   I spat out blood and clenched my teeth; slowly pushing myself up. I let out a small growl and leaned on the pole; holding on with the little strength I had. I looked at the Beta who went by the name Erick and glared at him.

   "I said, there's no more werefox! Can't you get that through your thick skull?!" I spat and glowered at him; feeling the blood pouring out of my wounds faster and trickling down my back.

   "Are you sure?" He asked, slowly circling like a predator would to a prey. "Because according to other Alphas, there have been more than one spotting of a large group of werefox." I stilled at his statement.

   There was more of us?

   "Also, it seems like they are starting an uprising against werewolves. Of course, you filthy creatures are still selfish like always." I let out a low growl.

   "They have been seen close to the borders; some even trying to trespass. So I ask you, what are you creatures planning?" He bought down the knucke rings from the wall and slid them on.

   "Look. Like I said so before, I don't know what they're planning and that they even existed. So please stop already." I begged, feeling ashamed of myself for begging to a werewolf.

   "I believe you," My shoulders sagged in relief, "But let's continue playing. I was having so much fun." He gave me a vicious smirk and approached me silently.

   I staggered back knowing that I wasn't going to hold much longer. I stuck out a hand in front of me, squinting between my slightly swollen eyes.

   "Stop." I stated firmly. He took my wrist and twisted it; a snap alerting me he had broken it. I cried out in pain and he landed his first punch on me.

   The hard hit from the knuckle rings puchinh the air out of me. I weezed and gasped for breath. Another punched landed on my face but I managed to hold my ground.

   It took a punch to the side of my head to make me black out. The pain of the lashes and the punches weakening me. I fell foward and hit my head on the blood splattered concrete floor.

   Slowly giving in to the dark abyss and gladly welcoming it to get rid of the pain, it was lights out for me.

   "Erick, I'm coming back later this day. You better have some information on the werefox. Everything better be prepared for my arriving." I ordered my Beta Erick.

   "Yes Alpha. We're prepared for your arriving." Erick responded, his voice wavering slightly. A sign that something had gone wrong.

   I growled through the phone and said, "What's wrong?" The shuffling on the other line confirming my suspicions.

   "I did like you asked Alpha. I tortured the girl to try to see what she knew but she said that she didn't know anything. I think I went a little to far on the torture..." I snarled and told him to continue.

   "The girl blacked out and she's on the verge of dying. I was aking if you give us permission to take her to the pack doctor?" I let out a vicious growl that shook the books on the bookshelf behind me; some even falling.

   "Aside from not getting any information, you almost killed one of our baits?!" I was furious.

   "Y-yes. I'm sorry Alpha. I should've thought better." He stammered, sounding really frightened and oh he should.

   "Yes you should've had! Now one of our baits is dying! Take her to the pack doctor. You will be punished when I arrive." I snarled and hanged up, slamming my fist on the oak desk.

   I slammed open the door to the pack house and walked in. I made sure to look bigger and stronger; liking the look of fear flash on my pack member's faces. Good.

   "A-alpha." My Beta whispered and lowered his head in submission along with the others.

   "My office. Now." I stated and walked away confidently to my office; my Beta scampering behind me.

   When the doors shut behind Erick, I turned around and slammed him to the wall. Tightening my hands around his neck, he started clawing at them, a look of fear in his face.

   I found it amusing how he acted all high and mighty when I wasn't around but when I was, he was a frightened and coward pup.

   "I gave you one job! One! And you couldn't even do it right?!" Erick whimpered and struggled beneath me. I holded him tighter and pushed him higher up the wall.

   His face started turning diferrent shades of red and I let him go. He slumpped down and started gasping for air. I smirked and walked to my desk, sitting on it and pouring myself a glass of whiskey.

   The ice cubes clinking on the glass and my Beta gasping for air where the only sounds in the room. I took a sip and sighed contently.

   "Now, where were we?"

   My body felt like fire when I woke up from my slumber. My face felt streched and pulled with what I assumed was stiches and my back felt like if they were putting alcohol on my wounds.

   I groaned and attempted to stretch on the uncomfortable position I was on. A feminine voice speaking, startling me.

   "You're awake." She said. I tried to turn around trying to get a good view on who the owner of the voice was.

   "Don't move, you'll hurt yourself more." She said. I snapped at her.

   "Well then let me see you!" I let out a grow when she came into view.

   It was 'B'.

   Letting out a battle cry, I pulled myself up only to realize I was handcuffed to the bed railings. I screamed and yanked at the handcuffs to no avail.

   "Its for safety protection." 'B' said, her arms clasped behind her back and a calm yet serious look on her face.

   "For what? Your scared that I could beat you up?" I taunted, knowing that I was no match for her in these conditions.

   "You wish." She rolled her eyes at me but kept her calm facade.

   I glared at her and rested my head on the pillow. The air fanning my bare back. I was laying on my stomach with the sheets up to my waist were I was wearing a pair of shorts from what I felt.

   "Look, I'm here to say I'm sorry." I froze not expecting an apology. "We started off on the wrong foot." I grunted but stayed quiet, letting her continue.

   "My name is Beatrice and as you can see, I'm your friend's mate." I growled at her.

   "He's not my friend." Her eyebrows raised in suprise. "He's my mate." I smirked when her face dropped.

   "What?" She asked, a look of disbelief on her face.

   "You heard me. He's my mate." She looked at me with confusion.

   "No, that's not right. He's m-my mate. I can feel it." She hugged herself and turned around muttering to herself.

   "He's not." I stated seriously.

   She turned around and looked at me with a hurt but hating look. I smiled sweetly at her which seemed to tick her off. She turned on her heel and was out the door, slamming it shut.

   I was willing to do anything to keep my Damien. I felt a tad bit guilty afterwards but I didn't think much about it. Later a nurse came in and shot me with what she said would numb the pain and put me to sleep.

   It did and soon enough, I was asleep once again.

   "Show me were the female is." I ordered my Beta who took me to the doctor wing of the pack house.

   On the way, I felt slightly concerned with the female but then angry at myself for thinking that way.

   Erick walked in front of me timidly and mostly shuffled than walked. I chuckled to myself, happy at his reaction.

   "Hurry up." I growled, trying to scare the wimpy Beta more. He hunched his shoulders as if to make him seem smaller and scurried faster.

   When we started walking down a hallway, a scent hit me. One that I had been waiting for so long. A mixture of red honeysuckle and the smell of fresh rain.

   I started walking faster, my feet having a mind of their own. They stopped at a room which was locked from the outside. I growled loudly and yanked the door off, chips of wood scattering all around and the door being flung of its frane.

   I stepped over the mess and took in a lungful of breath; my wolf going desperate and crazier by the moment.

  I smiled to myself with my eyes closed thinking how I had found my other half of my soul. My destined lover. My bearer of my future pups.

   My mate.

Dun, Dun, DUUUN!!! They are finally going to meet!!! *squeals* I cant wait for the next chapter even if I have to write it!!! 😝

This is a special update since I missed two updates because I was busy. I wrote this like in 30 minutes bc i felt bad for not updating. -_-'' Bad me!!!

On the scale of 1 to 10, how good was it?

[I literally went thru all the febrezee and glade sprays on the store to see which one smelled good since I like to make it real :P]
