"This would be a cool way to die."

"Who taught you how to braid like this? It's so intricate." Yelena asks as Becca finishes the blonde's hair. Becca did their hair after they had changed into their snowsuits to retrieve Alexei from the prison he was being held in.

"Uncle Thor." Becca says with a smile. "Plating is a sign of love for the Norse. For the Asgardians especially. Loved ones would plate strands of hair on the men they love before heading into battle." She explains with a proud smile as she ties off Yelena's hair. "Uncle Thor taught Mama and then he taught me."

"The thunder god enjoys hair braiding?" Yelena comments with a laugh. It was hard for her to piece together that the famed god of thunder, the warrior and prince would enjoy something as simple as plaiting or braiding hair. It didn't seem to fit the image she had of him.

"He tried to plait my hair several times." Natasha adds, "He nearly lost a finger." Becca giggles as she sits in the back while Yelena and Natasha. She then looks over at the coms and sees the one that was sent to Alexei begin to blink, indicating that he had put it in his ear. "Today is your lucky day, Alexei." Yelena holds a tablet with a map of the prison for Natasha to see. "Move to the door on the south wall." She instructs the Red Guardian. When the tracker in the com turns green, it means that Alexei did what he was instructed. "Go left." Natasha instructs further. "Just don't make a scene."

Becca can hear faint cheers of inmates as sirens wail and she looks at her aunt, "Something happened." She says and Natasha rolls her eyes.

"You made a scene, didn't you?" Natasha asks Alexei frustratedly. Becca peers over to look out the windows and sees Alexei kick down a door.

"He's running." Becca states, watching him break into a run but then stop when he realizes he doesn't know where to go next and all his exits are blocked off by walls and gates.

"What now?" Alexei asks in the com.

"We're getting you out of here." Nat responds and the girls hover the helicopter over the prison. But when they begin to descend to retrieve Alexei, inmates and guards appear on all sides. "Go to the upper level." Natasha instructs Alexei so he'd have a clearer chance at getting out. "Move your ass, super soldier." She quips to the man and Becca giggles.

"I've always wondered... do Papa Alexei and I share the same serum?" Becca asks curiously. "Is his derived from Papa's?" She adds onto her question as she looks down and sees Alexei leaping onto the wall and climbing upwards only to get tased by a guard.

"He's never going to make it." Yelena comments and Natasha huffs in frustration.

"Get me closer." Nat says and then looks at Becca, "Harness up." She instructs her niece and Yelena looks at Natasha with a raised eyebrow, "She's the strongest, you got a better idea?"

Becca slips onto the harness and fastens it quickly. "You could easily do this, Auntie." Becca says and Natasha nods.

"I've had my time in the spotlight. Now it's your turn." Natasha says and Becca smiles softly, she removes the headphones and grabs onto the cord. The aunt watches Becca open up the door and flies out of the helicopter. She swings her momentum with the cord, flipping herself and landing on the platform in a pose she'd seen her aunt do dozens of times.

"See. She's showing you that you are a total poser." Yelena quips to Natasha. The redhead rolls her eyes with a smirk.

Becca looks at the guards surrounding her. Her eyes find Alexei and then she focuses on getting the guards away from her. She pulls herself upwards on the cord and kicks the guard off the railing. She quickly moves to the other guards, kicking their hands to disarm them. She throws the cord harshly at another guard behind her, knocking him out instantly. Becca overhears Yelena and Natasha having trouble with the helicopter but she knows she can't focus on that when she still has guards attacking her.

She pulls out a baton and break it into two, she whacks the guards with the batons and cringes when she knocks them out, "That must've hurt..." She mutters. Her eyes then widen as she ducks the tail blade of the helicopter as it swung around, nearly hitting her. "Auntie Nat?"

"Whoo! Sorry.." Yelena mutters into the com.

Becca runs to where she sees Alexei as Natasha looks at Yelena, "Are you kidding me? You almost hit her, back, up." She snaps frustrated at Yelena. The blonde only turns to look at Natasha and grins, giving her a thumbs up.

"We're all doing a really good job!" Yelena beams in excitement. As Becca continues to get to where Alexei is, a tower guard begins to shoot the helicopter, putting several holes in it and it causes Yelena to get frustrated. "Seriously?" She whines and gives the controls over to Natasha. She moves to the opened door of the helicopter and grabs a grenade launcher. She kneels down and aims it at the tower. She presses the trigger and watches the tower explode upon impact. "Ha!" She exclaims with a smile. When she walks back to her seat in the front, all eyes turn towards the rumbling sound in the distance, "Whoa... this would be a cool way to die." She mumbles as an avalanche ensues onto the prison.

