Christmas Chocolate- WOLFSTAR

Remus sat down on the chair of his desk, about to be killed by boredom. Sure, he had been getting extremely long letters from his friends, but since none of his friends live anywhere near Wales, they take a period of time to get to his window. Outside, the ground was covered by a thick blanket if snow, preserving all the mysteries beneath it, but it wasn't fun without his friends. More especially Sirius Black. Sirius played bad boy, careless, fearless, but in reality, as Remus knew, he could be sensitive, terrified and really empathetic. It sounds sappy, of course, but this was how the young werewolf found out that he couldn't live without him. He was like a drug, first annoying, then you become dependent on it. You want it. You need it. It was 5th year when he first discovered that he also had feelings for men aswell as women, and he was utterly petrified. This time, he was certain that if he told his friends, they would surely abandon him. So, even in 7th year, he didn't tell them. Taking a sip of his famous chocolate tea, Remus stared out of his window. If he had someone to take a picture of, it would make a really nice photo with his muggle camera. But he was an only child with parents who were slightly disconnected with him. On Christmas, which was only a couple of days away, then they could have a nice chat with tea and biscuits, but until then, Remus would rather not have a proper conversation, due to the awkwardness it would cause. Obviously, he could read a book, but, for once, Remus didn't want to. It was one of those days where everything just doesn't have a point to it. It was a knock at the window that broke him from his dreary boredom. It was the same knock that an owl would make. Behind the owl, there was four more holding a gargantuan parcel at each corner. Frowning slightly, he opened the window, allowing the owls to come in. After dropping the package in front of the window and on to Remus' desk, the birds fluttered out of the window without even taking a treat. Strange. Remus located the letter and detached it from the string bound package.

Dear Moony,

Happy Christmas! I don't even know when this has arrived, maybe it's before but I just can't handle this anymore. Just telling you now, I panicked. That's all I can say.

By now, Remus was panicking. It was clear that it was one of his friends but he couldn't tell if it was James' or Sirius' handwriting. The two boys had pretty much the same handwriting (Remus never figured out why but it probably had something to do with their more than close bond). Very cautiously, Remus peeled back the thick brown paper and held his breath.

"Merlin's beard!" Remus muttered. What he saw before him was millions of Honeydukes' finest. It was clear that Remus would have enough chocolate to last a lifetime, even if you ate it at Moony rate. Scanning his eyes through the letter, Remus found the name.

From Sirius Black

sooo, how was the one shot? i kinda like the sweetness (geddit?) of this story, like i could see this happening if i'm honest. sirius seems like the type of person to panic about stuff like this. remus loved it though.
see you next millennium.
