Provisional Hero License Exam: 2

Once the tired man explained the rules of this dodge ball type game the place started to shake violently, Izuku clutched Todoroki's arm tightly as the walls unfolded and the tremors stopped. Luckily class 1-A was already huddle together for the ceremony so they didn't have to bother finding anyone and headed towards a mountain type zone as a group. The call for the test to begin was a mere 30 seconds away at best.

"I can't use my quirk in a group," Todoroki blurted out, slowing down his strides to branch away from the group, "I'll meet you guys for the next test." Then he just left. Izuku pouted slightly, feeling a little more scared than before.

"YEAH FUCKERS I'M LEAVING TOO!" Bakugo shouted out, stomping away with Kirishima quickly chasing after him. Despite the less people Izuku still took time to look around and analyze the area as best as he could.

"There looks to be several cliffs surrounding us which was really bad, sneak attacks could easily be carried out... The buzzer will go off very soon, best thing to do now is get higher ground. Though with UA being a top school I doubt we won't be attacked. Keep your guard up everyone..." Izuku mumbled loud enough for the group to hear. Most people nodded in understanding and glanced around, looking to spot enemies.

"GO!" The announcements echoed throughout the whole stadium.

Automatically there were huge groups of people jumping out on them, all raining down balls on them. For now Izuku decided to use Momo's shield for cover, all the balls were deflected or even thrown back.

"Ohoho~ looks like this isn't the same UA from the sports festival." Shindo laughed with glee, turning towards his team mates to say something, while he was doing that Izuku spoke up to his own team.

"We have a slight ace in the book." Izuku called out.

"What do you mean, they know all our quirks?" Jiro complained, Izuku grew a grin

"Not all of them."

"Since Deku-kun wasn't at the sports festival they don't know his abilities," Iida exclaimed, "Which means they may be hesitant to attack if he's in the way." Izuku nodded and stepped out, eyes studying everyone around them.

"Deku is kinda scary when he's analyzing.." Kaminari murmured to Sero, "Normally he doesn't speak that much either.,." Sero nodded, glancing towards Izuku's cold, calculating eyes.

"Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen him like this before-" Sero was cut off after hearing a small yelp come from the greenett.

"Guys careful, somehow they got the balls to underground with some sort of lock on." Izuku turned to them as he looked around at the ground.

"I got this!" Jiro exclaimed, running forward and plugging in her earphone jacks into her gloves and punching the ground, directing her heartbeat to break the ground and expose the balls. They still headed in the same direction, towards Izuku.

"Deku!" Mina stepped forwards to help him out but before she could get too far he already broke one of the balls and shattered the other two. The class blinked, how did he do that? It was too quick to see.

The other people seemed to be thinking the same thing. Shindo sneered and bent over, placing his palms on the ground, "If we can't hit them together, let's split them up!"

In an instant his hands started to send out shock waves, breaking up the ground and having the class tumble down to the next level of the cliff spread out, Izuku just happened to land away from everyone else.

Quickly he surveyed the area. He didn't like this one bit. He felt alone- when was the last time he felt like this? It seemed forever ago. He heard foot steps around him, his head snapped but saw no one. He didn't relax his guard, in fact he tensed, he was sure there was someone-

He jumped forwards and turned when he saw a hand reaching towards one of his targets just behind him, though sadly he was too late and a ding was heard. His target turned an orangish red, he was met with a view of the same girl from when he first met Inasa, the caramel haired girl. She giggled with a grin, staring at him with wide eyes and... a blush? Izuku stayed on an alert, keeping his eyes on the girl while straining his other senses to listen for anyone else approaching the area.

"Aren't you just adorable?" She cooed with an odd accent, gripping the ball in her hand tighter. He tried not to cringe, this girl reminded Izuku of... Tomuchan...

Izuku's eyes darted to her posture, she lowered herself closer to the ground, holding the ball behind her. There were a few seconds before she darted forwards sharply, Izuku took an involuntary step back but quickly steadied himself and darted to the side, the moment he glancing away to check the ground for anything he could trip over the girl was gone.

In slight panic he glanced around, leaving his side exposed. He just barely registered a voice before he lunged to the side, narrowly avoiding another target getting hit. He jumped up the slope as fast as he could to get higher ground. He turned to the girl again but she wasn't there.

