Rain poured outside and thunder roared.
Kitchen sink played off my laptop as I organized the newest shipment of records.

Ding

My phone notifications show someone sent me a text. I ignore it until it beeps seven more times.

Josh dun: Hi Madison, long time no see but I'm in the area

Josh dun: I'm also stuck in the rain

Josh dun: ...hello

Josh dun: how far away from baileys bagels is your store

Josh dun: I'm lost

Josh dun: and soaked

Josh dun: Madison please help I'm lost!

I decide to answer even though I haven't seen him in months.

Madison: hey Josh, take a left down 2nd then a right on Oak

Josh dun: holy crap thank you

I put down my phone and change the song from twenty one pilots to finish ticket.

Bring the rain comes on shuffle first.

"How ironic." I chuckle to myself.

The door swings open and a dripping wet Josh steps in.

"Hi." He weakly says.

"Hey Josh." I smile and grab a towel from the front desk.

"Gosh thank you so much!" He says as he dries off his hair.

"It's no problem." I say.

"So how have you been?" He asks.

"Good, not too busy." I say. This feels a little awkward, honestly.

"That's nice. Um, I don't think you'll have this, but any chance you have a change of clothes my size?" He awkwardly asks as he rubs the back of his neck.

My ex boyfriend left me a year ago and I still haven't managed to get rid of his stuff.

"Yea, I actually do." I give an awkward smile and run upstairs to where I live.

"Thank you again!" Josh shouts from downstairs.

"Can you lock the door?" I call back down to him as I rummage through the old box full of articles of zachs clothing.

"Sure thing." He says.

I pull out sweatpants and a black tee with a orange "Columbus" sweatshirt.

"Thank you so much." Josh says with a huge smile as I place the clothes in his hands.

They vaguely smell like Zach.

How am I not over him yet?

Josh skips to the bathroom and comes back out changed into warm clothes.

"How have you been?" I ask him.

"Super busy. Tyler and I just finished a tour so I'm home for a couple months. But Jenna took Tyler on a vacation and I got lost and had nowhere to go, so I, uh, texted you." He laughs lightly.

"You're hilarious Josh." I smile.

"I know it's been a while and all, but can we do what we did last time? Like watch a movie and chat?" He stuffs his hands in his pockets and looks at his feet, then me.
