"One of us needs a love life"

The three girls run down the street, knowing at any moment they'll have to fight. Becca was tired of fighting, she wanted nothing more than to simply turn and run. But that wasn't who she was as a person. Her family were the ones that risked everything to save people. She needed to keep up that legacy no matter what it cost her. She wouldn't feel right abandoning people in need, or her own family. She knew the conflict in her mind was because of everything she was still processing. The Red Room being alive and her memory of it being wiped by Sinclair without her even realizing it. It was a huge thing to process. She thought it was gone. Or at the very least dismantled. But it was still operating as if nothing had happened. Did that mean Sinclair was out of prison? Did he somehow find a means to escape? He had strict rules to never have his mask removed because of his form of mind control.

But it made Becca wonder. How much did Sinclair do for the Red Room and Dreykov. She knew they were friends, but were they actually friends or business men. It terrified her to think that he had a hand in more things than she realized. How strong his grip on her was still.

He must have done it to her before she left for America with her father under Pierce's command. Before the serum was even injected into her and turned her into a super soldier.

"Which one's yours?" Natasha asks Yelena in a hurry as they rush over to the line of motorbikes.

"Left. Brown seat." Yelena states as she scrambles to find her keys. "Where are my keys?" She asks nervously. Natasha tosses them in the air and catches them, claiming the driving position. Yelena stares at Nat in disbelief. The blonde swears in Russian, causing Becca to giggle under her breath.

"Can you really keep up?" Nat asks Becca anxiously as she starts the motorbike. But before Becca can say anything, a car flips past them. "Any day now." She quips to Yelena. And while the sister climbs on the bike behind Nat, a large tank pulls around the corner.

"We're about to find out." Becca states as she jumps in place, readying herself to use her speed for the first time since the Decathlon. But even then, she wasn't truly using her full potential because of the people around her at the time in DC.

Nat nods and quickly turns the bike around and speeds off in the other direction to run away from the tank. Becca glances up at the tank briefly, then takes off running after Nat and Yelena.

Yelena glances behind her shoulder and sees Becca running just behind them. She watched as Becca leapt over objects falling in front of her with ease. It didn't seem hard for Becca to keep up at all. And it stunned Yelena just how much her sister had changed.

A van pulls in front of the motorbike, causing Nat to swerve into a tunnel. Becca quickly turns to follow the bike as it turns onto a street. She glances beside her as sees a Widow on a bike as well speeding up beside her. "Can i borrow this?" Becca asks with a small smile, all the while still running and keeping up with Nat and Yelena. Becca jumps onto the bike and hits a few pressure points on the Widow to take her movement away. She sets the Widow down on a bench she passes by and then speeds up the bike to continue following Yelena and Natasha. "Thank you!" Becca shouts to the Widow. She cringes when she's blocked from following Nat and Yelena until she uses a stopped car to launch herself into the air. She lands harshly but she speeds up in time to get blocked by a bus. Becca huffs in frustration and then when it finally passes she speeds quickly to keep up with them.

"Becca!" Natasha shouts for her niece. Becca whips her head to see them in a car. She discards the bike against the wall of parked cars and she climbs into the backseat, "You can't just steal a car." Nat says to Yelena.

"What, you want me to track the man down and un steal it?" Yelena quips back sarcastically. Natasha tries to drive the car but ends up putting it in reverse, hitting the car behind them. "Any day now."

"Shut up!" Natasha snaps at Yelena and she finally gets it into drive and speeds off down the street.

"There's probably more Widows on our tail." Becca says as she glances behind herself to look in the rearview window. Seeing exactly that, more Widows. "I don't like being right..." She grumbles.

After a little ways, Natasha swerves towards an on ramp, hoping to block the Widow following them. Becca's eyes widen when the Widow pulls out a rifle and begins to shoot. She and Yelena duck to avoid the glass and bullets spraying at them.

"Okay, you got a plan, or shall we just stay duck and cover?" Yelena quips to Natasha as the redhead of the trio continues to drive.