'It's like she just keeps disappearing and reappearing!' Izuku thought to himself. He scanned the ground below him for the girl or even a footprint when he heard her voice again.

"Do you think my quirk lets me disappear?" Her voice teased before he was harshly tackled to the ground, his arms held behind his back. "I was just hiding." She giggled again and leaned in close to his ear. "Still not talking, huh?"

"It's a technique I use, turning my opponent's attention away and then clearing my mind and holding my breath, basically erasing my existence." Izuku could see her face inches away from his own, her breath tickled his neck as he suppressed a shutter. "But anyhow, I want to know about you!" She said it as if she were whining, "Why are you here? Why do you want to be a hero? For honor, pride? Come on tell me!" Her breath seemed to thin as she stared into his eyes with a gleam in her own. Izuku's heart was pounding, she was too close, he could feel her body pressed against his back and her hair irritating his neck.

He didn't like this.

In an instant Izuku used all his strength to push her off of him, bringing his knees up and springing away to let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. Suddenly the ground they were just under broke open, revealing the lock on dude from Ketsubutsu. The girl seemed to pout as she glared at the intruder. Izuku was slightly glad for the distracting till he saw the rest of the dude's class gather behind him.

In an instant all hell broke loose, the ground under him shook violently before it opened, the last second he sprung rather high into the air, dodging midair to avoid balls and spider wed looking things. Thanks to his foot gearing he can make blasts of air to propel into the air or into a certain direction by waving his ankle a certain direction and letting the metal snap together. He kept in the air only thanks to that.

"Deku-kun! Over here, hurry!" He glanced over and saw Uraraka in the open, holding out a hand to him even though she was a solid ten feet away. The Ketsubutsu class of course saw her and attacked, but-

Why was she out in the open like that?

Still when she fell Izuku couldn't help but spring forward and catch her, she wasn't even using her quirk? Something was off.

Soon he found a place to hide behind, taking Uraraka with him and set her down so they could run together. "Uraraka-chan!" Izuku called. Oddly Uraraka squealed at his voice, he decided to push it aside for now. They dashed behind the rock and regained their breath, once Izuku could breathe properly he peered around the corner to check for anyone.

"Sorry, I messed up their." Uraraka apologized sheepishly. Izuku looked back to waved the matter aside with a small smile as he turned his attention back to everything else.

"S'fine" Izuku still couldn't shake the feeling, Uraraka didn't act normal... he glanced behind him again only to see Uraraka with a ball inches away from one of his targets, he harshly slapped her hand away and stepped out into the open with a glare. "But you aren't."

She gave a giggle and a wide smile before her appearance seemed to melt away. "If you knew why'd you save me?" Izuku's eye twitched as he took another step back. "I really want to know more about you!" She squealed before lunging at him, Izuku squeaked when he realized all the goo melted off and she was naked. His face flushed but he quickly regained his serious look when she clawed out, leaving a scratch across his face.

'Are her fingers claws now?' He mentally yelled, stumbling back unevenly as she kept lunging forward and slashing out at him. He soon tripped and landed on his butt, closing his eyes in pain, though luckily when he opened them the girl jumped back to avoid a sudden roll of tape flying in between them...

Sero?

He glanced up at where the tape came from and sure enough captain office supplies was there, "How do you always get your self in these predicaments!" She yelled out, glancing behind him, "Uraraka!"

Suddenly Uraraka sprung out and flied over her head before shouting 'release,' but still narrowly avoided her.

"She has fast reflexes!" Uraraka cried out as she stumbled sideways. The girl jumped up onto a ledge and crouched, hiding all her... uh.. places luckily.

"Aw... I really... really... really wanted to get to know you more! Shiggy said I could... but everyone is so mean!" The girl whined. Izuku backed up slightly even though he was still on the ground with a scared expression. "Maybe later!" She soon left, quickly leaping across the rocks. Sero jumped down and helped Izuku stand up, Uraraka looked at him with a concerned expression.

"You okay?" She asked. Izuku looked stiff and shook his head no. "What's wrong?" She placed a hand on his shoulder causing him to flitch and blink a few times.

"Th-that w-was..." He shuddered and clutched his stomach and covered his mouth with his other hand and looked to the side, collapsing onto his knees and throwing up. Automatically Sero and Uraraka made eye contact, concern edging their features. "V-v-v-ill-villain..."

