"Wake the hell up, brat." Izuku jolted awake at the venomous voice and the slamming of a door. He sat up from the concrete ground, giving no emotion away. His body throbbed with pain, ever small cut, bruise and scar screamed out but to Izuku it was numb. Show no weakness. As Father says.
And one never goes against Father's word.
Izuku stood fully, looking with blank eyes at Tomuchan. He scoffed at him and opened the jail cell, Izuku took that as an invitation to walk out and stand silently next to his brother as he locked the cell once more.
"Sensei is expecting you." Tomuchan growled as he glared a Izuku, the boy simply gave a nod in response. Though, internally he was trembling as terror slowly enveloped his mind, he hadn't seen father since he first met Tomuchan. That was five or six years back, he wasn't quite sure... Time seems to change when you've been locked in a cell since you were five years old.
Tomu-chan's hand snaked around Izuku's neck with one figure off as they started walking down the halls of the Villain Base. Izuku's eyes scanned the area, everything being evaluated for possible escape or hiding places. Most doors were locked and the ones that were open had nothing useful inside of them.
"Hurry up." Tomuchan hissed, his finger's tightened around Izuku's neck. If the boy's body wasn't tense before it sure as hell was now, but he picked up his pace.
Soon they arrived at the all too familiar bar, a man made of purple mist was cleaning a glass like he always did. Izuku had yet to learn his name.
"Shigaraki." The man nodded in greeting, the yellow spot's in the purple mist that resembled eyes flickered towards them. Izuku wasn't addressed, though it's not like he expected to be. He was nothing more than a play thing to these villains, an object if you will.
"I need a warp gate." Tomuchan stated bluntly, bringing his free hand up to scratch his neck raw. "To Sensei." The Mist Man nodded, waving a hand to open a portal just in front of them.
"Message me if you need a way back." The man stated before turning his attention to the glass cup, stull rubbing it down with a washcloth to get rid of any none existent smudge marks. Tomu-chan didn't bother responding as he dragged Izuku through the warp gate.
Izuku felt a shiver make it's way through his spine as the purple fog licked his body, but he held it back in fear of a punishment. He closed his eyes till the feeling of the gate was gone, quickly opening them to see that he was in a damp building. Tomu-chan dragged him forward by his neck, the pressure slowly increasing making it just slightly more difficult to breathe. However he didn't voice his complaints, he knew better.
They both went further into the building, Izuku eyed the several tubes and tables covered in papers and surgical tools with unease. Soon they turned a corner, a single door was welcomed into view. He was scared, he barely suppressed the unwanted need to tremble. He hadn't seen Father in so long. He didn't want to see Father. Still, he pushed forward, forcing his feet to move and stabilize his knees so they wouldn't give out under him.
Each step towards the door was fast, but to Izuku it couldn't be slower. Everything seemed to slow down, his chest twisted and the need to breathe was a forgotten memory. His throat closed off and his mind was running wild. He could hear the blood rushing in his ears, his vision blurred and things shifted into two, each step seemed to echo, muffled by the fear clogging his senses.
Tomu-chan's reached out to turn the door nob, it slowly open to reveal a pitch black room and the beeps of a life support heart monitor.
"Sensei." Tomuchan said with a small bow, his fingers growing loose around Izuku's neck- well looser than before.
"Ah! Tomura, thank you for bringing him. You're free to go." Sensei's voice was unexpectedly raspy, Tomuchan nodded and left, closing the door behind him. "Nice to see you again, Izuku."
"Nice to see you too, Father." Izuku whispered out. The words felt foreign on his tongue, speaking at all felt weird. His voice was a higher pitch and scratchy from not using It for so long.
Father gave a delighted laugh, the sound of a bed creaking cloud be heard. "Come here my boy!" Izuku complied without question, walking further into the darkness. He relied on a sixth sense to maneuver around obstacles and made it to Father's side, blinking a few times to try and have his eyes adjust to the dark.
He realized Father was lying in a bed and the heart monitor was hooked up to him.
It felt wrong. This felt wrong.
No matter how bad of a person Father was, he shouldn't look this weak. It was wrong for him to look so- so... fragile. Still he felt no remorse for Father, even as he examined him closer to see the top of his face made out of pure scar tissue. His hair, nose, ears, and eyes were pure scar. Nothing remained of his face other than a grinning mouth.
He bit his lip to avoid speaking out, his curiosity burned in his chest like wild fire. Father seemed to notice as he gave an amused huff, "Speak, child."
"May I ask what happened to you, Father?" Izuku almost stuttered but luckily caught himself, still, the fact he voiced such a bold question sparked fear in him. He braced himself to be hit or scolded but instead Father sighed.
"This is the result of a hero, my boy." Father said it remorsefully. "Those vile creatures have no care for others, only themselves." Izuku gave a stiff nod, hoping Father caught his response. It was too vague, but Izuku knew it held truth. Father never lied, he simply molded the truth into manipulated and exaggerated fact.
"Though, that's not the reason I called you here." Izuku's chest tightened on these words. "I would like to introduce you to someone." He barely turned his head, like his nonexistent eyes were flicking to the side where a man appeared. "This is Agni Brona." {Meaning Pain, Terror} Izuku bowed his head in greeting, the man returned the gesture. "He's a well trusted friend of mine, he'll be making you a villain costume to help hide your identity as I've decided your ready to take jobs soon."