"I'd like to know that plan." Becca comments from the backseat.

"Yeah, my plan was to drive us away." Natasha states.

Yelena and Becca glance at each other and then look back at Natasha.

"That's a sh- plan."

"That's not really a plan.." both women say at once.

Becca looks around in the car and then motions to Yelena with her head towards the backseat door. "Now that's a plan." Yelena comments softly and yanks the steering wheel to spin the car around. Becca kicks open her side of the car door and a pole collides with the open door. It breaks away from the car and hits the Widow's bike. Grounding the assassin. Natasha spins the car back around and continues to drive, "You're welcome." Becca watches as Natasha swerves onto a busy street full of cars, she weaves in and out of their way until the tank rears its ugly head once again. It smashes into cars and rolls over them without any struggle. One car flips far enough to hit the car the trio is in enough to shake them. But Natasha keeps driving. "Oh, sh-. He's back." She mumbles as she looks behind her shoulder and sees the tank.

"Who's back?" Becca asks as she keeps her eyes on the tank. She watches as a man appears out of the top of it and whips out a bow and arrow.

"Put your seatbelts on." Natasha states to both of them.

"You're such a mom." Yelena whines as she puts her seat belt on. Becca quickly doing the same. The teen had a feeling they weren't going to be able to escape him this time. Whatever he was going to do with the arrow, he wasn't going to miss.

Becca hears the arrow fly and she ducks her head as the bottom of the car explodes, sending it flying into the air. The car lands ontop of the tank just before it slides off. It rolls over a few times before sliding down the stairs of a subway entry point.

"Becca?" Natasha mutters as they finally feel the car stop. All three slowly make their way out of the destroyed car.

"I'm here.." Becca grunts as she climbs out of the car shakily. "Lena?" She whimpers as Yelena climbs out of the car with a bleeding arm.

"Rebecca, no.." Yelena mutters, pushing Nat and Becca away from helping her up, "I think i'm bleeding."

Becca instinctively moves to cover Yelena's wound but Natasha stops her. "Not now. Trust me." The redhead says as he drags the three of them out of the eyes of the people surrounding them.

The three run over to the escalators and slide down the middle to escape as quickly as they can. Because all three knew the man was still after them. Becca hears a shield being thrown and she grabs the girls and pulls them onto their backs to miss the shield. It loges itself in a pillar, thankfully missing it's target and innocent bystanders.

Nat then pulls them onto their feet quickly and they run. They climb into an air shaft, pulling Yelena up last so her trail of blood leads the man away from them. Yelena groans in pain as Becca swiftly uses the shirt Yelena had packs to tie around her arm, cutting off the blood flow until they could get it looked at.

"You okay?" Nat asks, her eyes still watching the subway.

"Yeah.. great plan.." Yelena mumbles as she sits up with Becca help. "I love the part where i almost bled to death." She quips, shrugging off Becca, trying to get her to stop helping her.

Becca sits beside Yelena and looks around the air shaft, "This is cozy.." She mutters.

"Clint and I spent two days hiding out up here." Natasha says and Becca's eyes widen in surprise. The brunette looks up and sees marker games on the walls of the shaft. Becca smiles softly when she sees her Archer uncle's handwriting.

"That must've been fun.." Yelena teases.

"Who the hell is that guy?" Natasha asks after a few minutes of silence. Becca was curious as well. It was possible she knew, but her memory was scattered, just like her papa's. She had no way of knowing what was true and what was implanted by Sinclair.

"Dreykov's special project. Sinclair had Rebecca.. Dreykov had him." Yelena states monotone. Becca wraps her arms around herself as she recalls pieces of memories. "He can mimic anyone he's ever seen. It's like fighting a mirror." Yelena explains and looks between Becca and Natasha. Both women were taking the news differently. Nat was in denial and Becca was in a state of shock. "Dreykov only deploys him for top priority missions."

"This doesn't make any sense." Nat mutters.