"What?" Uraraka exclaimed, hesitantly approaching Izuku to try and comfort his trembling form. "How can you tell?"

"She said Shiggy- isn't that short of Shigaraki?" Sero blanched, Izuku tensed at the name but gave a stiff nod, whipping his mouth and looking up.

"We need to tell!" Uraraka all but shouted.

"There isn't a way, we have to complete the test before we can report anything." Sero sighed. Izuku was pale but gave another nod with dreary eyes.

"Th-then let's g-get this over w-with." Izuku murmured, stumbling forwards slightly. Sero grabbed his arm to steady him but he knocked it way. "C'mon." As much as he didn't want to go forward he still did, climbing up from the way Sero and Uraraka came from and crouched down giving a hand wave for the other two to follow. Reluctantly they did.

"They're getting closer, Deku-kun." Uraraka murmured as she watched Ketsubutsu make their way towards them. Most of their class was missing, probably eliminated but they still kept moving forwards.

"What do we do?" Sero grumbled, "I can't hit a target for crap..." Izuku studied the area once more, taking note of everything that they could use.

"Uraraka-chan, how much can you lift?" He mumbled, though she still heard him.

Izuku jumped out, attracting everyone's attention .

"Hey! It's an UA student!" A Ketsubutsu yelled, pointing at Izuku. He made sure to stick low and avoid any thrown objects while circling the group, bringing them into a tight circle as planned. Uraraka and Sero should be circling the perimeter to jump when the time is right.

Izuku stopped and caught a ball, throwing it back and surprisingly hitting one's target. they all seemed to pause, trying to figure out what his quirk was even though he didn't even have one. They were all bundled up and a perfect target... he couldn't help but let out a slightly sadistic smirk which made a few flinch. He brought up his hand and gave a small signal.

In an instant tape covered rocks fell from the sky thanks to Uraraka and Sero, trapping every student successfully. Many shouts of complaint sounded out but were quickly stopped when the three UA students got out there balls. (HEHHEHE)

Soon nine people were out and the three of them helped them get out of the tape.

"Sorry about that.." Sero chuckled sheepishly as he helped Shindo stand. The latter only grinned and turned to Izuku.

"I just have t ask, what's your quirk?" He asked with a slight hint of venom in his voice.

"Oh! Deku-kun's quirkless!" Uraraka chirped, "But we need to go report something..." The three shared uneasy looks and bounded towards the waiting room.

Izuku didn't feel good at all, he felt like he'd throw up again if he wasn't careful. Father might be in prison but Tomu-chan was still out there... he felt sick. Uraraka and Sero seemed to notice as right after they informed an adult they walked Izuku to a restroom.

He did end up throwing up again with Sero rubbing his back, he was pretty pale and shaking slightly but decided he was good enough to go to the main room and see else passed out of UA. Uraraka offered him a water bottle when they got out of the boys restroom as they headed back. He gladly accepted as his two friends fussed over him, making him sit down till the time is up.

Apparently their group of three was also the last of the twenty UA students to get in so when they were spotted the whole class came over with bright grins. Though they quickly melted once they saw Izuku.

"Deku?" Todoroki was by his side in an instant, kneeling at the sheepish green bean.

"What happened?" Iida made his weird hand motion and addressed Uraraka and Sero with concern. They made eye contact before looking at Izuku. Sero opened his mouth before-

"There has been 100 people to pass." The tired man announced over the speakers. "As well as a separate issue we need to address. There has been a villain spotted on campus. Since as far as we can tell there's only one we will not stop the test but be sure to have an extra eye out and beware of your surroundings. They have been reported to be able to change into someone and was last seen as Camie Utsushimi from Shiketsu High School. The real Utsushimi has yet to be spotted." All of 1-A's eyes landed on Izuku after it finished.

"Well, there's your answer..." Uraraka sighed, looking back to Izuku.

"All people that passed still have one test a head of them, everyone meet in the main room for debriefing in five minutes." It added, The announcer giving a drawn out yawn afterwards and a slight snore before it went silent.

Automatically everyone bombarded Izuku with questions before he abruptly stood up and stumbled out the room towards the debriefing.

"I'm worried about him..." Todoroki grumbled to Momo. She was still recovering with some food from her fight but still rolled her eyes.

"You're always worried about him." She joked.

"Still." Todoroki barked with pink dusting his cheeks.