Izuku's mind rang with opportunity, all he would have to do it run away once he gets out side! He made sure to remain stoic on the outside but inside hope dared to bloom in his chest.
"I expect you to go with Agni with no fuss. Feel free to voice any ideas for a villain suit too, he'll just make one up if you don't have a preference. Tomorrow you will be heading to pick it up and try it on, understand?"
"Yes, Father."
The next day was the same awakening with Tomuchan, he brought him to Mist Man and they went to Father, Agni picked him up and lead him to his work shop where the costume was laid out.
"How do you like it?" The man asked with a smile.
"It's fine, thank you sir." Izuku answered flatly. It was honestly looked like a hero costume, pale green and black. It had peach gloves and a red utility belt, a hoodie that had rabbit ears on the top, and a fanged mouth piece. It was made of metal and looked basically like a jaw curved into a frown with sharp teeth. It looked like it mocked All Might from what Izuku could remember. Agni shoved it in a bag and sent him on his way to Father...
Alone.
It was a perfect opportunity, he set down the bag and quietly made his way out of the warehouse, avoiding anything that made noise. He quietly opened doors and scanned the wood floors to avoid any creaking. Luckily since he was barefoot he didn't have to worry about shoes making noise.
When he was blessed with the feeling of cold air hitting his face as the night sky twinkled with stars he took his steps to freedom with wide eyes. There was no one around as it was night, there were buildings around as well as trees, grass, rocks, and the weird noises of crickets. Izuku almost started sobbing right there if it wasn't for the hand that clamped over his mouth.
Izuku gasped, glancing back to see the enraged eyes of Agni, the boy panicked, bashing his head against his chest, dropping into a roll and picking it back up into a spring. He was so close- but he heard the shouted curses and heavy foot steps behind him. He didn't bother to hide the trembling and terrified tears as he ran, it became harder to see as the water blurred his vision, still he didn't stop moving his legs.
Agni was gaining ground too, Izuku could hear his voice but didn't bother registering the words. Izuku needed to run, he didn't look behind him, he ignored the burn in his chest and pumped his legs as fast as he could.
He arrived in a park, or what looked like one from what Izuku remembered them looking like. His eyes closed involuntarily before he plowed straight into someone, before he could get away they grabbed his arm so he panicked even more, he screamed and kicked but it did nothing.
"Stop moving." A venomous voice hissed in his ear, he opened his eyes in shock only to be face to face with Tomuchan's blood eyes. He almost immediately fell limp, just barley letting himself stand. His eyes were clouded with terror and tears, looking up at his big brother...
Tomuchan put the last finger down.
It felt like he was still screaming from the unimaginable pain when he woke up, gasping a deep breathe as his head snapped around-
He was back.
He was back.
It felt like he never left this damn cell. Izuku screamed in frustration, he didn't care this time.
He was so close-
So, so close.
The scream turned into a pathetic sob as he curled up into a ball on the concrete floor, trembling and letting the tears fall. His arm was wrapped into a bandage, he was surprised to see it was still even there.
Without warning a warp gate enveloped him, swallowing him whole and depositing his shaking body right in front of Father's bed. His throat closed and all his "weaknesses" automatically disappeared. He realized how royally fucked he was.
"Izuku." Father's spoke animosity towards him. The boy couldn't help but curl further into himself, once again shaking and scared out of his mind. One single word from father was enough to show what was going to happen to him. "I gave you a test. I wanted to see if I could trust you, so I let you walk back alone. You showed me I can't trust you." The waspish in his voice screamed danger. "Therefore you will be serving a punishment and extra lessons till I know I can trust you." Those words rose bile to his mouth.
Izuku wanted to run again, but the next warp gate that swallowed him showed there was nothing he could do. He dropped into a bloody chair and was quickly strapped in by a masked figure. He knew what this was. Automatically the chair started to vibrate and heat up, soon the terrible cracking of air, then the shrill scream that ripped Izuku's throat raw. The electricity swarmed the metal chair, Izuku was mercilessly attacked by those sparks that burnt his skin.
After seven seconds it turned off, only to shortly turn on again, repeating the process till Izuku couldn't scream again. His nerves were fried but that didn't stop the masked man to bring out a scalpel, slitting his wrists and dragging it across his chest and making an 'X' over where his heart was. What was worse in the masked man's quirk had something to do with healing, so as he was sliced and stabbed the wounds would slowly heal over, making it impossible for him to die.
Though, death didn't seem too bad.
It had already been a year and remarkable progress was made..
"Are you ready, Izuku?" Father grinned down at him.
"Yes Father." His emotionless voice rang out, cold but vacant. He jumped down, off the shorter building, rolling to absorb the impact causing his hood to fall. He never put the mouth guard on, it wasn't need. He only had one job, it didn't matter if someone recognized him. That job was to kill.
Izuku ran out into the open, slashing a frog girl's throat on the way. He settled, scanning the 19 students and teacher- well 18 student's now. One's dead. Eyes rested on the top two second years, a blond and red eyed boy and a red and white haired heterometric boy. A broken smile slipped across his face that didn't reach his eyes and the blood on his cheek slowly dripping down his neck, he couldn't help but lick his lips.
This will be fun.