"Tell me that's a good sign for us!" Alexei shouts into his com. He stares upwards at where Becca is standing on the walkway above him.

"As Aunt Tasha would say, move your ass!" Becca shouts to Alexei as the avalanche gets closer to the prison by the second.

Natasha watches both Becca and Alexei on the ground, then looks at Yelena, "We need to get us out of here." She states as she and Yelena both control the helicopter to lower itself.

Becca runs quickly as the cord swings back around. She leaps off the walkway and grabs onto the cord. She grunts as she holds herself up and flies underneath the helicopter. Yelena flies the helicopter in a big circle to turn around and grab Alexei. When they swing back around, Becca extends her arm for Alexei and he grabs on just as the snow hits them. Yelena and Nat fly the helicopter upwards and away from the snow covered prison.

When the two come back into the helicopter, Becca lays on her back and breathes out heavily. Her face had minor cuts from the snow hitting her harshly, but other than that, she was okay. She soon stands up and moves to the bench she was sitting on prior.

Alexei on the other hand was revelling in his newfound freedom. He laughed maniacally and poked his head out the window, shouting in Russian, "Прощай, придурки!" Farewell d-ebags. Once he finishes his screaming, he closes the door so the elements stop hitting them inside the helicopter. "Oh... that was exciting." He whispers out of breath in English. Becca fixes her hair as she regains her normal breathing. Alexei looks at Becca, holding her gaze and then looks at the three girls, "Oh, i'm so proud of you girls." He says and then narrows his eyes at Yelena and Natasha. "Oh, you can't hear me, huh?" He yells to them and then breaks into a chuckle, "Okay." He says and swiftly grabs a spare headset, "Ah. Wow." He breathes out in awe as he leans onto Yelena's chair. Yelena backhands Alexei in the face. He groans in Russian. "Okay... why the aggression, huh?" He asks cautiously. "Is it your time of the month?" He asks teasingly.

Becca's eyes widen in shock and looks at Yelena, "I don't get my period, dipsh-. I don't have a uterus." Yelena quips back to Alexei without a second thought.

"Or ovaries." Natasha adds. Becca looks at Alexei and sees his surprised expression.

"Yeah. That's what happens when the Red Room gives you an involuntary hysterectomy. They kind of just go in and they rip out all of your reproductive organs." Yelena says with hand gestures. "They just get right in there and they chop them all away. Everything out, so you can't have babies-"

"Okay! Okay. Okay. Okay!" Alexei shouts, disgusted at this point and he sits down across from Becca on the benches in the back, "You don't have to get so clinical and nasty." He says quickly.

"Oh... i was about to talk about fallopian tubes, but, okay..." Yelena says, unphased by it all.

"No." Alexei snaps quickly, still trying to rid his mind of what Yelena said earlier. He looks at Becca and pauses. His eyes linger on her before looking to the others, "It means... so much to me that you came back for me." He says but Natasha won't hear any of it.

"No. No." Natasha snaps, "You're going to tell us how to get to the Red Room." She states, clear and precise to the point. She didn't want to make conversation with Alexei. But that was all Becca wanted to do.

He had changed drastically since she last saw him in Cuba, but he was still her father figure for three years. Someone who was kind to her and gave her a home when she had been stripped of one in the past. After she had been poked and prodded by scientists for decades.

"Whoa, look at you, huh? All business." Alexei teases.

"Trust me, this isn't pleasure." Nat states curtly.

"Little Natasha, all indoctrinated into the Western agenda." Alexei states.

Becca can see that he was pushing her aunt's buttons and getting to her. "I chose to go west to become an Avenger. Cause they treated me like family." Natasha explains her choice to defect from Russia.

"Really? Family? Well, where are they now?" Alexei comments. "Where is that family now?" He asks bitterly.

Becca shuffles in her seat anxiously, her leg beginning to bounce and Natasha knows it. Alexei was never told that Becca was the niece of Captain America. The Red Guardian had a famous feud with the Star Spangled Man with a Plan back when he was in action. Becca's family history was not disclosed to Alexei other than that her genetic makeup was unique and something they wanted to study.

"Tell me where the Red Room is." Natasha snaps, getting the subject back.

Alexei pauses before holding the microphone attached to the headset closer to his mouth. "I have no idea." He states, causing Yelena to scoff. "Okay?"

Natasha huffs in frustration and pulls off her headset. She moves to sit beside Becca and yanks off Alexei's headset. Becca cautiously pulls hers off. "Oh, come on. You and Dreykov were-"

"Dreykov?" Alexei snaps, cutting Natasha off.

"Yeah." Nat snaps back.

