"Um what?" Isadora said. "I literally saw Klaus get killed with my own fucking eyes. He's dead."

"No he's not Issa." Elena said, softly. " He apparently body swapped with Tyler. His body was dead for a short time, but he himself never was."

Isadora looked like she was about to break down, but she remained composed, "He's dead Elena. Just accept it."

Elena sighed, then pulled out her phone and dialed someone's number. The phone rang for a moment before someone picked up, "Hi Ty." Elena said.

"Isadora's back in town." Elena informed him, nodded her head. "Yeah, she still believes that Klaus is dead. Tell her he ain't for me please."

Another paused came about before Elena said, "She refuses to believe me." Elena stated. "Thanks Ty."

Elena then handed the phone over to Isadora, who hesitantly took the phone and put it up to her ear. "Hey Tyler." Isadora said.

"Hey Isadora." Tyler replied. "Elena's right, Klaus isn't dead. He had swapped our bodies. He was in mine when Alaric supposedly killed him. Not to mention he killed my mother back in December, after he was supposedly dead in your eyes."

"What?" Isadora said, shocked.

"You deserve to know the truth Isadora. We would've told you sooner but you cut all contact." Tyler said and then hung up the phone.

Isadora has a look of shock over her face, she refuse to believe it. Klaus was alive and never sought her out. Klaus was alive, while she mourned him. This man had the audacity to never inform her and just let her mourn him for fucking months. Let her carry their child for months without him! Isadora was livid but there was only so much she could do now.

Isadora handed Elena phone back and turned around and said, "Mom, Dad; why don't you two head upstairs and get everything set up for yourselves." Anthony and Cornelia nodded at their daughter and then proceeded up the stairs.

Isadora then motioned for Elena to follow her outside and asked, "Do you know where that asshole is El?" Elena was a bit shocked at the language used but considering what Isadora was feeling right now was understand.

"He left town again after graduation, he helped kill off some unwanted people. Bonnie had dropped the veil allowing the dead to be visible to the living and undead." Elena explained to her aunt. "We have no idea where Klaus went after that."

"I think it's best you go home for now Elena." Isadora said, seething in anger at Klaus. Isadora felt deceived, he was alive this entire time and it pissed her off that Klaus didn't even think to come find her or anything. It hurt, hurt more than when she thought Klaus died. Isadora felt betrayed.

"Okay." Elena said, hesitating. Elena then sighed and opened the door, "See you later Aunt Issa." Elena then close the door behind her and Isadora collapsed onto the couch.

Not only was Isadora fucking pissed, but also really hurt and sad that Klaus seem to not care about her anymore. So for the rest of the night, all she did was lay on that couch and cry herself to sleep.

It was now a month later, July 15th, and Isadora Flemming was currently in the hospital. She had go into labor the previous night and has been at the hospital since, hoping the baby would come out anytime soon.

Isadora had both her niece, Elena, and her mother, Cornelia, in the room with her. Her father had opted to stay out in the waiting room as he didn't want Isadora to feel to too crowded in there and because she never specifically requested he be in there. He knew his wife, her mother, would do a fine job of making sure Isadora would be okay.

Now back in the delivery room, the doctor had just informed Isadora that she was ready to have the baby, "I need you push now." the doctored stated.

Isadora, squeezing Elena's hand, used all her strength and pushed. "Another push!" the doctor said. Isadora pushed again. "One more push and that should do it!" the doctor yelled. Isadora gave one last strong, hard push and a few moments later a cry was heard.

"Congratulations Ms. Flemming, it's a baby girl as the doctor held the baby up and then handed her to Isadora. "I'll leave you to bond with you little one for few minutes."

Isadora looked down at the little baby girl that was currently against her chest. Her and Klaus made her. Isadora looked at her and she was absolutely enamored with her new daughter.

"She's so beautiful." Isadora said, on the verge of tears.

"You did great darling." Cornelia told her daughter as she walked up to Isadora's bed. Elena was right next to her and was the next to congratulate her.

"She's adorable. You did amazing Issa." Elena said.

"Thank you Mom, Elena." Isadora said, smiling.

After everything post-Isadora's labor was done and over with, Isadora was full-on, with family in the room only, bonding with her baby. Isadora had let Elena hold the baby first after her, then her mom, and then her dad.

Currently, Isadora was rocking the baby back and forth in her arms. Elena decided she'd be the one to ask, "So Aunt Issa, have you decided on a name yet?"

Isadora nodded and started to explain, "Her first name is Mireya. It means miracle, as well as admired. And she is my little miracle baby and I'd admire her son much." Isadora then took a moment to breathe and continued, "Her middle name is going to be Henriikka-"

"That's an interesting choice, my dear." Cornelia interjected.

"It's after Klaus' little brother Henrik, the reason they became Originals in the first place." Isadora explained. "Even if Klaus isn't present, I want her to have some part of her connected to him, so her middle name is for her late paternal uncle."

"I think that's thoughtful, darling." Anthony told his daughter.

"And then her surname is gonna be Flemming." Isadora said, catching a glimpse of the surprised faces around her. "Klaus didn't even care to find me and it's super unlikely he'll ever be present in her life at all, so she get's my surname."

That made sense and everyone nodded in agreement.

"Welcome to the world my little love, Mireya Henriikka Flemming." Isadora said, looking at her daughter with nothing but love and admiration.

author's note: and it's official, little baby mireya has finally made her appearance in the story. from here on out, the rest of the story is likely gonna take place in 2029/2030, when mireya's in her late teens.