"That's why he had a shield..." Becca whispers. "He's seen Uncle Steve fight.. the.. the style was the same.." She mumbles and runs her hands through her disheveled hair. Her body was shaking as a panic attack began to take hold of her.

Yelena watches Becca, hesitantly placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Well, the truth rarely makes sense when you omit key details." Yelena says to Natasha.

The redhead looks over at Yelena as she scoots over to Becca and pulls the teenager into her arms, trying to get her to stop shaking. "What is that supposed to mean?" Nat snaps softly.

"You didn't say one word about Dreykov's daughter." Yelena states and then nods at Nat. "You killed her."

"I had to." Natasha says without hesitation. It makes Becca's eyes widen, she knew her aunt had killed people. But a child? "I needed her to lead me to Dreykov.." She says and then looks down at Becca, knowing this information would hurt her. "Dreykov's daughter was collateral damage. I needed her to be sure."

Yelena looks at Natasha, pain in her eyes but also some hatred. "And here you are, not so sure."

"I needed out." Natasha replies weakly, continuing to try and calm Becca down. "Shhh... Маленький волк.." Little Wolf. Natasha whispers to her niece.

Yelena watches them for a while before Becca finally begins to settle and calm down. "How did you know how to take care of my arm...?" She asks softly.

Becca raises an eyebrow, looking over at Yelena as she sits up slowly, "I.. Mama taught me.." She says softly. "While i was with her for that short time... during Ultron... she taught me some things..."

Nat smiles softly, remembering the movie nights she, Mary and Becca had plus Steve and Tony. Those two men couldn't stay away from Becca. They both had missed out so much on Becca's life. They didn't want to miss anything else. "Basic combat first aide." Nat says and Becca nods.

"Mama's the battle field angel for a reason.. or was." Becca says softly with a small smile.

"Your mother..." Yelena mutters.

"Mary Rogers-Barnes." Becca says, "The famed World War II nurse.." She adds with a small smile, proud of her mother's accomplishments. "Co-Founder of Shield.."

Yelena raises an eyebrow. "The same Shield that had Alexander Pierce as its leader on the Council?" She asks.

Becca bites her lip and shakes her head, "Yes and no..." She mumbles "Hydra snuck in through Sinclair's father.. Arnim Zola."

Natasha nods, "It's a long story." She adds, not wanting Becca to have to dig up painful memories like she had to.

"We have time." Yelena comments. "And you told me you wanted to catch up." She quips to Becca. "Good and bad." She adds

Becca looks at Yelena with a weak smile, "Alright." She says. The teenager then begins to tell Yelena everything, from the moment she was taken from Sinclair to aid her father with Pierce's plans and after. Finding her mother and uncle. Watching her mother and Fury fake their deaths and believing it was real. The fall of Hydra and Shield.

Becca goes on to explain her time on the run with her father. The massive mishap with Ultron. Being shipped off to live with the Parkers in Queens and finally getting the chance to live a semi normal life.

"Wait wait- Peter Parker.... Is he... boyfriend?" Yelena asks with a smirk and Becca's eyes widen.

"Wh- No.. Or.. well..." Becca stammers, rubbing the back of her neck with her hand. What she wouldn't give to be in his arms once again, the security she felt with him. She felt the most safe when she was with her immediate family or Peter. "We were together.... But.. not anymore.."

"Oh? Well that's depressing." Yelena grumbles, "Because at least one of us needs a love life." She quips with a shrug.

Nat watches Becca and then looks at Yelena, "She still loves him though." She says quickly, causing Becca to look at her aunt in shock.

"Aunt Tasha!" Becca shouts in a whisper. Her face beet red.

"It's clear as day, Becca." Natasha states softly.

Yelena smirks and scoots towards the girls, "Now it's interesting." She teases and Becca rolls her eyes with a groan.

She did love Peter, but it wasn't viable for them to be together. Not until they had grown as individuals. And that's what hurt them the most somedays.
