From what we understand of it, Project Development of Synthetic MindSet or Project DSMP worked on the human brain's capacity by immersing apparently lab grown human individuals in numeric simulations for extended periods of time that could go from a few days to multiple years and never keeping the subjects awake for the entirety of their existence. While the exact goal of the project was never identified, it's purpose seems to be to study the effects of memory replacement, time acceleration, extended exposure to a numerical environment and "memory stacking" on the human brain. According to Project DSMP's database, "memory stacking" refers to filling the brain with as many memories and years of consciousness as possible to see how much it can assimilate without degrading. Apparently due to sabotage and multiple incidents with test subjects, the project was stopped a few years before it was discovered by this organization and most of the data mentioning the project had been destroyed, but we managed to recover parts of it. However, the people working on this project were never identified.