"General Dreykov, my friend, huh?" He snaps and reclines on the bench in frustration and anger. "Gives me glory. Soviet Union's first and only super soldier. I could have been more famous than Captain America." Alexei rants, Becca's eyes stare at her hands in her lap, her fingers messing with her beads. "Then he buries me in Ohio on that stupid mission. Three years!" Alexei shouts, Yelena glancing back in surprise. Natasha remains stone faced as her arm slips around Becca. The aunt knew Becca would take Alexei's words to heart and let it affect her. "So tedious, boring me to tears." He says and looks over at Yelena, "No offense, huh?" He mutters. He then turns back to Becca and Natasha. "Then puts me in prison for the rest of my life. Why, huh? Why? Why would he put me in... you know why? Cause maybe i want to talk about the withering of the state. Or maybe i don't like his hair or something and i say something casually about that. Maybe, you know.. i want the Party to feel actually like a party instead of this sourpuss organization." He rambles and Becca breathes out slowly, blinking back tears that surface. Her memories of Ohio now tainted with who Alexei truly is. A bitter, old man who was only interested in bettering and furthering his gain. "But instead, no. He puts me in a prison for the rest of my life. He just runs off and hides with that stupid Hydra scientist that took my place as his closest friend." Becca's eyes snap upwards at Alexei when he mentions Sinclair.

"What..?" Becca whispers in disbelief.

Natasha shakes her head subtly at Becca, her hand on Becca's leg. "I'm not even the one who, uh... you know.... I'm not the one who killed his daughter." He says to Natasha.

Yelena curses in Russian and glances back at Natasha and Becca. "Can we throw him out the window now?"

"I think we should wait until we get to a higher altitude." Natasha quips back.

"почему бы не спросить у Мелины, где он?" Why not ask Melina where it is? Alexei asks the three girls.

Becca's eyes snap upwards, "Mama Melina?" She mumbles.

"We thought she was dead." Natasha states in surprise.

Alexei scoffs with a smirk and shakes his head, "You cannot kill a fox that swift."

"Ew." Natasha cringes.

"What?" Alexei asks with a smirk, "She was the scientist, the strategist. I was the muscle. She worked directly for Dreykov far more than i ever did." He says.

"Wait-" Natasha says, interrupting Alexei and leans towards him. "Are you telling me that Melina is working for the Red Room present day?"

"She works remotely outside St. Petersburg." Alexei confirms Natasha's suspicion.

"Ah.. I do not think we have enough fuel for St. Petersburg." Yelena comments from the drivers seat.

"No... no we're good. We'll make it." Alexei says sure of himself.

"Okay..." Yelena mutters with a roll of her eyes. Not believing him for a second.

Becca looks up at Alexei, her eyes still slightly red rimmed. One of her only pieces of happiness from the Red Room was destroyed within seconds. Alexei was looking at her as well. He remembered the little brunette girl, but she should be much older than the teenager he sees now. "When Sinclair said you were special, i didn't mean that was literal." Alexei states.

"Don't say his name." Becca mumbles. "He's gone. I put him away."

Alexei raises an eyebrow, "Did you now? Sweet, innocent Rebecca that wouldn't hurt a bee even if it stung her?" He questions with a scoff, indicating he didn't believe her with a tilt of his head. He leans onto his forearms and stares at Becca, taking in her eyes. "Your eyes are the same as the ghost." He whispers, "They looked identical back then, but seeing them now.."

"I have my Papa's eyes. Yes, i've been over this multiple times with other people. You're not the first to comment on them." Becca snaps in frustration.

Alexei's eyebrows raise in curiosity. "So it's true. The Winter Soldier did sire an offspring. I had heard rumors through grapevines but nothing was ever confirmed. Even Sinclair would never admit to anything." He says in surprise with a smile of finally knowing the truth.

Natasha looks at Becca hesitantly, whatever Becca decided to say next would alter what the girls would say. If Becca wanted to keep up the front and not tell Alexei the truth, they wouldn't say anything more. But Becca was done hiding in the shadows and lying. She was tired of the lies, the hidden truths and the shadows.

"I wasn't sired." Becca states curtly. "My Mama and Papa made me out of love." She snaps defensively over her parents. "And Papa wasn't the Winter Soldier when he and Mama created me." She says, "He was Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes of the One o Fifth Army regiment. My Mama was not some random woman Hydra brought in for Winter to have fun with and potentially create a legacy. Her name is Doctor Mary Elizabeth Rogers-Barnes. Apprentice of Doctor Abraham Erskine and sister to Steven Grant Rogers, better known as-"

"Captain America." Alexei whispers in disbelief, cutting Becca off. "Your uncle is Captain America?!"

Becca crosses her arms and stares at Alexei with a nod. "Yes. And he would kick your ass in a fight." She snaps.
