anything last night thankfully because if I did it would muddle me more. I heard a distant noise of my door crackling.
"Err...Sara.." a quiet voice said. Its voice started to echo hundered times and I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Yes, who is this?" I asked quickly because my head was throbbing and I could not think straight.
"Oh its Brandon, you were not replying when I knocked so ... can I come in?" he asked.
"No... I mean yes, uhm actually right now would not be the time.." I replied as I tried steading myself to sit on the bed.
"Oh, okay, just let me know when.. because I need to talk to you urgently." he responded lightly like he was holding a tight secret.
"Ok" I muttered as I helplessly slumped to the soft mattress head first. Languidly, I made myself comfortable and passed out.
"We are here! I cannot believe I just did this." Travis yelled with his brown eyes gleaming. He gently put me down to my feet and stared at me.
The place was a fantasy. There was castles every block and people hurriedly walking past us. The sky was a pretty midnight color with a moon and stars. Everywhere was antique styled fires hanging on walls or in people's hands. This looked like the older style of the place I lived.
"How do you like it?" Travis asked excitely watching my emotions carefully.
I smiled. "It is beautiful here."
"I know and now I have to show you something seriously important." he abruptly changed his emotions and was dragging across the pathway full of people swarming in both directions. He grabbed my hand and we speed walked to an antique looking house. The house however reminded me of the place where my mother was killed....
No.. Travis would not.. could not..
"Travis why are we going here?" I questioned. His smooth chocolate hair flicked to my side and shimmered under the torch above him. "It is related to your mother." he said as his eyes shone with a gold mischievous glint.
We entered the rustic half door and walked in it. It somewhat looked like a cowboys ranch home with complete dressed up cowboys and cowgirls. The girls seemed to stare at me disgustly for wearing a full pink dress with my hair styled. It struck me odd not remembering to change. Also, Travis was wearing a black tuxedo with a matching pink rose on his breast pocket. All the cowgirls seemed to swoon seeing him.
We stood there holding hands beacause he was waiting for the right time to pull me to the place.
A gun shot brought everyone's attention from a one of the taller intimadating cowgirls. All the girls stood up and the guys stared at her.
She was a beautiful lady with black hair matching her dark brown eyes. She smiled once everyone gained her attention.
"Y'all see my friend Daunt, she ain't a normal type of gurl." she said with a southern accent. The girl Daunt came next to the black haired girl. She had a vivid red curly hair with emerald green eyes. She also had dozens of freckles on her cheeks. Daunt smiled with her dimples to lash out.
"Show them all," the black haired girl demanded.
Then Daunt did the unthinkable, she stood rooted on the wooden floor and melted. The girls stared while the boys gasped in complete horror. Travis and me, however, stood rigidly still awaiting what will happen next.
I inspected the girl more carefully to see she was a miniature of herself. She looked like a six year old of herself. Her dress had also turned to a mini cowboy hat with clothing and leather boots. My hand covered my mouth. But that was impossible. Daunt, then unfroze and looked at the black haired girl.
"But that's impossible," one man bursted.
"Naw, it ain't impossible, but now possible." the dark haired girl or should I say Darky faced the man. The little Daunt followed Darky and Darky lifted her with her arms.
"I know I am not myself," Daunt said with a young baby voice. The whole room gasped at her voice and her ability to talk except the cowgirls. Darky suddenly remembered something and put her back down and rushed to the back of the room.
"But I am completely normal and I still have a brain of a twenty year old." the girl said with enthusiam.
Daunt did not have a southern accent and something about this girl was bugging me.
"That's it for now." she said cautiously looking for her friend. Then the crowd went nuts chattering loud for my ears to explode.
"Travis, I-"
"It is a good idea, Sara." Travis responded promptly. He grabbed my wrist and took me toward the back of the room where Daunt left.
"Travis, uh... I really don't think-" I began again but he motioned me to stay silent. We edged closer to the door until I saw something that made me gasp in fright. Both girls Darky and Daunt (in full form) were looking at wallets and spilling money out. They were rushing and not aware that there door was open. Darky was evilly smiling and Daunt had a weird dreamy look on her face. I noticed Travis's look of fright changed to anger. He was boiling with belligerence.
"They steal people's money." he concluded and I looked more closely. Women did not keep dark leather wallets, but instead took more bright wallets like blue. All the wallets were dark brown and I noticed that a pair of blood red shoes were on the table. The same shoes that the little girl pointed out a diamond in our mother's pocket...
Then I made a shocking inference. Daunt was that girl, but how is it possible she is alive? And Darky who was right now eyeing the money and counting could be that terrible monster who killed my mother?
But that did not make sense because here she was a beautiful woman with healthy skin and hair. She did not seem to be glitching or anything. Travis squeezed my hand and stared at me for a minute. Then I nearly fainted when I saw what he was trying to avoid to see. It was Darky standing up looking intently at both Daunt who was sitting lazily and the small hole in he door.
"I feel someone's presence," Darky said trying to look through the tiny window.
"It must be your brilliant imagination," Daunt replied.
"I know we stole all the men's money, but now what can we do? I want to marry someone handsome, now." Daunt said carefully waiting for Darky's reaction.
Darky frowned for a milisecond but then said, "I think you are right, how about we marry each other. I need someone to protect me," she said caustically. She said it so bitter, that no one could tell if she was joking or actually being serious.
But the red head seemed to not hear. Instead, she leaned back on the chair.
"Now that we have enough money, I can finally marry the man of my dreams." she sighed. She did not even even see Darky's face getting a slight pink and angry.
"Well if you get marry, you will split the money. Do you want to do that?" Darky asked. "I thought you wanted to send the money to me because I might not last long." the girl warned.
"Why, I think yes I will spilt the money because I will finally acc-"
"Okay, fine, I don't want to work with you anymore. Hand me my money back in the kitchen," Darky said pugnaciously and she muttered a curse and walked through a hidden exit. Daunt looked mildly affected and just sighed again and said,
"One day I will marry the man of my dreams who would own thousands of gems and will love me back with all of his heart. I will find this man, Leah, I will find this man.." she whispered eerily looking at the money with keen interest.
"One day I will. The man will help Leah and she will get married. Then we all will live happily forever after." she said in a childish tone with her green eyes gone to a pitch black.
Suddenly, I felt self-concious and looked back. And right behind me was the dark eyes of a brutal killer with a large smirk eteched on her face. I nearly fainted and tugged hard on Travis's hand to make him look back causing the door to widen. His expression might have been priceless for a picture, but not at this moment.
"Why hello there," the girl purred with a murderous glint in her eye.
