Daisy Lillian Frye

It's been nine months that you're carrying Jacob's child. Your back hurts and your belly felt heavier than before, of course. You didn't feel as good as you used to be.

Being pregnant with his child really tires you out, but that didn't make you stop loving your child.

You were in the living room, helping Jacob getting ready to visit Evie. You grabbed his black coat and hurried towards him carefully. "Here you go, Jacob," you said.

He took it gently before kissing your forehead. "Thanks, love," he said. "I'll be home as fast as I can. I don't want you to wait for me here alone."

"Hush, Jacob. I will be fine, trust me," you smiled at him. "I wish I can come with you. I would love to meet Evie again after all this years."

He chuckled. "Well, our bundle of joy is coming and I want you to stay safe. We don't want to hurt our child, don't we?" he said. You gave him a singled nod. He turned his attention towards the door and open it.

"Be careful, my love," you said. He looked at you lovingly. "I will," he said and gave you a passionate kiss.

Time passed by quickly, and yet, Jacob is not home yet. You spend your time reading Oliver Twist in the bedroom, one of your favourites. You would occasionally take a rest with your hand rested on top of your belly.

You and Jacob cannot wait for the arrival of the baby. You are on your way towards the kitchen to get some snacks. Then, you felt something really wet in your genital area.

Your eyes got wide as saucers when you realized, "My water just broke..!" You gasped in panic, your belly started to hurt. You dashed towards the phone and ring Jacob.

"Hello?" you heard his voice clearly. "J-Jacob, where are y-you?" you stuttered, still clutching down to your belly. This concerns Jacob. "Are you okay, darling? I'm almost there."

"Jacob... My water just b-broke!" you shrieked. "Bloody hell! Louisa, hang on! I'm very close to home! Do I need to call Elise to watch you?"

"N-no need Jacob, I'm fine. Just... hurry up please. I need you here!" you pleaded. Tears started forming in your eyes. "Hang on, Louisa. I'll be there! I love you!" He cried. "I love you too...," you answered weakly before he hung up the phone.

You started to feel your contractions. You were curled up on the floor next to the coffee table. "Jacob... Jacob...," you muttered his name again and again. You didn't want anyone to watch you or to make you feel better.

You just want a comfort from your dear husband.

When you were about to close your eyes, the door burst open, revealing a shocked Jacob. "Louisa!" he cried. He helped you got up and opened the front seat of the car.

As soon as you arrived at the hospital, the nurses quickly escorted you towards the delivery room. There, you laid down with Jacob by your side. "It will be alright, love," he said. He stroked your hair and gave you small kisses.

"I'm scared, Jacob...," you cried.

"Why do you have to be scared? Our baby is on their way to earth, to the world! We can finally meet our beloved child," he said. "I'm always by your side. I will never leave you."

You nodded. As if right on cue, the doctor came in with her nurses. She quickly prepared herself, which makes you more nervous. "Alright, you can start pushing now, Ms. Frye," she said.

With all your strength, you pushed hard. Your hand latching onton Jacob's and hold it tightly. "Aahhh!" you screamed. You keep on pushing and pushing, Jacob's hand felt crushed with your grip.

Your body were all covered with sweat. Your breath becomes shallow and you felt weaker. "W-wait...," you panted. "I need a rest."

"No time for rest, Ms. Frye! I can see the baby's head! I just need one big push, and then the baby will pop out," the doctor said. You looked at Jacob and he gave you a reassuring smile. "You can do this," he said.

You took a deep breath and tried your best to push the baby out. Soon, you heard a very loud cry. Jacob smiled widely and looked at you. "You did it, love!" he exclaimed. You smiled weakly and panted.

"It's a girl!" the doctor said. Jacob kissed your forehead. "What should we name her? I thought it's gonna be a boy," he chuckled.

"How about Daisy? Daisy Lillian Frye," you said. "Ah! Going for the name of flowers, aren't we?" he said. You smiled and nodded. "I love that. Daisy Lillian Frye, it is," he said.
